Could this have something to do with a cult of perpetual rage, sanctified violence, and victimhood posturing?
“Lebanon is the angriest country in the world, followed by Turkiye, data shows,” Middle East Monitor, August 4, 2022 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Lebanon has been rated as the angriest country in the world, followed by Turkiye and other countries in the region, according to newly-released data from the American company, Gallup, for the end of 2021 to mid-2022.
In Gallup’s Global Emotions Report, which analyses emotions in over 100 countries around the world, 49 per cent of people surveyed in Lebanon were found to experience anger on a regular basis, even on the day prior to the survey.
At 48 per cent, Turkiye closely followed second, above Armenian and Iraq at 46 per cent, and Afghanistan at 41 per cent. At sixth place in the list was yet another Middle Eastern country, Jordan, which has an anger rate of 35 per cent.
In the same report, some of those same countries were also subject to high levels of sadness, with Afghanistan, Lebanon and then Turkiye ranking as the top three saddest countries in the world. The same order of the three countries also counted for the nations which experienced the most stress.
While Iceland, Paraguay, Denmark, Ireland, and Cambodia are all countries which experienced the most enjoyment regularly, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Turkiye, and Egypt were amongst those at the bottom of that list….

The trouble is that Moslems stay angry even if the move to the “happy” countries in the west.Islam is the best method that was ever invented to spread angry ,senseless violence, child molestation, rape and general mayhem in society., You either a slave in Islam or a master and every Moslem like crabs in a pot pull all others around down keeping themselves trapped in the pot

Islam nurtures outrage due to an essential doctrine of Islam called “GHEIRA”. Because of this teaching ‘RAGE’ is a virtue in Islam as part of the HONOR/SHAME culture of Islam.
Ghayra or Gheera or Gheyrah in Islam means ‘protective jealousy or rage’. The Salafi scholar Muhammad Al-Munajjid indicates that the concept of GHEERA applies to protecting Muhammad from blasphemy. Any private Muslim is free from punishment whenever he executes someone who insults or demeans Mohammed. Thus, any private Muslim may execute blasphemers with or without a fatwa if the state fails to execute.
As well, GHEIRA means means a person’s dislike of another’s sharing in a right (which belongs to the former) … anything to do with family, for instance.
Gheira has a sense of earnest zeal over something and can be considered a kind of protective jealousy. In Islam, there are different kinds of gheira or ghayrah: that which relates to Allah or to Islamic teachings, or to Mohammed or to a Muslim’s personal honor or that of his family.
Allah’s GHEIRA is with sharing the obedience of his ‘believing slaves’ which rightfully belongs to him.
For an ordinary Muslim, GHEIRA is the rage in his heart which moves him to guard his family from indecency and to kill in the name of honor.
Westerners mostly do not understand that Islam is an HONOR/SHAME culture as well as death cult. The lost honor of a Muslim or Islam in general is restored by the shedding of blood.

Mortimer: So if a Muslim in a Muslim majority country is moved by envy or personal animosity against a non-Muslim acquaintance he needs only to manufacture some accusation of “blasphemy” to get his neighbor killed by other Muslims zealous to protect the “honor” of the religion? That seems to explain all the cases of so-called blasphemy against non-Muslims in NA-Pakistan!

Important observations, wpm, Mortimer, and SKA.
Kesselman says
The anger survey is no surprise. The ideology of Islam as a bigot, hypocrite, and supremacist “Weltanschauung” is on par with Nazism not at least in its view of Jews. Psychologically the anger flourishes when corporate punishments of children—and women exist. Studies about child-rearing in the Third Reich showed that corporate conduct toward especially boys fostered an aggressive hostility—one could say a willed hostility.
mortimer says
Agree with Kesselman. Anyone who observes the way Muslim boys are set free to exhibit rage will be convinced that this rage is being ‘set free’ as a normative part of the dysfunctional culture of Islam.
In addition, the lack of fathering in a polygamistic and misogynistic culture is remarkable, and leads to rage in boys.
As well, though we don’t have figures of the molestation of boys in Islam, some consider the percentage to be high. Such perversions could also lead to rage.

