Liv Charette releases a powerful glam-pop anthem, entitled, “Red Flags White”
Liv Charette is a rising Nashville-based singer-songwriter from Canada. Not too long ago, she released a powerful glam-pop anthem, entitled, “Red Flags White,” produced by Logan Maggio. The song is Liv Charette’s sixth single and her first release since unveiling her 2021 remake of Tina Turner’s hit single, entitled, “I Don’t Wanna Fight.”
“The inspiration for ‘Red Flags White’ came in the most unexpected way – on Valentine’s Day-themed Peloton ride with Kendall Toole. She talked about the phase of a relationship where we ‘bleach the red flags white’ because even though we know someone is bad for us, we brush it off and ignore the red flags, thinking it’s probably all just in our heads. ‘Red Flags White’ is about that moment of time between falling for someone you shouldn’t have and realizing that you are better off without them.” – Liv Charette explained
‘Red Flags White’ tells an intriguing tale about a young woman who can’t resist the temptation of being intimate with someone who she shouldn’t be intimate with. Apparently, when it comes down to romantic love, they are an extremely toxic pair. Therefore, it’s very dangerous for her to even entertain the not-so-good idea of them being romantically involved. Furthermore, "Red Flags White" contains a relatable narrative and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Dua Lipa, Demi Lovato, and Katy Perry.

MILCK releases an appealing music video for her empowering pop tune, entitled, “Power”
MILCK is an advocate, singer-songwriter, and producer. Not too long ago, she released an appealing music video for her empowering pop tune, entitled, “Power.” The spirited song was co-written by MILCK and co-produced by Stefan Lit (One Direction, Andy Grammer, Galantis, Ben Antelis, Clover, and Lena Leon). Throughout the release of “Power,” MILCK will use her platform to bring awareness to Vital Voices in their work to stand with the women of Ukraine and uplift women leaders in the region.
“What if starting today, every time we look in the mirror, we say hello as if it’s the first time that we’ve met ourselves? What if we offered ourselves kindness and second chances? I decided to stop striving for the external accolades that I thought would give me power. The true accolade is seeing my life as a gift, and honoring who I am now.” – MILCK asked herself
For the video, MILCK asked fans and friends on Instagram, “What words of empowerment would you write on a post-it note for yourself or a loved one?” In return, she received an outpouring of submissions and incorporated them into the set design of the video.

GAYLE releases an alternative pop-rock tune, entitled, “sleeping with my friends”
GAYLE is a Platinum-certified, chart-topping singer-songwriter and musician based in Nashville, TN. Not too long ago, she released a lovely music video for her alternative pop-rock tune, entitled, “sleeping with my friends,” which tells an intriguing tale about a young woman who realizes that she needs to stop romanticizing everything in her head. Apparently, she fools around with her friends for a weekend and never gets to see them again. Therefore, she admits, “I always end up feeling like I’m a trophy on the top shelf with nobody left to hold me.”
“Got to separate my sexual attraction from my loneliness, yeah, it’s a chain reaction. I know I should go to a therapist ‘cause it keeps happening. Used to be funny but now I stopped laughing. I know that I should stop my million mistakes in a pretty little bow. Say I’m tired, spend the night, we know where it’s gonna go. Say, we’ll take it slow, I really need to stop sleeping with my friends.” – lyrics
‘sleeping with my friends’ finds GAYLE confronting her mistakes head-on. The likable tune contains a relatable narrative, vulnerable lyrics, and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of WILLOW, Alex McArtor, and Chloe Lilac. The song follows hot on the heels of GAYLE’s previously released single, entitled, “e-z,” featuring UPSAHL & Blu DeTiger. Both tunes are featured on GAYLE’s six-track debut EP, entitled, “a study of the human experience volume one.”

