Sunday, May 15th is set to deliver a fantastic total lunar eclipse visible across the US. This will be well timed for evening viewing, with max totality just after midnight on the east coast, and 9:PM on the west coast.
Here in Denver, the umbral eclipse will start at 8:27 pm, with totality starting at 9:29 pm. Maximum totality is at 10:11 pm, where the Moon will appear its deepest red under the Earth's umbral shadow. (The Moon will already be in the penumbral partial eclipse as it rises.)
