EFLM survey on the state of the art of creatinine, cystatin C and measurement of the glomerular filtration rate. The survey contains 40 questions.
Dear Colleague,
Your participation to the EFLM survey on the state of the art of creatinine, cystatin C and measurement of the glomerular filtration rate in 2019 was a huge success since more than 600 among you kindly answered the questionnaire.
The results are highly interesting, but many of you were in transition from a formula to the other, wanted to change the measurement of creatinine, implement cystatin C, or start measuring iohexol. Also, there have been some recent changes, like the “race-free” CKD-EPI equation to estimate GFR.
We thus think it would be an excellent opportunity for an update and to evaluate the evolution of laboratory medicine on these tests over a 3 years period. This will also increase the quality of the paper we will propose.
