Our smooth cashew butter is made using 96% cashews and a dash of sunflower oil. The cashews are roasted, then ground to produce a perfectly smooth texture.

Cashews are technically not a nut but the seed of the cashew apple, a tree that grows in tropical climates for example South America, India and Africa.

Proudly certified palm oil free, we believe that delicious natural nut butters simply don't need to use it. So we don't, ever! Oil separation is natural, stir and enjoy!

Our cashew butters are naturally gluten and dairy free, contain no added sugar or salt and are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Tastes of sunflower oil and little else

I dont mind sunflower taste but its really overpowering and the only thing you can taste. I would say that one of the ingredients is also over roasted as has that bitter aftertaste but probably differs from batch to batch. A bit of a pointless product if you actually like taste of cashews. Wish Ocado would stop substituting my usual order with this.

Very delicious

My favorite nut butter. Great on toast, with apples, in oatmeal or even (on occasion) by the spoonful!

Lacking in Cashew flavour

It’s ok, lovely smooth texture and I will occasionally buy it but the Cashew flavour seems quite weak.

Almost tastes like plastic

This is not as good as the other Meridien nut butters and for me this sometimes almost tastes of plastic and can have an odd texture but maybe that's just how cashew butter is. Interesting to have as a change from almond butter but not really for me

so yummy

This was my first time trying cashew nut butter and I have become totally addicted to both the smooth and the crunchy one. I've now finished both jars and can't decide which I prefer most. based on reviews I'm now off to try Biona next.

I prefer the crunchy consistency but my children would only have smooth- its a staple