Davion Farris releases an appealing music video for his new R&B ballad, entitled, “Bad Guy”
Davion Farris is a Grammy® Award-winning and two-time Grammy®-nominated singer-songwriter from Inglewood, California. Not too long ago, he released an appealing music video for his new R&B ballad, entitled, “Bad Guy,” via Hillman Grad Records/Def Jam Recordings. The painfully honest video was directed by Boma Iluma (credits: Comfort, The Chi, The Seven Faces Of Jane) and co-stars Destyni Freese of One LA Women Development.
“‘Bad Guy’ is about understanding that pain and heartbreak aren’t exclusive to men or women. It’s also about learning how to stick by your boundaries, and an honest look at a man being the one in that position of vulnerability (as you’ll often find me).” – Davion Farris explained
‘Bad Guy’ contains a problematic relationship-based narrative and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Ne-Yo, Pierre Medor, Atozzio, Dontae, and LaShawn Daniels. The heart-wrenching tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with contemporary R&B and warm neo-soul elements. Furthermore, “Bad Guy” is the latest music to drop in advance of Davion Farris’s upcoming project, set to be released in May 2022, with details to be announced in the weeks ahead. Jeverson releases a delightful R&B tune, entitled, “Somethin’ in the Water”
Jeverson is a talented singer-songwriter from Grenada. Not too long ago, he released a delightful R&B tune, entitled, “Somethin’ in the Water,” which tells an adorable tale about a young guy who finds himself chilling at a blissful spot comparable to paradise. Apparently, he loves being there because he’s having a good time mingling with a desirable woman who wants him to take her home. Therefore, he admits, “I’m feeling like I’m flying, supersonic meditation for my mind. There must be somethin’ In the water.”
“There’s this beach at home called Grand Anse. I’ve met some amazing people while performing or just hanging out there. Some of those people have changed my life and I thought that there must be something about the place/water that is responsible for me having the experiences that I’ve had, you know, something in the water. For me, being Grenadian is a vibe, and I wanted to capture that chill, island-time, easy-going vibe that I get from being home. I’ve always wanted to sing soulful music and I think I’m finding my way to a simple balance between island vibe and soul/funk.” – Jeverson explained

Lillian Blue Makin releases an introspective hip-hop tune, entitled, “Let’s Never Stop Growin’ Up”
Lillian Blue Makin is an alternative hip-hop artist from Toronto, Canada. Not too long ago, she released an introspective hip-hop tune, entitled, “Let’s Never Stop Growin’ Up,” an exploration of the juxtaposing euphoric and disappointing natures of growing up.
“‘Let’s Never Stop Growin’ Up’ is about sustaining one’s naive and mature characteristics simultaneously, while tackling the tug of war between adulthood and childhood. It’s about the push and pull of learning how to evolve as a person without losing who you are. And ultimately realizing you can just be. One thing I love about this track is that it is tied melodically and contextually to both the intro and outro of the whole project. It’s something I am really excited for people to hear once the project is released in Spring. For example, the intro takes on quite a naive approach, while ‘Let’s Never Stop Growin’ Up’ is written from more of a learning perspective, specific to the last few years of my life. And finally, the outro incorporates my community as they speak on what it means to them to grow up.” – Lillian Blue Makin explained

Anjali Asha releases a spectacular urban R&B tune, entitled, “Doomsday”
Anjali Asha is an up-and-coming Indo-Fijian/Mexican-American singer-songwriter based in the Bay Area, California. Not too long ago, she released a spectacular urban R&B tune, entitled, “Doomsday,” the final installment and the title track of Anjali Asha’s new EP, which digs deep into the darker parts of her mind. The six-track project conveys an overall message of perseverance and overcoming obstacles.
“I let myself unravel a little. I needed to show people their lowest moment doesn’t define them, but their reaction to it does. ‘Doomsday’ is about being so consumed in fear that it feels the world is going to end. Anyone can find some sort of solace in ‘Doomsday.’” – Anjali Asha explained
Every song on “Doomsday” deals with a different demon Anjali has faced – and most of us have too. From the haunting melodies of “War,” to the loss and hope in “Vitals,” Anjali dives into topics of anxiety, depression, addiction, bad friends, purpose, and more. True to her “Chingona” mentality, she brings her ideology full circle and tops the project off with “Purple Heart,” a song that regards anyone who’s been through any of these traumatic experiences as a wounded soldier deserving of recognition and acknowledgment.
