Chandauli becomes the first district to launch India's first outcome-based funding Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) program. A first-of-its-kind program in India where the Govt, NITI Aayog, is the outcome funder, this program has 2 goals: 1. Reimagine ed-tech procurement in India where the payments of ed-service providers are linked to improvement in student learning outcomes thereby increasing their accountability.   2. Improve learning outcomes of students from grades 3-8 in selected Aspirational Districts in Uttar Pradesh through a PAL solution. Significant monetary resources are allocated every year to ICT infrastructure in schools, but the impact of these ed-tech interventions on learning levels remains low. GDi is proud to be working with NITI Aayog and Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, India in implementing this program with an aim to establish a successful 'Pay for Outcomes' model in India and move the needle towards funding impact and outcomes rather than inputs. #nationbuilding #innovativefinancing #payforoutcomes #aspirationaldistricts #edtech
