I love this author but whew the dots didn't connect for me with this one. 2.5*

Willow is the daughter of Nico and Sophie, she's a serial dater as she knows the kind of love she's looking for. She's remained friends with quite a few of her exes.
Clay and his brothers have been on a mission for years to right the wrong done to their sister and to help other women in the same situation.
One chance encounter changes both of their lives

*******
Dear author, this next generation are children of literal bad asses.....can we get that reflected please? Cuz ain't no way the child of a Mayson is in trouble and her dad's away and that's it? Where are her uncles, brothers, cousins, her family's badass spouses? Nobody???? Seriously 😒
There was also just a lot going on man
I like the bossy possessive H's this author delivers but ion like some of this guy's moves, also does he know Alpha males don't give up their women? Asking for a friend
I hope the H's brothers get their own stories
There's more but at the end I'm just dissatisfied 😒🙄🤷🏾‍♀️

No cheating
We're told the H was a kinda player but not really shown
His brother's wife tried some shit
h was a serial dater but she didn't have sex with all her boyfriends

I love that the heroine have many ex boyfriend that shows up and that made the hero so jealous and more possessive 😜😆 Because I always like ALL THE TIME read other books that the hero have ex girlfriend or fvck buddy that shows up😒 And sometimes even more than one and worst, they actually kissed or do something. When if the heroine’s ex boyfriend or ex fvck buddy shows up, they only just touch the heroine’s arms or basically just say hi. So for the heroine here to have that instead of the hero, what a relief 😍😍😍 Seriously a relief!!!

As always, this author story especially these series goes well with me. Like the beginning of the story is so fun to read and not boring! It just made sense to me and made me want to read it even more!

If you never read from this author then go ahead and try. I like this series even more than the old one. The old one which is the parents from this series, i only liked UNTIL NICO. The other ones, not so much… This author always delivered great safe love story with a little mystery that can make you more curious about the story. And the happy ending with the epilogue is so great!!!

If i read a bad book, i always go for this author cause its safe and also entertaining book. I wish the hero is more possessive though but its possessive enough though😁

This story starts with the heroine is going to a liquor store to buy herself a wine. When she was finished and head out from the store, she saw two guys was circling her car. Confused, she was about to ask them why they were doing that. When suddenly the hero comes up to the heroine and pretend to ask her “there you are babe”. Stunned, the heroine was about to ask the hero who are you when the hero immediately go ahead and kissed her…. And that’s when the story begins! 😍

‼️‼️‼️stalker, killing, death, high on violence, hold hostage, bad past, ptsd, kidnapping and human trafficking.

‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING AND NO SEPARATION

‼️‼️‼️LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. More like electricity!!!

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS EX GIRLFRIEND FROM THE HERO THAT SHOWS UP BUT ONLY ONE TIME. BUT NOT TOO ANNOYING AND NOT TOO MUCH. AND ALSO THAT EX IS ALREADY MARRIED WITH HIS OWN BROTHER… THE HEROINE HAVE THREE OR FOUR GUYS OF HER EX THAT SHOWS UP COUPLE OF TIMES BUT AGAIN, ALL OF IT IS NOT TOO MUCH AND NOT TOO ANNOYING….

‼️‼️‼️DUAL POV

‼️‼️‼️NO VIRGINS

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE MILLIONAIRE ALPHA MALE.

The hero is not a manwhor3.

NOT TOO OVER THE TOP POSSESSIVE THOUGH…

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE is very kind and friendly person. She’s sassy though and stubborn… I love that she always stand up for herself even to the hero!

‼️‼️‼️OF COURSE THE HEROINE’S SIBLINGS AND TWIN AND PARENTS SHOWS UP… But not her uncles… Hopefully i can see that in the near future though🥺🥺🥺 Wishful thinking😆😆

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS OBSESSED WITH THE HEROINE…. he always chase her around when she always pushes him away 😂 even at the place she worked at lol.

