British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is vowing to continue to fight for his leadership after two high-profile resignations from his cabinet within minutes of each other. A “cascade” of junior Tory figures also resigned on Tuesday “and made public statements about their decisions, claiming the Government is incompetent and untrustworthy.” Health Secretary Sajid Javid and Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak resigned immediately after Johnson admitted (followed by his habitual apology) that he had full knowledge about the sex allegations against MP Chris Pincher, and yet still elevated Pincher to the top job as his deputy chief whip.
From persistent lies about stopping the steady influx of illegal Muslim migrants coming in via the English Channel (let’s not forget that suicidal immigration policy drove the Brexit vote), and COVID hypocrisy to sex scandals and more (read a timeline HERE), Johnson’s incompetence is well know to readers of Jihad Watch and the Left Column.
The leader of the far-Left Labour party savaged Johnson. Keir Starmer described Johnson’s “efforts to cling to power as ‘a pathetic spectacle’” and called Johnson’s remaining supporters “a Z-list cast of nodding dogs.” But of course the Labour Party would be even worse in the leadership than Johnson’s Conservatives.
Leftist governments are notoriously corrupt, but what makes Johnson stand apart is his perpetual posturing as a conservative, when he has proven to be driven by Leftist beliefs and assumptions — personally and professionally. Now Conservatives are calling for an “end of Boris Johnson’s premiership.”
Lord David Frost, former Brexit secretary, “called on Boris Johnson to quit as Prime Minister before he takes the Conservative Party and the Government down with him.”
The questions now are how much more damage Johnson will continue to do as prime minister, and once another leader takes over, will he or she be any better.
As the UK government implodes, Brits and those vying for freedom everywhere could only hope that a more sensible, grassroots Conservative leader would take over the helm.
“Conservatives call for end of Boris Johnson’s premiership,” by Meg Hill, Independent, July 6, 2022:
A wave of Government exits, including Cabinet resignations, are threatening to end Boris Johnson’s time in No 10.
Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid resigned immediately after the Prime Minister apologised for giving former deputy chief whip Chris Pincher a top job despite knowledge of a previous complaint made against him.
A cascade of more junior Tory figures also tendered resignations on Tuesday and made public statements about their decisions, claiming the Government is incompetent and untrustworthy.
Rishi Sunak, former chancellor: competent government is ‘worth fighting for’
Mr Sunak said “the public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously”, adding: “I believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning.”
“I recognise this may be my last ministerial job, but I believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning,” he said….
“Our country is facing immense challenges. We both want a low-tax, high-growth economy, and world class public services, but this can only be responsibly delivered if we are prepared to work hard, make sacrifices and take difficult decisions….
Sajid Javid, former health secretary: Mr Johnson’s administration is not ‘acting in the national interest’
Mr Javid said the British people “expect integrity from their government” but voters now believed Mr Johnson’s administration was neither competent nor “acting in the national interest”….

“We both want a low-tax, high-growth economy…”
And that’s why an average working person in the UK is now required to pay an additional 1.25% in National Insurance (a tax by any other name) on top of the 10% already charged, 20% income tax as well, then about £2000 a year in council tax (property tax). The tax burden on the average working person is at a 70 year high.
And I’m sure the high-growth economy can be achieved by increasing energy costs, not cutting taxes to fight inflation and reducing energy options to solar and wind.
Good riddance, Sunak! Shame he couldn’t take his tax increase with him.

Sunak has been under suspicion of working to benefit wealthy family members and of being less than motivated to do his best for the UK.
Javid’s name comes up often in claims he has been sidestepping responsibility for the invasion and the failure to deal with its consequences for little girls in the UK.
Seems convenient to deflect the light of examination to Boris’s failures to avoid further examination of their own failures.

For a while now I have been asking who wants to Wager on which European Country gets their very own muslim Prime Minister… Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany or the UK, and as the UK has a muslim politician on one side of him and a Hindu politician on the other side, both of which have thrown him under the Bus recently as both have had their evil eyes on 10 Downing Street for a long time already…
So… Will the UK be the first on their Bock to have a ”minority” PM as both men are about as English as Mama Merkel.
Oh how Enoch Powell was correct… But we didnt listen to him…

Boris isn’t going quietly I just heard on the news he has sacked Michael Gove. He’ll be rallying his supporters to storm Parliament next.

To gain an indication of a public figures ability to carry out their jobs in a meaningful way, we only have to look at their private lives.
In the case of this individual, he doesn’t even use his real name is Alexander Boris De Pfeffel Johnson. What a pretentious mouthful!
Educated at Eton, which is part of the “old boys club”.
Married 3 times and has 7 children to 4 different women.
These facts give an indication of the lack of integrity of any person, let alone someone who is expected to run a country of over 67 million people. And he can’t get his own life in order!!

UK: Two dramatic Cabinet resignations minutes apart rock imploding Boris Johnson government
…………………………………….
As extremely disappointing as Boris Johnson has been, if this gives Labour a leg up I’m not sure its a good thing.

Johnson isn’t quite the steely focused prime minister Britain needs. But he was hampered by a treacherous Europhile Civil Service and a mostly Remainer Media. Under parliamentary government, half the cabinet is always scheming against the PM. Is the Conservative Party able to throw up a better PM? The Opposition is hopeless. Britain is ruled by a class of conniving unserious people.