Spot on, Kesselman and Mortimer. And this starts young. A couple of years ago I saw a woman in Hijab and floor-length body bag with two children on the bus. The boy was about three or four and the girl was still in a stroller. The boy was enraged about nothing at all that I could see. He was kicking his sister’s stroller–the poor kid was crying–and when his mother half-heartedly tried to get him to stop he started slapping and punching his mother and stamping on her feet. What really struck me was that even though she was outwardly disapproving, the mother was sneaking broad smiles during this whole production. I’m sure junior got the message that this disgusting behavior was not so secretly encouraged. I imagine that dear old dad would probably have been even worse.
SKA says
The Book of Proverbs has a lot to say about anger and the deliberate expression of anger. For example
Proverbs 15:18
A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
Proverbs 16:32
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
There is also a verse that describes indulging in expressing anger as akin to breaching a dam causing an irresistible flood of water.
I believe there is also a verse elsewhere that counsels “be angry but sin not” and “let the sun set in your anger.”
To feel anger when one has been wronged is a natural human response but the gifts of wisdom and free will allow one to resist the expression of anger “taking it out” on others that creates the real personal and social harm.
Yet not only does Islam seem to relish inciting anger and indulging in violent behavior based on unrestrained anger (like the taxiyah “passion” parades the Shi’ites engage in now in the month of Muharram) but so does the secular doctrines of leftism. How often does the left celebrate so-called “righteous rage” and counsel its followers to even cultivate and hold onto such rage? Apart from the social violence this causes on a personal physiological level this cannot be good for one’s physical and mental health.
On the other hand theTurks and Lebanese may be right to feel anger towards their governments and religious leaders who seem to do nothing but inflict suffering on their peoples.
mortimer says
TO SKA: The Bible discourages rage and hostility, but the Koran requires it:
There are 14 verses in the Koran a Muslim is not the friend of a kafir. Therefore, a Muslim cannot be a brother to a non-Muslim kafir. And since Islam does not contain the Golden Rule, submission and domination are the only relationship Islam authorizes between and Muslims and the ‘other’. This is ethical dualism.
This is the saddest part of Islam. Islam rejects the bond of love between humans and substitutes submission, retaliation and other forms of dominance by the “best of people” over the non-Muslim kafirs.
The Koran, Sira and Hadith say that a Muslim is better than kafirs in every way, and that we are an enemy of all Muslims. It also says that Islam must destroy the kafir civilization over time. The Islamic source texts (the ‘Trilogy’) say that if a Muslim wants to be my brother and friend then he will be an apostate.
The pure Islam of the Koran is filled with insults and sheer hatred of kafirs. Mohammed hated and beheaded the kafirs. All teachings of the Koran are the teachings of Muhammad.
Mohammedans must imitate the hatred and hostility of Mohammed. In Islam, hatred directed against the kafir is normative, rather than an aberration.
Kesselman says
Agree SKA. “Apart from the social violence this causes on a personal physiological level this cannot be good for one’s physical and mental health.”—Exactly, I/we see cases where this very relationship between ragedepressionhopelessness leads to heartache and other physiologic anomalies.

Islam is a very angry, enraged type of religious ideology, and is full of calls for violence and rage throughout the Koran, so, if a person is inclined towards anger, then being part of islam is not going to help defuse your anger or teach you self control. Other religions do try to teach peacefulness and self control over your anger, Christianity and Buddhism being examples. Hopefully, the constant anger of some Muslims destroys their health and, because of their ill health, they will leave the non-Muslims of the world alone to try to live in peace. Very unlikely though.

The LEBANESE are the angriest? No wonder. The country has been in constant conflict since the 1960s.
Only 4 million Lebanese live in Lebanon, while the diaspora may be as much as 18 million, whether in Brazil, the US, Canada, and a dozen other countries.
How can anyone survive in that corrupt and violent society? Iran is using Lebanon as a proxy state and is ready to fight there to the last Lebanese.

You can expect nothing else as their ideology is filled with hate and loathing….loathing and violence towards females so no loving human relationships; hatred and instructions to kill others so no fun and friendships there. Even if they live in our countries this is what they are taught and how they feel although most don’t act on it while their numbers are small. Imagine the world is there was no islam and those entrapped in its evil could just love and live happily with others!
ceres says
I also remember worldwide surveys on human rights and gender equality…guess the worst countries; virtually all islamic, lots of them! So miserable, so horrible to females and others so they rage and scream and kill because they are brainwashed to do it and haven’t the intelligence to see this/islamic ideology is what the problem is and they could LEAVE and become ‘human’ and have a happy life …they are kept by fear and try to blame their horror and weak inability to leave on others eg jews, christians, buddhists, hindus, sikhs etc.

………………………………..
Yep. The pious Muslim reaction to almost any kind of frustration is unhinged rage. This does not make for happy campers…
I also found the world’s *least* angry countries: Finland, Mauritius, Estonia, Portugal, and the Netherlands–mostly European nations. People in Iceland, Paraguay, Denmark and Ireland experienced enjoyment. Least enjoyment? Lebanon, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Egypt.
The bottom countries for learning? Afghanistan, Turkey, Lebanon, Pakistan, and Egypt.

There are a few surprises in this list, but much of it is pretty much as you’d think. Living under Islam is not a good thing–but pious Muslims want to force it on the rest of the world.