‼️‼️‼️MANY JEALOUS SCENES FROM THE HERO AND LITTLE FROM THE HEROINE…

‼️‼️‼️THE CHEMISTRY IS NICE AND STRONG AND ROMANTIC 😍😍😍

‼️‼️‼️Also there a scenes where the hero’s niece is so cute and spending time with the couple. The niece is sooo cute! She’s adorable🥺 I’m a sucker for little children lol

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE PUSHES THE HERO AWAY LIKE COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE BEGINNING… BUT THE HERO NEVER PUSH THE HEROINE AWAY. AND ALL OF IT IS NOT TOO MUCH AND NOT TOO ANNOYING….

‼️‼️‼️VERY HOT SMUT SCENES FROM THE COUPLE…

NOT TOO EXTREME THOUGH BUT IT’S HOT ENOUGH 😜

‼️‼️‼️LOCATION: NASHVILLE

‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING.

👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽Thank you so much for reading my review❤️❤️ For you who loves my review and follow it, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I did not get paid or be told to do a review on a book. I’m here just to write review about a book so i can remember it. Its my honest opinion😚 I didn’t know at first people will find me and follow me and trust me to be honest, I was surprised myself to look at the notifications from people who reach out to me😆 So everything i write down here on a review is based on my personal opinion and based on my true writing. I DID NOT COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW OR WRITING SKILL because at first when i was using this app for one year i didn’t know how to scroll down on a book and see the reviews from others😂😅🤣 I know, silly me but hey I finally learned my lesson 😛😛😛 Thats why when people assume i copy someone’s review i was like what? Because at first i didn’t know how to use this app properly and i didn’t know how to open someone’s review because for a year i never follow someone or add friends or someone😂😂😂🤣 (I’m laughing so hard) 🤪 AND I NEVER COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW EVER. IF I WRITE SOMETHING WRONG OR DOESN’T MAKE SENSE PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND BE NICE OKAY. 👈🏽👈🏽👈🏽✋🏽✋🏽 IF YOU'RE BEING MEAN AND NEGATIVE ALREADY WITH A WARNING AND NOT BEING WISE TO ME, I WILL NOT ENTIRELY READ YOUR COMMENT AND REMOVE YOU EASILY AND FAST. I DO NOT TOLERATE NEGATIVE COMMENT SO KNOW YOUR PLACE, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I’m writing my disclaimer again here cause many negative people still don't get it or still be stupid enough not to understand my POV when I already write it so many times before. So here I am writing it again to you beautifuls human being😁😁 WHEN YOU READ MY LONG OR SHORT REVIEW, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT WHAT I LIKE ABOUT A STORY AND CHARACTERS RIGHT... IF YOU DON'T KNOW THEN HERE IT IS: I LIKE A BOOK WITH VERY POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE ALPHA MALE, NO CHEATING, AND PLEASE NO MANWHOR3, NO MANY PUSHING AWAY, NO DOORMAT HEROINES, NO MANY OW DRAMA, NO S3X SCENE WITH SOMEONE ELSE. AND SAFE ALL THE WAY AND A HAPPY ENDING. Something that I don't like it very much if the hero or heroine have a crazy fvcked up personality and likes. Example: killing someone and let the heroine watch it all and push the heroine to lick all the blood of his victim and made her have to eat the meat of humans. and fvcks many woman in front of the heroine while telling her he loves her. I DON'T LIKE THAT TYPE OF SH*T AT ALL. That's just who I am, that's what I like and I don't like on a book. Maybe you love that, but I don't. We humans are different, we think very differently from one another. You have your likes and I have mine, you have your opinions and I have mine of my own. You think it's stupid of me to love such a book or to not love a book or to hate it whatever lol, I think it's bad you think that way cause I respect people's opinions cause I know for a fact we have our differences. YOU AND ME ARE DIFFERENT FOR PETE'S SAKE. I even have my own friends or people I follow here that shows how much they don't like the book I like, I never even give them a long comment or short Comment. Cause I respect their opinions. I don't like to give people I hard time here cause life itself is already hard enough. I do respect your opinion if you say my review is bad or whatever negative things about it, but in the end of the day I will not changed my mind about what book I dislike and how my thoughts about it. You can't tell me what to do. You can give me advice but it's me who decided to know what's right for me, this is my life and not yours. Read that again. Don’t assume things about me that is not even real, just don’t. cause when you do you’re more small minded for sure. You're thinking why I'm telling you all of this when you already know? Is because you still hating on my opinions and don't understand my POV and don't respect my POV. You think i like writing this disclaimer when obviously you're an adult already? no i personally think this is unnecessary... but because there are people out there who still don't get it *rolling my eyes*. Hopefully they or the people who read this disclaimer can use a beautiful thing called a brain:) AND WHEN YOU READ MY REVIEW, READ IT VERY CLEARLY TO SEE IF I FINISHED THE BOOK OR NOT. KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. AND YES ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE. BUT IF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M WRITING, THEN IT MEANS YOU UNDERSTAND IT ENOUGH. I DO NOT TOLERATE BULLYING, NEGATIVE COMMENTS AND MEAN WORDS. PLEASE USE A WISE WORDS SO WE DON'T ATTACK EACH OTHER. SIMPLY, I DON’T LIKE TO HAVE AN ARGUMENT WITH STRANGERS LIKE YOU CAUSE I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO😚 BUT IF YOU STILL WANT TO BE AMBER HEARD KARENS THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND MY DISCLAIMER AFTER I JUST WRITE IT DOWN, THEN GO ENJOY YOUR DAY AND GO AWAY. IT'S VERY EASY FOR A HUMAN COULD DO YA KNOW. IF YOU STILL HERE HATING ME OR ANNOYED WITH ME, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM. NOT ME PROBLEM. HASHTAGS BURN😂😂 DON'T TAKE THINGS TOO PERSONALLY ON ONLINE CAUSE WE ALL A STRANGERS, WE NEVER EVER MEET. WE'RE ADULTS HERE SO LETS BE WISER. LAST, I BLOCK NEGATIVE PEOPLE! SO GET WELL SOON TO THE HATERS. HOPEFULLY YOUR HEART AND MIND WILL BE MORE POSITIVE 🙏🙏🙏 AND THIS DISCLAIMER MAY SEEMS LIKE TOO HARSH ON YOU BUT HEY I DON'T LIKE TO SUGAR COATED THINGS. I LIKE TO SAY TO THE POINT WITH MY UNDERSTANDING AND MY OWN THOUGHTS, CAUSE THAT'S HOW HUMANS ARE. WE ARE DIFFERENT REMEMBER👍 HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!

