Fior releases a sensational debut single, entitled, “Let Me Go”

“I just want a better life, looking for a paradise. You were my kryptonite. What was my problem? There are so many things left unsaid. Pour my heart out while you’re lying there. It’s pointless ‘cause you wouldn’t care. You wouldn’t hear me. You wouldn’t hear. Nothing’s the same, nothing’s the same. Why won’t you let me go?” – lyrics

‘Let Me Go’ tells a heartfelt tale about a young woman who wants her significant other to let her go on her merry way. Apparently, she desires freedom because their problematic relationship has run its course. Therefore, she tells he partner, “From the day I saw your face – was the day I wanted to change. That distant love wasn’t used to a thing, gave me a reason to think I’m insane.”

‘Let Me Go’ contains a relationship-based narrative and lush, agile vocal melodies. The emotional tune possesses sleek, beat-driven instrumentation bursting with alternative and contemporary pop elements. Furthermore, “Let Me Go” serves as a wonderful introduction to what listeners can expect to hear from Fior in the near future as she continues to release new music.

“‘Let Me Go’ was inspired by a relationship that ended three years ago. Over the past three years there has been a constant cycle of the boy that I loved pulling me back in, yet never fully wanting to commit. This song is a breakthrough in the cycle I was continuously falling for. The words ‘Let Me Go’ speak for themselves. It means it’s time to move on to something better, to break free from the restraint that has been holding me back for so long.” – Fior explained

FIOR stands for flower and truth. Inspired by real-life events, her lyrics celebrate the kind of vulnerability that leads to strength, and her words encourage listeners to accept emotions and embrace the importance of speaking their minds. When the 2020 pandemic forced the world into quarantine, Fior began sharing her music, spending 2021 developing a catalog of original tracks with renowned producers: Scott Storch, Vincent Berry II, Austin Brown, DannyBoyStyles, Mr. Franks, Social House, and Louie Lastic.
