Little Buffalo State Park in Perry County has announced a modified schedule for the swimming pool and boat rentals “due to lifeguard availability.”
The pool and boat rental are closed today, Aug. 1, as well as on Aug. 2, 8 and 9, according to a news release from Jessica Fischer, park manager.
The pool and boat rental will be open from 11 a.m to 7 p.m on Thursday, Aug. 3, through Monday, Aug. 7 and from Thursday, Aug. 10 through Saturday, Aug. 13.
On Thursday, Aug. 3, half of the pool will be closed lengthwise along with the small slide. The large slide will be open until 4 p.m. After 4 p.m. both slides will be unavailable and the deep end of the pool will be closed. The spray ground will be open.
Partial closing of the pool and some features may be necessary at any time because of limited staffing.
The pool and boat rental will be closed Monday, Aug. 14, through Friday, Aug. 18.
They will be open again from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, and Sunday, Aug. 20; Saturday, Aug. 26, and Sunday, Aug. 27; and Saturday, Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 4, which is Labor Day.
