When my father tries to force me to marry one of his cronies, I run away to my half-brother's home.
He's the black sheep of the family, a biker, not an Irish mobster. At the Satan's Sinners' MC compound, I find more than I bargained for.
Not my brother, ironically, but a man who gives a whole other meaning to 'white knight.'
He's dark and mysterious, a seeker of answers and a finder of truths.
Even better? He offers me an out, a shotgun wedding in Vegas.
I just don’t realize he has an ulterior motive.
But he doesn’t know I have one too…

OMG, I loved this book! I've read several books by Serena Akeroyd, and I've loved them all, but I think this one is my new favorite! It was just so different than the regular mafia books because it was a mafia and motorcycle club story combined, and it captured my attention from the very beginning until the very end! It was really hard to put this one down to do regular, everyday stuff!

Digger and MaryCat were perfect together! Their mutual attraction was palpable, and their steamy times were hot, hot, hot! I honestly loved everything about this one, and it will definitely be one of my few re-reads! This one is a MUST read and highly recommended with a million stars!

Mary Catherine and Digger are gold!!! I just couldn’t love either of them more!MaryCat is a fighter. Brave and wise beyond her years. In an effort to escape her fathers plans for her future she ends up at the Sinners MC compound searching for her half brother. What she finds is her first crush from years back. MaryCat is blessed that Digger was on guard the day she showed. Or maybe it was fate? These two couldn’t be better suited. Digger is kind and respectful of women with a true sense of justice. Diggers’ back story explains a lot! LOVE a these two and how they empower one another and make one another stronger. Truly a beautiful couple. Digger is one of the best romantic heroes out there!

Digger and MaryCat have been sitting on the sidelines throughout the Five Points Mob Collection crossover universe having cameos here and there but now is their time to shine. They are a most unlikely pairing in that one of them is a virginal Five Pointer from Hell's Kitchen, New York and the other a jaded ex-con Satan's Sinner from West Orange, New Jersey. Let yourself be enchanted by Mary Catherine's sweetness and allow Digger to tantalize you with his filthy talk.

Mary Catherine has been crushing on Digger for the last five years, having seen him once when she was sixteen. Now that she's older, that crush may have kept her warm on lonely nights in her empty bed. Digger has never forgotten the girl with the strawberry blonde hair, but he knew she was off limits as his fellow Sinner brother's younger sister. When she shows up at the biker's compound looking for her older brother, Digger is manning the gates. Mary Catherine explains her extenuating circumstances to the handsome biker hoping for help locating Padraig. She's trying to escape from a forced marriage to a much older man while Digger becomes the slightly tarnished knight riding to her rescue on his custom Harley. His solution to her dilemma is a cross-country trip to Vegas, where they can visit a chapel to prevent her father from carrying out his plans. During the long ride, MaryCat gets to know her future husband much better, already having decided to enter into this marriage with her eyes wide open. In the Five Points there's no such thing as divorce and she's fine with keeping Digger for life. Little does she know that Digger has come to the same conclusion as her. He needs this sweet young woman in his life, and he's not letting her getaway. What ensues is an eye-opening experience for them both. They are tested time and time again, but they are steadfast in their decision to remain together. Now to convince opposing factions that it isn't necessary to start a war over what is sure to become love.

From sexy times filled with laughs to serious lessons learned, join this endearing couple on the ride of a lifetime. A filthy-talking Sinner meets an innocent Five Pointer who wants to be his Old Lady and live out their golden years riding on the back of his bike. Love and laughter fill the pages of this fabulous book that started as part of an anthology but grew to become a full-length story bound to steal your heart and make MaryCat and Digger one of your favourite couples in this universe.