Nothing sucks more than when you don’t love a book by one of your favorite authors. I found Until Willow lackluster and even the Mayson family couldn’t save it. I don’t really know if I ever liked Willow and that’s where a lot of my issues with this book lie.

She came off as extremely flakey and a bit of a mess. She ran at the slightest hint of Clay making a move on her. Was this the same girl who said that she wanted someone who was all about her? I really didn’t understand her. Clay was cool for the majority of the book, but he did come out of pocket a few times. We all have pasts that shape us, but you can’t handle your fears with extreme actions like that.

Speaking of our main characters, I didn’t really feel the BOOM. I wanted to feel that booming attraction that we have with previous books and that was missing here. It was a relationship based on looks and lust. He didn’t even know about her siblings despite spending different scenes together.

If you are a reader of this series then you know the love interest is always getting kidnapped or in some kind of trouble. That part stayed true, however, it felt rushed and a bit left field. There wasn’t enough build up or clues to even piece together who the bad guy would be.

All in all, this one was a miss for me. I saw a post on Facebook that Clay’s brothers would be getting books, but if I’m being honest I’d be only interested in reading about Miles.

Willow Mason lives in Nashville, and loves her job as the head investment manager at the local bank. She comes from a big loving family, but hasn’t yet found her happily ever after. She isn’t having any luck with love or dating, and then one kiss changes everything when she crosses paths with a sexy stranger.

Clay Raven doesn’t do relationships or attachments. He doesn’t have to answer to anyone, and that’s just how he likes it. Then he meets a beautiful woman that he finds intriguing and challenging. He can’t quit thinking about her and is determined to explore their chemistry. He believed if you truly want something, you have to fight for it, and he’s ready to do whatever it takes to be with Willow.

