So many emotions ripped through me reading this book. The characters stories intertwined, but lived very different upbringing’s. Wynter, survived her ordeal by working keeping her head down and looking forward to escaping the town of torment and isolation, where she and her sister Janine, lived.
Quinn, football star, gunning for the NFL survived his torment by getting strong, facing his demons head on and protecting the one person in the world he cared about, his brother Brody.
These characters come together by chance and while Wynter is unsuspecting of Quinn’s intentions, Quinn has his mind set on destroying Wynter.
There are some 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ scenes and they are delicious. This reader needed a whole air conditioner for sure.
Sometimes we find, we can’t trust the people we are supposed to. I don’t want to spoil the book so go read it!
This book is full of abuse, lust, hatred, betrayal. This isn’t a book for the faint of heart. There are some heavy trigger warnings. Besides the normal k!nk (🔪 play, 🍑 play, bøndage, DP), there is also $exual abu$e, $uicide pact, pedøphile, ma$$ $hooting, physical Abu$e, gr00ming are in this novel.
If you do not have any triggers, this is a phenomenal read. I was invested heavily in this novel. Life is messy, it can be unbearable at times and sometimes we have to see our way through it to find the truth.
This is a standalone HEA, with dark twists and turns. This is book 3 in a series that can all be read as standalones.

Such a great suspenseful read!
This was a wild ride! I had a bit of a challenge connecting to the characters in the beginning but so glad I pushed through. The amount of mystery that was plotted throughout was perfect. This whole story made beauty out tragedy and I loved how Wynter and Quinn connected and grew with one another. I really enjoyed reading this and am so curious now.