AUDIOBOOK:
Joe Arden as Digger and Samantha Brentmoor as MaryCat bring Filthy Sinner to life. Together, these two amazing voices transport you on the ride of your life across the states to Vegas on the back of a vintage Harley. Digger may be a biker, but he is an honorable man. Joe Arden has the perfect gravelly voice to make you believe that he is that biker. Samantha Brentmoor gave MaryCat the lilt in her voice that you would expect of a Five Pointer. There are no two other people who could have made this book as life-like.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: heroine in peril, age-gap, sweet hero
Angst: 😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

Filthy Sinner is a gritty, but somewhat sweet and wonderfully written prequel novel set in the 5 Points Universe written by Serena Akeroyd and fits in right between Filthy and Nyx. The story is about James "Digger" Banks a member of the Satan's Sinners MC and Mary Catherine, cousin to mob royalty. When Mary Catherine is engaged to a man three times her age, she decides she's going to risk it all and search out her brother Padraig (Sin) at his clubhouse to see if he can help her, but everything doesn't go exactly as planned.

Such a fantastic read! I read the initial teaser for this book in the Naughty MC Christmas Anthology and was super excited to get to read the completed story. Filthy Sinner is super fast paced and we get Digger and MaryCat's story as well as the story behind the Sinners and the O'Donnellys working relationship. We get to see all our Akeroyd favorites as side characters again and it truly makes me want to start the series all over again from the beginning. Digger is the best. Truly a caring and considerate man considering the harsh life he's had. Just loved the story!

Be ready to fall in love with yet another Sinner in this amazing world from Serena! Digger is loyal, sweet, loving, caring but you cross anyone he cares about it and all bets are off. He will protect everyone he cares about with his last breathe!

Mary Catherine (MaryCat) has been stuck in her father’s Five Points world forever and now he is forcing his hand one more time and she refuses to accept and does the one thing she can manage and that is to run!

Sin from the Sinners MC is her half brother and he’s the only one she can think who will help her. She doesn’t find her brother but she find the next best thing Digger!

MaryCat has been dreaming about Digger since she saw him at 16 and their reunion is quite adorable for the circumstances. Digger will do anything for her and his commitment and dedication for her radiates off the pages.

Reading their story and experiencing their journey is mind blowing. Digger is what book boyfriends are made of and you will be swooning for him actions. MaryCat is hardcore too and she is not to be messed with. You will admire her strengths and her protectiveness for her man. As always, Serena’s books never disappoint and you will love every minute of their love story and the passion/action is true to the Sinners/Five Points tradition of powerful women who win their men’s hearts and bring them to their knees. Happy Reading!!

OMG!!! Serena, does not disappoint in the story of this power couple. Yes, Digger and MaryCat are a power couple like most of the couple's within the 5 Point/Sinner Universe. The young couple has their life together to work on showing each other what they are about. MaryCat and Digger, prove that love can be found even in the worst cases. I love the way MaryCat's character changes to show that she does have a backbone and that she is willing to fight for what she loves. Digger's character is one that has compassion when needed but can get down and dirty with the rest of the Sinners.

Pay heed to any trigger warnings that are given.

The story shows how women can be treated by the men in their lives but it also shows that the women can fight for their freedom as well. It shows that MaryCat exposed a topic that Aiden Sr. did not have knowledge of within the ranks. This shows a different side of Aiden Sr. that no one has seen within these stories. Sr shows compassion for MaryCat. but then again never let it be said that the 5 points/sinners are not protective of their women and children.

I hope to see more of this couple in the stories to come if they come. :-)

The book was incredible filled with so much funny parts to serious lessons that make the storyline so interesting, A filthy talking Sinner and innocent young girl who wants to be branded by him.

Sappy & Sugary Sweet

2.75 Stars

I really enjoyed the 1st book in this series but this one was hard for me to finish. I really struggled with it.
The repetitive thoughts and words were one of my problems. The other was the MC's themselves.
Way too Sugary Sweet and Sappy for me.
It felt almost YA & definitely didn't read like a biker story.
I cringed with the scenes that were 'Instructional' between them during their Intimate Scenes.
There was SOME good scenes but the dialogue and so much else just left me feeling like I needed to brush my teeth. All that sugar could rot them.

If you've been left with a monster book hangover following the end of the Five Points and Sinner series', this is a perfect crossover that is just pure adorable love. Marycat and Digger's story fits very early in the world of the MC and mob. In fact it fits right after Finn and Aoife's story before any of the other MC brothers have found their ladies.

Marycat is the bridge between both worlds as Sin is her half brother and Aiden Snr is her Uncle. To escape being forced into an awful arranged marriage Marycat approaches the Sinners for help. Digger is the brother that promises to protect her and from that a beautiful love story is born.