Willow doesn’t know what it is about Clay, but he’s different than any of the other men she’s dated. He’s a bit overwhelming, comes on too strong, but he makes her feel safe and cared for. He soon becomes her comfort in all the recent chaos surrounding her. She’s tried to avoid their connection, but as he pursues her she can’t help being completely consumed.

I have been obsessed with all the words from the beautiful Aurora Rose Reynolds since I first picked up Until November. And with each book my obsession just keeps getting stronger. An added bonus is that after following her online for years she is just as beautiful a person inside and out as the amazing work she produces. Which makes me just want to scream from the rooftops even more how badly everyone needs to read these books.

Until Willow is a really typical book for this series, and I couldn't be happier to get my grabby hands on it. It literally has everything I could want in a book. The heroine is smart, capable and a beautiful person you just want to be besties with. The hero is all growly, protective, possessive alpha who is all about Willow from the first page. The secondary characters are awesome, even the ones that aren't Mayson's. And the storyline is completely engrossing. Oh, and let's not forget the cute as a button child and a few adorable pooches to make it perfect.

Clay was everything you could want and despite him having a few overbearing moments where I wanted to help Willow unman him, he was perfect. And I loved that he owned up to those moments and kinda apologised. And Willow didn't let him get away with it for a second, but she did let him explain and was forgiving and understanding. The whole book was just perfect.

I am so excited to hear that Clay's brothers are getting their own books. I mean let's be honest we are nearly out of Mayson's as well, so we are going to need some new bad arse men and some women to own them. The only bad thing about this book is that I've finished it and now I have to wait for the next one.

I literally want to murder this book. It's not only a crappy book, but the AUDIO is so horrendous that I felt really stabby at the end of it. Crucial, life-altering audio info below.

Willow (Nico's alleged daughter, banker, prude) is on her way home when someone might or might not be trying to kidnap her is seen near her car. Clay (looking for the killer of his foster sister, along with his foster brothers). Clay walks up and kisses her to scare the guys away. Sure, that's the best way to accomplish that. We actually never find out what those guys were doing. Nothing happens and it's a really freaking weird addition to this stupid story. Anyway... One of Willow's co-workers wants to go on a date with a guy she met online and wants Willow to come along as support. While there, every indication is given that the blind date has roofied Willow and her roommate. Clay happens upon the same bar and sees an unconscious Willow being loaded into a car. Obvi he takes her from the men and takes her to his house. So you're trying to convince me that Willow Mayson..... daughter of Nico Mayson...... beloved and protected female member of the Mayson family.... wakes up unable to remember ANYTHING about the night before, knows she's never drunk alcohol to excess, out with people she doesn't know, found unconscious and being loaded into a car... and she not only doesn't want to go to the doc to be checked out, but she doesn't want to tell her dad??? ON WHAT PLANET DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?! If you know anything about the Mayson family, you know this would never happen. Plus, there are several times in the book where she could use help and even though her parents are out-of-town, she has uncles and cousins that are all just as protective as Nico. She would know to keep them informed of what's going on.

The story doesn't really make a lot of sense to me. Clay and his brothers are on this mission to shut down this sex trafficking ring that their foster sister ended up in. The brothers all argue. There's some drama about one of them having a wife that tried to seduce Clay. One of them has a daughter who is ANNOYING AS F*CK. Damn, I hate kids in books. In the end, they never make progress on any of that. What's the point of adding it to the book if that's not going to be the plot?

This is a spoiler, but since I hate this book and hope nobody ever reads it, I'm telling you anyway So the main thing that ends up happening in the book is the friend that went on the blind date is dead and so is the guy that she went out with. Turns out it's a creepy coworker that has nothing at all to do with the sex trafficking ring. Pick a plot!!!!

There's no sex!!! They have sex once at the 75% mark. It was just ok. I mean what the f*ck. Give me sex in books. This especially pisses me off because I just read Until November and it had so much sex!!! The further ARR got into the series, the less and less the characters had sex. I don't know what religion she found, if she became a born again virgin, or whatever. I wish she'd quit it and start hooking to get back into a sex fiend state of mind.

In summary - I hated this book, and it didn't help that the audio nearly sent me to an insane asylum.

