I have so many incredible things to say about this book! It’s such an emotional roller coaster, with reconciling love and beautiful surprises. Then there is loss, tragedy and healing.
Maddox Hines is the son of Brody Hines, English rock star singer! Maddox has his own famous rock band. But, his first and forever love is Harper. Book 1 had me hooked on this series and I don’t want it to end! It’s so good in so many ways. The secondary characters are so important to this book! There are so many surprises in this book and more to come I’m sure. I took my time reading it because I wanted it to last! I am eagerly anticipating Book 3, and I also am looking forward to a Tessa and Lucas story. I loved this book so much and I would definitely recommend it.

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review
I gave this book 5 beautiful, heart exploding stars!
We begin this book where it left off in Stained. This is book two of the series Burning Souls.
Maddox seems to finally be getting his "adslkfj" together. But Harper is a little bit more reserved. Who could blame this beauty? She has been hurt over and over again by Maddox, and he makes promises he kept breaking over and over. But in Maddox's defense with all that he has been through he doesn't believe he is good enough for Harper so in turn he keeps pushing her away, But now he seems to have it together and he has stopped fighting how he feels, but now it's time for Harper to fight how she is feeling, to give in, to trust, and just to love.
This story is so beautiful and it hurts my heart how much these two have been through already, but it's not done they are going through so much in this book too. I loved this book more then I loved the first one and that is saying a lot cause I loved Stained A LOT.
Maddox and Harper are together in this book, BUT that is not saying that they are going to stop having problems because the problems are pouring in, and again you know the problems they have so does that mean that they will stay together?
I could not put this book down!! I love how the author puts the other characters in her other series in this book, and that they are just as important, not that it is a bad thing but most books only have a glimpse of old characters that we have come to love, but these characters are active and they are involved in the story line just as much as Maddox and Harper.
Again Thank you for an amazing book! I can't wait to read what else is in store for Maddox and Harper, they have been through so much in their lives and it breaks my heart how much pain they carry around with them, but they finally communicate in this book, and I know it's from all the pain that they have been through they are growing up.
I Ugly cried when I read these books!!! I laughed, I smiled, I got excited right along with them. But I mostly cried, so much heartbreak.
First love, True love, heart break, loss, family, understanding, it's all in there! Go get this book! You will love it I just know it!!
Now I am going to go lay in a fetal position until the next book comes out! <3

Holy shit! Almost 6 out of 5 stars!!! Forged rocked it. The story is fabulous. I imagine reading Forged could be likened to bungee jumping for the first time. From the prep of strapping in to making that climb in the lift. Hanging over the edge, preparing to jump. 1-2-3, leaping, breath escaping in relief, heart pounding descent, a held breath at the rope’s max stretch. A gasp and stomach-dropping snap back up. Repeating the process starting with heart pounding descent, each successive repetition lessening in intensity. Then the thrill of standing again.
Son of rock god. Rockstar. Maddox made his choice: Harper. He was aware of the damaged he’d done. He promised to never stop making up for hurting her.
Crushed by the rockstar. Harper doesn’t know if she can trust Maddox with her heart…again.
Their love story isn’t easy. But it’s theirs. Their love. Their story. As painful as it gets, it’s all about their love. In the past, where life has succeeded in keeping them apart, this time Maddox refuses to believe anything less than they were meant to be. Fighting for Harper. Fighting for love. An unknown enemy has devastating plans for Harper, Maddox and their families. Shaking them to the core. In a moment, the tables are flipped and Maddox must continue to prove and fight for Harper in the aftermath.
Forged brought me to my knees, sobbing. Sure, I laughed and smiled, sighed and gasped, stewed and scowled, but nothing compared to what felt like an open palm punch to the chest. The pain radiated through my heart. Coincidentally, my hubby texted me after this part, wondering how my day was going. I was tempted to be embarrassingly honest, “Ruined, wrecked, depressing, KMN.” But I went for less dramatics and simply replied, “It’s brutal.” Books they can so dangerous to your heart.
In Forged, you’ll find yourself rooting for love. First love. Maddox and Harper. Their families. Enjoy the jump and then hold for the fall and rise and repeat.
I previously said, “Almost 6 out of 5…” Had it not been for the random POV switching moments, Forged could have been beyond perfect. It was odd and momentarily disconcerting to all of a sudden being in another head; mostly mid-discussion. The switch would have me doubling back the last few paragraphs to see if I had read something too fast or read something different than what was written.