What I loved about these two is that many of the other stories have angst or violence or healing and recovery from abuse. This story has those underworld undercurrents. But its actually just a joyous road trip love story. These two fall in love whilst road tripping and return to West Orange very much a partnership.

Marycat is fun and spunky. She fits right in with the brothers and holds her own to protect her man. You get a strong sense of the fondness both the MC and O'Donnellys have for her. Her strength prevents a war and you can see the role she will play in supporting Digger take on more for the MC. But at the same time she has a little naivete and sweetness that makes her a perfect other half to life hardened Digger.

Digger & Mary Catherine were mentioned several times in previous books, so it was great to finally read their story. 😍
Loved, LOVED, L♥O♥V♥E♥D this book!!

..... I know some of you are confused about where it fits in the timeline. How a book can slot in the reading order between Filthy and Nyx… Well, if you recall in Nyx, the Sinners and the Feckers are working together, but it’s never explained how, just that it’s because of a brother (Digger) who got with the daughter of a Five Pointer (Mary Catherine). Filthy Sinneris their story. So, that’s why it fits so early on in the timeline!

Ever since the first books in this series, and certainly after Storm, I’ve been waiting for more of the story of how Digger and MaryCat got together. I very much needed this book after Filthy Lies and Filthy Truth (which were amazing books - but super heavy) to lift me up and be an easy read. It loved Digger, there’s just something about a man who isn’t a true bad guy thinking that he isn’t good enough for the “good girl.” It’s even more delicious when he finds out she isn’t that “good” and is feisty in her own way. Their chemistry is off the charts and just so very sweet and intoxicating. My only complaint is that the book ended 😩😭 I need more! But that’s always the way with this author’s works.

“Some stuff can never make sense and still be perfect.”

This is book 2 of the crossover universe featuring the Five Points Irish mafia series and the Satan’s Sinners MC series (if you begin with Filthy). In Filthy Sinner, the author introduces us to the hopeful beginning of, not only a romantic relationship between two individuals, but also the partnership between two very different organizations.

Desperate to escape an arranged marriage that could end in her early expiration, 21-year-old Mary Catherine flees her Irish mafia-father’s home in New York to plead for help from her estranged half-brother, whom she has never met. Padraig was raised in the Satan’s Sinners compound in New Jersey and is now known as Sin, but had secretly reached out to his sister years before to let her know he was there if she needed him. Unfortunately, when Mary Catherine arrives in New Jersey, Sin isn’t there, but she meets Digger and discloses her identity and reasons for showing up unannounced. Upon hearing her plight, Digger offers to marry her to keep her safe until they can come up with a more permanent solution, after which they will annul or divorce. The two then secretly take off on a road trip to Vegas (something that, hilariously, is not necessary and is pointed out to Digger after the fact, but it facilitates the relationship development), compounding this marriage of convenience with a forced proximity that builds a friendship between two seemingly incompatible characters.

Along the way, we see that the smart and savvy Mary Catherine develops into a stronger, more self-assured version of herself (something that is illustrated by gradually changing her name to MaryCat). She is inexperienced in many ways, but Digger helps build her confidence and strength. He also helps her realize the physical joys of being married (wink, wink) and that she enjoys being praised by her new husband. This surprisingly chivalrous MC hero, who is outwardly rough around the edges, proves himself to be a kind, considerate, and courageous dirty-talking protector. Yes, please.

Speaking of yes, please…the audio version of the book brings the emotion to the next level and I am HERE FOR IT!! Samantha Brentmoor embodies the quiet determination and budding strength of Mary Cat while Joe Arden gives us growly dirty-talking perfection as Digger.

I love how, throughout the story, even up to the very end, we see Digger’s information-gathering thought process. Every time he notes an interesting tidbit, he sums it up in his words with a “-got it.” So…

Marriage of convenience between unlikely characters – got it.
Forced proximity to make things interesting – got it.
Throw in a bit of brother’s best friend flavor – got it.
Unexperienced heroine (who enjoys being praised by her dominant hero) – got it.

