CANADIAN SECURITIES AND CANADIAN INVESTORS: A DATA BREAKDOWN
Statistics Canada reported that foreign investors reduced their holdings of Canadian securities by $22.3 billion in September, the largest divestment since December 2018. The divestment focused on federal government debt securities and chartered bank shares.