This books picks up where Stained ends so if you haven't read Stained, then, STOP; these books must be read in order.
Forged will draw you in and have you invested from the first chapter. Both Maddox and Harper have been through so much and my heart broke for them at times. Maddox is convinced that he doesn’t deserve to have Harper in his life.
Can he convince Harper that he is ready and all in for a relationship. Can he convince Harper to trust in his love for her? This was a roller coaster of a read and pulled my emotions in a number of directions.
A raw, gritty story and I am intrigued to see what Ms. Fields has in store for this couple.

This book picks up where book 1 ended. Maddox and Harper are still trying to find their way. Harper with her internship and Maddox with his Rock-God Stardom. But a series of events will alter their lives.

5 heartbreakingly beautiful stars. This book destroyed me. The trials, tribulations, heartbreak and tragedy leads to the ultimate ending…HOPE. Without hope, love, and healing there would be no future. Maddox and Harper grew so much in this book and it was a gift watching it play out. I can’t wait for the epic ending of their story.

This was such a good book! I loved Harper and Maddox, as well as both of their families. The book is a continuation of Stained, and takes up where it left off. Harper is pregnant, and Maddox wants to do everything in his power to win her back. Harper loves him, but she isn’t sure she can forgive him for the things that he’s done and the things he’s said. She’s also worried that he is only with her because she’s pregnant, and that’s the last thing she wants. Maddox definitely has his work cut out for him winning her back.
This book is extremely busy. It’s a never-ending, action packed, heartbreaking at times story. M.J. Fields really knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat, biting your nails, then screaming NO! and bawling your eyes out. Her writing style is engaging and entertaining, and she draws you into her world and makes you fall in love with the characters. I fell in love with Brody, Emma, Collin, Tessa, Maddox and Harper, and my heart broke for them all when it was all said and done.
The story was beautifully written, and I didn’t want the book to end. In fact, I kept pressing my screen trying to get just one more page with Maddox and Harper! I want to know what’s going to happen next with them and where things will go from here.

First off a HUGE thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC copy of this book to review for the blog tour :)
You ROCK!
What Harper & Maddox have been through, would certainly rock some relationships, even tear them apart.
This book is all about making that connection between soul mates stronger, not letting anything, ANYTHING, get in the way of their happily ever after.
As you can imagine after everything that happened in "Stained" Harper is keeping her distance, keeping her shield up and not letting anyone in. I admit what she did/didn't do to Maddox was wrong on her part, but she had her reasons and they were legitimate, I mean seriously, SEX ON LEGS, get your fricking act together, or you will lose the only love of YOUR LIFE.
Anyway now that's out of my system, you will be pre-warned that this will take you on an emotional rollercoaster, and take you to depths of heartache you may not have been before.
This is total devastation, but as a family, friends, a whole, stumble through the ruins and reunite, with long forgotten loved ones.
I do hope there is a 3rd as I do want Maddox & Harper to have their happily ever after, they deserve soo much more :)

I was given this book as an arc to review.
I happily give it 5 stars.
Where do I start.....This book was so amazing that I couldn't put it down. I truly felt for Maddox. How he had to overcome his struggles to win back his one true love Harper. At times I was in tears for him especially with how Harper was treating him. Guess you can say that I favored Maddox (can't help myself he's a hot sexy British rock star that knew all the right moves) Harper frustrated with her damn stubbornness. I hated what she did to him. The twist had me gasping with shock and the sex OMG the sex. I'd give anything to have my very own Maddox Hines. I highly recommend this book and am so looking forward to book 3.