Him. This is the first book I've heard narrated by Wayne Mitchell. His normal talking voice was deep, kinda hot-ish. But holy f*cking hell his female voice and kids voice MADE ME DIE ON THE INSIDE. I'm not joking. It was sooooooo bad. He honestly shouldn't be allowed to read female lines in books. Ever.

Her. Aure Nash. I hate her. Again, her normal talking voice is fine. The voice she uses for the kid, him, and when she f*cking giggles nearly had me running into traffic. OMG the f*cking giggling. I don't know why ARR likes her FMCs to giggle so damn much but it's one of my biggest complaints in every single one of her books. To add to that, this narrator also giggles. It's usually just a line, but she actually acts it out.

"I looked at him and giggled" (followed by the narrator actually giggling).

Sweet baby jesus in a bikini it was terrible.

Ok. I'm so glad this is over.

This is a hard book for me to rate because while I was reading it I was enjoying the stories and getting to know the characters. But once I finished I realized that there were a few too many things that had just been glossed over, especially with Clay and his past. In the beginning it sounded like his job and his brothers were more interesting than they ended up being and that was a little disappointing. I'm sure there's a lot more to come from his brothers, but for him and this book it just wasn't enough information to keep me captivated.

Again, the overall story was good and I did like Willow and Clay together. I'm excited to see what else will come from the FBI/trafficking storyline too.

Good story.
J/pull Hero.
The story starts with the heroine on a date with her boyfriend and she decides to call it quits.
She has a history of dating a lot, not having sex with them but ending the relationship as it's not working then becoming their friend, walking their dog, meeting once a month for a meal etc.
During the book the Hero meets several of them, and that's quite funny.

The Hero is previously described as a player, no woman sticks, the accusation comes from his 'brother' as the brother's wife made an accusation that he was intimate with her. The Hero says she threw herself at him and he turned her down.

There is mention of sex trafficking, a missing girl and a past traumatic history for the Hero.

No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.

HEA.
Epilogue.

Lots of Mayson scenes and possible introduction of the Hero's family for books.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

2.5-3 stars?

I dunno, guys, I really dunno...

I seriously dunno what to say here.

Because in theory this book had everything I look for in a nice, easy romance:
- a damsel in distress? ✔
- a hot alpha hero with eyes only for the heroine? ✔
- a bit of a mystery element with a tad of suspense? ✔
- the hero doing all the chasing? ✔✔✔

And I absolutely loooooved Clay Raven, our hero.
Because how could I not?
A protective alpha dog who goes out of his way to get the woman he wants?
To protect her from the danger?
Damn, he was my absolute favourite here.

So, why not 5?

Well, because I absolutely could not stand Willow, our heroine.

She was simply annoying af.

A weird mixture of miss goody-two-shoes and a complete airhead, miss wishy washy who clearly liked the attention of men and yet was never getting anywhere serious with that string of guys because she didn't know what she wanted.

And yet somehow it was never her fault.
*insert multiple eye rolls here

She kept bitching about how she wanted to be the guy's no 1 priority but when she got that from Clay, she suddenly decided that it wasn't what she signed up for.
Are you fucking kidding me here?
I seriously lost count how many times I just wanted to hit her on the head with her own book.

So yeah, I didn't like her.

But I liked the storyline and I loved Clay so I'm rounding it up because all in all it was an okay read.
But that was not my favourite.

4.5 Willow and Clay Stars

I have long been anticipating this latest release in the Until Him /Her series and it did not disappoint. These books are all about the high passion , insta lust /love , full on drama and a very alpha male swooping in to save the day - despite the heroine being a strong , independent woman. I love it and devour these books as soon as they are released. The Mayson Family ties are strong.

Willow is the daughter of Nico and Sophie (Until Nico) and we have seen her appear in other books featuring her siblings and cousins. There are a lot of books in the series but they all stand as robust standalone novels in their own right. (See the end of my review for a guide).

