Last Saturday, we celebrated AMBS's 60th anniversary with the AI Asia Roadshow in Taipei, featuring the insightful Dr. Mark Johnson from the University of Manchester. Titled "Bridging Technology & Humanity: AI Simulations for Organizational Growth," Dr. Johnson engaged in a thought-provoking discussion with Professor SJ Lee Hero, Chairman of the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Institute of Management of Technology. Together, they explored how AI-based simulations can tackle human challenges at the intersection of organization and technology. The event also included an in-depth panel discussion on the current utilization of AI in Taiwan, bringing together industry leaders and innovators to share insights and strategies. Stay tuned for the upcoming events in Taiwan and East Asia regions.

What an exciting AI Asia Roadshow with Mark Johnson that we kickstarted last Thursday in Korea. We had a highly engaging session, with alumni and students participating in insightful discussions about future perceptions in AI. A special thank you to Dr. Johnson for your engaging and interactive presentation — turning a still photo into a video is a big Wow! Many of our alumni were also impressed by the Post-Digit Skills concept and the link between AI and its biological development. We are extending our gratitude to Jay Kim for the tremendous support in making the event a success in Seoul. Stay tuned, and we look forward to meeting everyone in East Asia soon.

We could not be more proud of our alumna, Ms. Donna Buckland, who recently contributed an article to our Alliance Manchester Business School thought exchange platform, "Original Thinking," at https://lnkd.in/gS3beqJS. The article explores how Vero Insurance NZ Limited handled the crisis after the Christchurch earthquakes by focusing on a customer-centric strategy. It emphasizes the importance of resilience and strong stakeholder relationships in creating lasting value for the company. Donna was previously a board member of the Alliance Manchester Business School Alumni Association (China) and served as a panel speaker at an ESG seminar in Hong Kong last year. She is a dedicated member of our community, consistently bridging the gap between the centre and professionals in the region, and she is forever proud to be a graduate of the Manchester Global MBA programme. Thank you Donna for going above and beyond.