This book proves that a mafia/MC crossover story CAN deliver a warm hug in the form of a sweet, feel-good romance – got it?

Wow!! Samantha Brentmoor and Joe Arden brought their 'A' game as Mary-Cat and Digger in the audio version of Filthy Sinner.
The emotions shine through as we journey through their story. I loved listening to the growth of MC and her fierceness, in turn she brings out the soft romantic side of her James (Digger) and the dirty-talking was soooo hot.
"WHEN WE LOVE, WE LOVE DEEP"

This was a delicious treat in my ears. Bravo to these voice actors for bringing all the emotions!

Wow!! Holy sweetness, the chemistry between Digger and Mary-Cat sizzles off the page.

I was lucky to read the beginning to Filthy Sinner in the Anthology and was beyond excited to find out that the full story was being released. I knew going into this book that it was going to have me completely engrossed, and I seriously couldn't put it down

This takes us back in time and is essentially the Sinner meets the Fecker and how their worlds collided.

Mary Catherine, a Five Points princess, runs away to escape an arranged marriage brokered by her father. She seeks out her half-brother Sin (Padraig) at the Satan's Sinners clubhouse in West Orange.

As it happens, Sin isn't there, but luckily Digger is. He has been her secret crush since she first saw him as a 16 year old.

Digger is totally accepting, understands the immediacy and offers a solution, a shotgun style wedding arrangement and so begins their journey...

Digger is such a sweetheart, he is patient, understanding and so protective. He is exactly what Mary-Cat needs at her back. He is the perfect blend of dirty-talking biker and a swoon worthy hero.

Mary-Cat too, despite her sheltered upbringing is feisty and loyal to those she loves. She goes head-to-head with Aidan Snr to expose what is happening in his ranks.

This story encapsulates what we have grown to love in this universe. Full of excitement and passion, strong women who captivate their men and fight for each other. There are many tender moments and plenty of steam in this heart-warming tale.

*****************************
Please heed the author's note as the beginning has been revamped and adds so much to the whole book

The prospect of being married-off to a low-tier mob member, 40+ years her senior, who has an unsavoury reputation sends young Mary Catherine into a tailspin. She finds herself at the gates of the Satan’s Sinners’ compound, looking for help from a half-brother she’s never met. But instead she finds Digger, and surprisingly he promises to be just the escape she was looking for.

Heading back into the Dark & Dirty Sinners feels like being wrapped in your favourite blanket. MaryCat and Digger’s story delivered everything I’d hoped for - a beautifully unfolding love story, between two seemingly unlikely-suited characters: on-paper they seem worlds apart, though in reality they couldn’t be better matched.

“He didn’t savor or caress - he consumed me.”

Their chemistry is fire - Digger’s protective- side is utterly endearing, and witnessing MaryCat’s growth and fortitude was so incredibly rewarding. Filthy Sinner is a perfect addition to an already perfect series - it just serves to make it shine that little bit brighter

“a five pointer and a sinner? that’s definitely something that doesn’t make sense.” “until it does,”

as much as i'd love to be able to experience this entire universe of crossover series for the very first time again, and in order now that all the books are out, there's something to be said about reading filthy sinner after the filthy feck duet. the poetic symbolism, the full circle of going back to the start of the collision between these two worls – mobsters and bikers – felt as much as a long time coming as conor's and star's story. digger and marycat were the magic that didn't die down, the outcome of their happily ever after might've been given away in all the books that chronologically follow it but their beginning was such a surprise. the softness to their bond, in a way the light to conorstar's darkness, felt like both a gift to those who finished this wild five points' mob ride with them, and a promise to those who'll start here to trust the process, even when all hope seems lost.

Digger & MaryCat

I've read most of Sinner's MC books and loved them all. I had not read the Five Point books, however, I always loved when MaryCat showed up. Now I've read her story along with Digger. Enjoyed it from start to finish. A couple made up of two very unlikely people.

She's in trouble being forced into an arranged marriage. Maybe there is one salvation but he's not at the clubhouse when she finally sneaks away. Digger is and decides to help her when he finds out who the intended groom is to be.

So begins a dangerous journey both on a bike across country and emotionally. Steam, innocence growing up, great characters, and world-building. I have a feeling I'm going to read the rest of these Five Point books to go with the Sinner's stories. There is a list to show you the correct order. Enjoy.