Willow is fiercely independent and is really likeable as a heroine. She dates guys and somehow stays friends with them after. This is a really entertaining topic when she first meets up with Clay. As a Hero , Clay is full on alpha. If you have read these books , you will be well used to the type of male main character Aurora Rose Reynolds writes. In real life it would be too much but in the Until Him/ Her world it works - that said, I suspect there is one scene that will cause some discussion and dissent amongst some readers...just remember ,this is fiction.

Clay has a traumatic childhood backstory and the bond he has with his brothers is strong. I really, really hope that they get a story each. This book is very much about family and the emphasis is that families can look different to different people. I would urge you to read the Author's note at the end of the book.

Clay and Willow go so well together. Their's was not as 'insta' as some of the loves in other books in the series and it worked well for them. The pace was good and there was just enough drama to keep you guessing who the baddie was.

HEA? Yes - gorgeous epilogue 5 years in the future.
Cheating? No
Be aware

Willow is the daughter of Nico and Sophie (Until Nico.

Willow's twin Sister is Harmony , (Until Harmony).
Her other siblings are Nalia, Sage (twins) (Until Sage) , Bax and Talon (Until Talon).

The order of reading for the siblings /cousins , (they read fine as standalone's ) are :

Until July (July and Wes 4 Stars- July is a Veterinarian. Wes is a hot biker/ ex veteran).

Until Jax (Jax and Ellie 5 Stars- Single Parent)

Until June (June and Evan 5 Stars- Second Chance Romance /Ex military)

Until Ashlyn (Ashlyn and Dillon 5 Stars - Workplace Romance)

Until Sage (Sage and Kim 3.5 Stars - Enemies to Lovers Romance)

Until Harmony (Harmony and Harlen 5 Stars- Sunshine /Grumpy Romance)

Until Cobi (Cobi and Hadley 4 Stars - Opposites Attract **This is the only one where I would suggest reading Until Harmony first as Cobi starts where Harmony ends).

Until December (December and Gareth 5 Stars - Single Dad / Teacher & Kindle obsessed heroine. Good grovel by Hero).

Until Talon (Talon and Mia 4.5 Stars - Swoony alpha to the rescue).

Until April (April and Maxim - 4 Stars- Teenage crush / Feisty heroine/ Re connection)

Until May (May and Aiden- 4.5 Stars Ex Athlete romance)

Until Willow

Willow

Clay and willow. I simply adored Clay and willow. Auora writes the most wonderful books. She writes the kind of books that you can't put down. Willow meets Clay the first time he's in a parking lot of a liquor store. Willow goes in to buy wine. As she walks through the parking lot he grabs her and kisses her. And not just any kiss.

4.5 ⭐️

Until Willow is Clay and Willow’s love story. Their meet cute is very unique - Willow is coming out of a store when she sees two strange men by her car. Clay comes out of nowhere and pretends to be her boyfriend by kissing her out of nowhere. Willow is stunned, but totally into it.

Willow finds herself running into Clay and needing him, so they form a sort of friendship. Clay seems smitten with Willow from the very beginning, even though he is 100% against relationships. Even with that mindset, he continually pursues Willow and let’s her know what he wants: HER.

Willow is hesitant as she doesn’t have the best track record with the men she dates. She ends up breaking up with them and then becoming good friends. But when she finally allows herself to open herself up to Clay, she goes all in with him.

Until Willow gives us some unexpected suspense for the very beginning, which I loved. But let me tell you - I was hesitant to trust ANY of the characters (except for Willow) until closer to the end. I didn’t trust Clay, Leah, Carly, Matthew, his friends, Clay’s brothers, Willow’s coworkers, NO ONE. But once we finally find out everything, it was easier to fall in love with the innocent characters.

I hope we see more of Clay’s brothers in the future!

Review: Until Willow.
(Until Him/Her #12)
By: Aurora Rose Reynolds.
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
ARC Copy.

This series! The Mayson clan is one of my favorite book families to read about. They are the type of family to always be there when you need them. And that’s the type of family people need.

Until Him/Her series is a spin-off to The Until Series, which is about the parents of the Him/Her kids. I first read both series long before I became a bookstagramer, so I we pretty excited to arc read this! Aurora gave this book life! Willow and Clay were a perfect couple!

