Edge and Telco predictions for 2024. The number of edge deployments is on the rise. The convergence of various technologies, such as 5G infrastructure, hybrid and multi-cloud, and DevOps automation are stated as the driving factors for expansion at the edge, in the recent article by The Fast Mode (https://lnkd.in/d6sq4hMr). Additionally, they point out that ongoing technological advancements are catalyzing the emergence of new types of applications that demand secure processing and low-latency communication. We already see more edge applications being driven by 5G deployments, in industries such as logistics, manufacturing, smart infrastructure, aviation, mining, and more. The growing popularity of 5G among enterprises can be attributed to its support for low-latency connectivity, massive IoT, and private networks. Reflecting on our recent achievements ✨ In an interview with the Independent Logistics Society, our co-founder and CSO Aleksandar Bogoevski discussed the benefits of our solution portfolio and shared his thoughts on the company’s success during the 5G Challenge. “Our Orchestra solution focuses on solving three of the main challenges surrounding 5G technology at the moment: security, scalability, and interoperability. […] At the same time, we are building a platform that can seamlessly integrate the worlds of Operational Technology and Information Technology, allowing multiple systems, from multiple vendors, to work together toward the unified goal of optimizing operations. […] With Orchestra, onboarding new devices is done with a single line of code. And once onboarded, this device can be monitored and accessed remotely from anywhere in the world, without the hassle of dedicated VPNs or having to handle multiple credentials and access keys.