OMG I just finished this beyond heart wrenching sexy as all book and I still can't stop crying I feel so emotionally drained but loved every freaking second of this book .<<< 333 there are not enough stars on here for MJ's books I finished this book about 2:00 am on Friday I'm still feeling num if that's even the right word from start to finish I could not put it down. MJ Fields writes with such passion for all the characters you feel like your in the story with them all.<<33 my heart is still feeling split in two from this book but I wouldn't have it any other way (: can't wait for book Three I'm guessing it will be another all nighter . I loved jumping back into this world. Bella and Maddox have been through so very much in their lives. So much of it is heartbreaking and I found myself on the verge of tears for them.Maddox hasn't been coping with those past pains at all very well with all the sex, drugs and rock and roll. But he knows that something is missing in his life and he wants that something or rather someone back in his life. For the past five years she has had his heart in the palm of her hands. No matter how hard he tried he has never been able to forget her and get her out of his head. However he knows that she is way to good for him (I don't know that I would agree with that statement at all), and he knows that she deserves the best things in her life. However he is tired of fighting the way he feels for her and wants her back. Harper is a girl with a life altering secret as far as Maddox is concerned. But before that she was always so super worried all the time about disappointing her family. When the thing she feared most in her life comes to fruition she is so thankful to have Maddox in her life and he quickly becomes her rock. But when the family is gone and Maddox feels like everything is going to be ok. But she has other plans. She can't trust him. She has always been able trust her friend Blake. I loved Maddox and Harper and oh what a story they have to tell.

Box of tissues wasn't enough! Maddox is my #1 book boyfriend, crush & all around Man lol... so im bias when ever it comes to him. With that said, Forged is book 2 in the Burning Souls series. It's all about how Harper & Maddox truly become one...& dealing with so much heartbreak along their path. I truly do not & will not spoil anything in this book although it's a re-write MJ chose to do so im sure many already know the details. MJ gives us more perspective into the characters thought & feeling in the version which i LOVE!! The feelings they deal with, the heartbreak & love they endure is beyond anything my heart can handle. I had to put my book down to give my soul a break at times, but i would't change a thing. Thank you Mj for giving us so much more of Maddox & Harpers love... i can't wait until Book 3!!!!

Please make sure you have read Stained before picking up Forged because this book continues right where book one finished and they do need to be read in order.

My heart is breaking for Maddox and Harper. No one should have that much loss and pain in their lives. What these two have been through. Their love is the strongest bond, holding them together.
The tears I have cried reading this book. MJ Fields has written such an amazing journey for these two characters. The love they share goes beyond forever. It is rare and should be cherished. Most don’t get to experience this kind of love. They have both grown up and matured. Some of their growing up was fast because of circumstances beyond their control. Their story will grab you and never let go. Curious to see where life takes them next.

4 stars. Great flow, easy read, hard to put down. Maddox & Harper go through more rough and devastating times as do the entire family. There is a lot of healing that needs to take place, but Maddox nor Harper gives up on each other and fight for their love. All of both families are together in most of this book which I loved. Sex scenes got a little long and skim worthy on parts but all in all, I enjoyed the continuation of this series and encourage others to read all the series. I can’t write much more without giving out too much information and spoilers.

Almost there!
Maddox and Harper's HEA is coming soon. They are almost there. But, I'm sure there will be more hurdles to climb in book III. Book II in the series was hitting every button imaginable that was painful for this couple and their families. And they still made it. That's the power of their love for each other. Lets see if the next installment in the series make or break this couple. I doubt it will break them, but you never know. I'm on to the next read in order to find out! In the meantime, I highly recommend this series! ENJOY!

This next installment was a pretty good read but it left me wanting the final installment!
This emotionally charged read takes us through the heartbreak that leads this pair to becoming a strong pairing. Maddox and Harper's journey showed the reader what the pair had been through as well as how they became who they are.

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Forged this is book 2 in the Burning Souls series . This story is outstanding . While it's not for the faint of heart it's a Sensational story . It's emotional and heartbreaking but it's the love story of Maddox and Harper . This story will take you on a emotional ride . I could not put it down . This story broke my heart in the best of ways . I recommend tissues alot of tissues . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Come take this roller coaster ride of emotions. If you want a book that will make you laugh, make you smile, make you cry and then make you do all of it again this is your book. The love and hearts of these characters is unbeatable. Maddox has matured into the man he is meant to be. The man Harper needs. Then you throw in Tessa, Collin, Brody, Emma, Lexington and of course London and you have a winner on your hands. With a little comic relief from Ava and Jade. Absolutely love this book!

Another roller coaster ride of emotions, that will leave you reeling one minute and the next you will be so happy. I love this series and with each new book you will fall deeper in love with Maddox. Harper can get on your nerves, but then again, she is fierce and protective. I look forward to the next book.

Poor Maddox and Harper. They can’t catch a break. This was heartbreaking and tragic. But it looks like Harper and Maddox are so strong. They will overcome the obstacles that keep being thrown in their way, and will end up in an even egged place than before.