Mary Catherine has a pretty good life from the outside in, but in reality she’s stuck in a bad situation and it’s about to get worse. She needs help and fast, running to her half brother seams to be a good idea. Unfortunately said brother is out of town but his motorcycle club brother is more than willing to help. Digger sees helping Mary Catherine as a solution to her problem and getting retaliated to one of his. This was an intense but well layered book with an emotional story to tell. I enjoyed the well written characters who were both damaged but able to help each other through their situation. This author never disappoints when telling a great story.

I have anxiously been waiting for more about MaryCat and Digger. We got glimpses of them in other books in the story line but it was time to have their story.
I was not disappointed.
What started out as a means to protect MaryCat turned into a love story with Digger that couldn't be denied.
Even though they came from different worlds somehow they made it work and it was amazing to see in each page.

I adore Digger and MaryCat!!! I mean… right up there with Kiera and Storm. Just… ***chef’s kiss*** PERFECTION!!! MaryCat shouldn’t fit into Digger’s world. Her world is just completely different than his. But… man… it’s effortless. She was born to be a Sinner. They were born for each other. There’s just so much hope and love here. Love. Love. Love this! 💜

Wow! What a Ride!

I originally read the first part of Digger and MaryCat"s story in an anthology and fell in love with them then. I'm so glad we got the rest of their story now. It was beautiful and even better this time than the small part we were given in the Anthology.
Mary Catherine, ever the good girl for the Five Points Mob parents, always doing what they told her under fear of what would happen to her or the people around her. She finally has enough when her father promises to marry her to a man 40 years her senior. She runs to her half-brother Sin, who is in the Sinners MC.
They don't know each other, but five years earlier, he sent her a cell phone in case she ever needed him. She needed him now more than ever. Unfortunately, when she showed up at the Sinner's compound, he wasn't there. Luckily for her, Digger was. He had been her first crush since she first saw him at her mother's house with Sin. She never expected him to help her.
Digger and MaryCat's story begins as a story of forced proximity, a marriage of convenience, but it turns into so much more.
Digger is kind and has a Hero complex regarding MaryCat, especially when she mentions who her father wants her to marry. He is patient with her and doesn't push her.
Mary Catherine is smart and shy at first, but once she starts to trust Digger, she becomes playful and sassy with him. She knows what she wants, and she has wanted him since she first saw him.
She helps to diffuse a possible war between the two factions, and she helps to make a change.
This book may fall in the second slot in the reading order. However, it came at a point for us, the readers, when we needed this story. We needed this book to help heal our hearts after the other books ended.
MaryCat and Digger did that for us, and they helped do that for both the Five Points and the Satan's Sinners.

Audiobook:
Joe Arden and Samantha Brentmoor bring to life the characters Digger and MaryCat. This was a great read in and of itself. Add these two narrators, and it adds another dimension to the story. Joe Arden always brings a full range of emotions to his characters, and this was no different. Samantha was new to me, but she was an excellent choice for MaryCat.

I may be sat here with hearts in my eyes, and my øv@ries expløded.
This book was everything I needed and so much more.
Digger has arrived and taken his spot as one of my book boyfriends.
I've read every book that has been released in this universe, and I've been so excited for this book.
We finally get to see how MaryCat and Digger found love and each other.
Like the rest of this series , this book is hot , steamy, and full of action.
Mary Cat is everything Digger didn't know he needed until he saw her.
Digger is now my favourite Sinner, and that is saying something because i love these Sinners’s so much.
He is so passionate , protective , sweet, and very generous if you know what i mean with MaryCat.
He is so swoon-worthy , i may have swooned a lot through this book.
This coupling is definitely one of my favourites , they're just perfect for each other.
This book made me want to do a full reread of the entire universe.
This universe will forever be one of my favourites, and i will probably always go back and do a reread when I'm missing certain characters.
It's a phenomenal read that I would definitely recommend.

AUDIO REVIEW :

Well I honestly didn't think I could fall in love with this book anymore , but boy was I wrong.
Joe Arden voices Digger perfectly and I was swooning throughout. Samantha Brentmoor is perfect as MaryCat. These two together are 🥵🔥This Audiobook was perfection and it will be one I relisten too.

