Volunteering opportunities in Housing

Street representatives (reps)

Street reps volunteer where they live. They share information with neighbours, report street repairs, fly tipping and graffiti. They run playing out sessions for local children and help in community green spaces and also support free community cafes.

Street reps can get involved in what interests them. They do what they can, when they can, in a way that suits them.

Safe and sound property group

If you are interested in discussing the home you live in, its safety and the repairs that we provide, this could be the group for you.

Safe and sound comprises tenants and officers who meet online once a month to discuss new legislation, repairs, major works to our housing stock and statutory servicing.
