Are you spending your gap year on a farm?

Register for the 4-day program designed to introduce you to the skills in working in farming. It’s a chance to meet other young people working across Eyre Peninsula, and to create networks with local industry leaders. This Program is suitable for those new to farming, or those wanting to start a career in farming.

The pilot program sponsored by AgInnovate will be held in Cleve, from Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th March (inclusive). It will lead young people interested in farming through a series of hands-on introductory training on livestock handling, machinery maintenance, GPS, work health and safety, and on-farm communication. Training will be delivered by local Cleve specialists, together with AgInnovate consultants, bringing a mix of practicality and the latest theory to the sessions.