You could feel the chemistry between these two characters! Like all of the other men in this series, Clay checks all of the boxes! He deserves all of the happiness life can give him. And Willow! Love her character, I feel like a lot of people can relate to her. Change is hard and it’s scary to put yourself out there, especially when you know that person is what you long for but it scares you at the same time. But luckily! Clay wasn’t going to take no for an answer. I seriously cannot wait for the next Until book! I highly recommend this book/series.

I wasn’t going to read this after May’s book… it was so boring… but I just read Before We Fall, and that H (Tucker) was Clay’s (this H) bro, so I was curious. Although it wasn’t as tedious as the last book… it wasn’t really enjoyable either.

First, it feels like ARR is giving these recent h’s new personalities… and they aren’t good. Case in point… April was outspoken and defiant until her book where she just sat back and allowed Maxim to lead her. May was April’s roommate/bestie and gave it right back to her until her book where she was wimpy, insecure, and quiet. Willow was confident and badass until this book. Now she’s a “mouse” scared of risking her heart and a runner…ugh she’s Nico’s daughter!! She should be tough and smart.

My biggest grump was that the plot was all over the place. It felt like she had a lot of ideas (including introducing another spinoff) but wasn’t sure how to tie them all together, so we’re left with several random events strung together with no connection. Numerous plot holes and bits that weren’t thought out.

For example,

Bottom Line- This was a mess. Another slow burn with a skittish h that takes 75% to get to any smut. Very little drama, and so much unnecessary filler. I’m sticking a fork in this series, but I did enjoy Tucker’s book where he also had a different (although better) personality. He was a prick in this one.

Random- The timeline was off. The bro’s book overlaps this because he gets the call that his wife is having an affair. But in his book, Willow is pregnant and here they don’t have a baby until 4 years later.

I usually arc this author and they always say ignore the grammar errors because it's unedited. I bought the book this time because I missed the arc opportunity, and can I just say...how did this book get published? The grammar errors are abundant. That might be something I can TRY to overlook when arc reading but a published work should not be this hard to read.
The storyline was okay. It was slow burn but also rushed. I don't know how that's even possible. I guess it's a romance because two people fell in love within the story, but it really wasn't focused on that.
I keep reading this author because I've really enjoyed her books in the past. But this ain't it, and I've felt that way about a lot of her books recently. I don't know if finding one diamond in a sea of coal is worth my time (and in this case my money) anymore. 2½ stars

2.5 stars!

Willow is Nico's daughter and hasn't found the one. She is a serial dater and it's hard not to run into her ex-boyfriends. Clay and his brothers have been trying to make up for what happened to their sister and are on a mission to save women in bad situations. When Willow and Clay cross paths, their lives change forever. But neither do relationships no matter how much chemistry they have. Or do they?

If you like Aurora's past books in this next generation series, you'll most likely like this. However, I found Willow's serial dating off putting and I found her too indifferent at times. I liked Clay but he wasn't alpha enough for me. It felt like Aurora was trying to make sure he wasn't...offensive? I don't know. I don't read romance for half asked alpha males. If you're gonna make a hero an alpha, MAKE HIM AN ALPHA. Her recent heroes, including this one, don't come close to Nico, etc.

Clay had a really traumatizing past and it was touched on so briefly, it probably should have just been eliminated from the story. There were a lot of moving parts in this book and Willow seemed kind of weak. However, I did like when she finally came to her senses about what she wanted.

Overall, this was a little smutty (more a slow-burn), a little angsty, and a little suspenseful but it didn't really work for me.

3.5 ⭐️

I finished another until, and I'm so happy I've been waiting for Willow for a while, and it's her turn. It wasn't my favorite but it was an enjoyable read. Willow is a serial dater and kinda ends up staying friends with the guys she dates. So you'll see her exs pop in they aren't a threat there just there. As Willow is leaving a date, she sees 2 guys near her car, and before she can panic or do anything, enters Clay to her resuce by pretending to be her boyfriend and kisses her. And from that moment, he is stunned and obessed with her he makes sure she gets home safe and always checks in on her, lol. As for Willow, she feels something, but she runs she doesn't know what to think about this guy. Also, he's very mysterious. There is a point in the book where he backs off and doesn't chase her letting her take a breather and collect her thoughts he doesn't wanna be the chaser he knows what he wants but he won't fight for someone who doesn't want him. Which I loved and hated.. since I love a dom man. Glad she came to her senses fast.