Filthy Sinner

Mary Catherine + Digger 🏍️

I was very excited to finally get more sinners and to have it paired with the Five Points is a huge plus.

If you’ve read the series, this is placed between Filthy and Nyx and is a huge comfort after I just finished Filthy Lies. It’s the story of MaryCat and Digger, which you get bits and pieces throughout the series but I am so glad they have their very own book. 📖

Knowing what I do now, I’m very tempted to re-read both series. Seeing how protective Digger is of MC is one of the many things I liked about Digger. Even more is seeing MC pull some bold moves, herself. 😘

Fantastic read!

This book was the PERFECT book to heal my soul after it had been shredded by Lies and Truth. Digger is the ultimate Sinner - dark, dirty, sinful and most of all a protective gentleman. He full on became my #1 Sinner (sorry Cruz). MaryCat, the Polly Pointer daughter turned out to have more grit than anyone gave her credit for and that is why she is his perfect match. This book gave me more Feckers and Sinners and anytime I get more of them I am a happy happy girl. This was a beautifully written book that helped heal and offer us hope.

Filthy Sinner is like the Romeo and Juliet of the mafia and MC world! It tells the story of a young Marry-Catherine, the virgin bride-to-be, and a pawn for her five-pointer parents and the older, dark, and mysterious Satan's Sinner named Digger that comes to her rescue. She runs away from her father's attempts to force her into a loveless marriage with a man closer to her grandfather's age. Marry-Cat finds refuge in the Satan's Sinners' MC compound, where she is originally searching for her half-brother, a biker who is the black sheep of the family but she gets Digger instead.
Marry-Cat was immediately drawn to Digger years prior, now that she is running to her brother's MC compound and has come face to face with him again she soon finds herself falling for him. The chemistry between the two is electric and you are quickly caught up in the romance that unfolds.
Overall, Filthy Sinner is a must-read and it comes at a perfect time for those of us that have been suffering major book hangovers with the final books in the Sinners and Filthy series that were recently released, and of course, anyone who enjoys a fast-paced, action-packed love story. Serena does an excellent job of creating captivating and intriguing stories, and the reader is always satisfied AND left wanting more by the end of the book. Highly recommended!

Filthy Sinner
(The Five Points’ Mob Collection, #0.05)
By Serena Akeroyd

I read the original Filthy Sinner, which was Author Serena Akeroyd’s part of A Very Merry MC Christmas and I knew then that MaryCat and Digger’s story was going to pure magic!

The author has added to the original story and we get all the background we needed along with a bit of a reminder of how the Feckers brokered their agreement with the Sinners. But before that happened Digger and MaryCat had brokered their own beginning.

This is the original crossover to the two storylines and we got to spend time with not just some of our favorite Sinners but with some our beloved Five Points members as well.

The story follows their first “meeting” and goes from there. It’s the perfect story that takes us back to the beginning. It shows us the beauty of love, when that love is pure and earned and boy did they work for it!

You will love it, there have been a number of additions to this story but we needed it to get the full effect. For the most part the pages fly by and I think you will be smiling and there may be a bit of blushing on MaryCat’s part. I know when I finished I felt content, I was smiling and I knew this was exactly the right time for this author to give her fans this perfect love story.

This is exactly what I needed after reading the last couple books in this series. It was so deep at times that I just needed a book to fall in love with. And bonus that this book was still part of the FPM world. We’ve know about MaryCat throughout this whole series and it was so exciting for them to finally have a book. Mary Catherine was promised to another Five Pointer by her father and when she found this out, she made her escape to the Sinner’s compound to find her brother (Sin). She ends up finding Digger who then plans to help her get out of this marriage. The dynamic between MC and Digger is fire. They are so meant to be together. While MC is naive, well bred and full of innocence, Digger is the exact opposite which compliment each other perfectly. I can’t get over what a bad ass MC is and Digger is the perfect support person to let her light shine. Since this book is really the second book, not the last which it would look like due to the release timeline, we get to see all the other Sinners before their books which was such a treat.