Om tiny drama (ex showed up), no cheating, slight secondary character, drama, sexy times, no virgins (h is a dater so we see her on few dates)

Recommend-yes
Cover-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Heat level-🌶🌶

Slowburnish
Push/pull from h
Violence
Tiny tiny separation (few days)
No condom

BOOM! I was so excited to get another book in the Until series, this family is one of my favorites of all time. I adore the writing of Ms. Reynolds, she said quite a few times how much she loved writing Willow’s book, and it shows, this book was amazing.

Willow shares a kiss with a stranger that steps in when she could be in danger. Clay, as soon as he see’s Willow, he’s gone for her with one look. She’s not sure if she can put her heart on the line and Clay has no desire to be tied down, until Willow.

I totally and completely recommend this book, their story if full of heat, back and forth banter, those alpha vibes we have come to love with this family and some mystery and intrigue.

4 solid stars! Like all the books in the series, Until Willow is a true love story that is equal parts sweet, steamy and emotionally satisfying. I can’t get enough of the Maysons!

Willow’s story is so great!!! The way she meets Clay & their runs ins have me completely entertained. The chemistry, the push & pull was wonderfully written. Another great until book written by ARR!! I just love this new group of guys & I want to see more, so much more from these side characters.
I highly recommend this book. Told in dual POV.

Willow and Clay

The story, I think, was good enough, but I felt that Willow cried all the time! And I wasn't a fan of the way Clay said he was done and just left Willow.

This BOOM hit different. Clay's story made my heart hurt. I'm usually more emotional about the h but I was not expecting the way this book made me feel for the H. It was a great read, I'm looking forward to the new series with a few characters from this book. I always love how Aurora includes a pet and kids in her books.

I love the Until Him/Her series by Aurora Rose Reynolds and this book did not disappoint. She creates such great dirty talking alpha heroes that fall easily and have a protective streak a mile long. Clay is no exception and Willow is a feisty, strong heroine who is his perfect match. This book had me engaged from the first word to the last with a plot that was entertaining, steamy, and intriguing. If you love strong main characters that have interesting back stories and a host of secondary characters that enhance the story line, then this may be the book for you. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. 4.5⭐️s

I find it rare to see a heroine who have men falling at her feet in a book and I really like it. It's usually the hero the has all the women and call me hypocritical, but I much prefer to see the hero get jealous.

I really enjoyed this couple. There was one incident that wasn't a huge deal but it was something I would have preferred to have been reversed and that is the only reason this one didn't win 5 stars for me.

Overall, a really good read!

Another amazing 5 star story from ARR!!! I adored Willow and Clay so much. It seems like with every story I fall more and more in love with the characters. I fell in love with clay the minute you meet him. He is for sure the alpha male hero that you come to expect from the until books. Willow is hard headed but so dang sweet. They are the perfect match. I loved getting to meet clays brothers and it opened a door to a whole new set of characters! I didn’t want clay and Willows story to end!!! I can’t wait for the next ARR book!!!!

Dec 14 Wednesday — My initial rating is a conditional “5” because I want to re-read Harmony’s book (which I also gave 5 stars to). I want to judge for myself which story I love more. Will be back with a better review after my re-read. 😁

Dec 16 Friday — Harmony’s story and Willow’s story are very different. Both are definitely 5-star reads for me. Harmony’s story has a stronger Boom! And has more action and spice. While Willow’s story has more heart tugging moments and humor. Fans of ARR’s style of writing and fans of the Mayson clan would be delighted either way.

Well I had another leading man from this series that I totally fell for. Clay hits all the marks: tall, dark, handsome, protective, and caring. Willow meets her match with stubbornness and finally meeting someone that puts her first. Their relationship begins unconventionally with Clay working undercover to help the local police department. Eventually Willow finds herself in a position that a big strong man around isn't a bad idea. These two were sweet and sensational.
