These are Great for the price. The magnet on the back is nice and strong and attached very well! I bought a different timer and had to glue the magnet back on! These are simple and easy to use. They are not as loud as other timers (even with the 2 settings) but it's loud enough for me. I haven't had it long enough to know about battery life. It doesn't have an on/off switch but it 'goes to sleep' by itself after a short time when it's not in use. I like that when you 'wake it up' (by tapping any button), it is still set for the time that was set before it 'went to sleep'. For example: if you had it set for 10 minutes and the timer sounded, you pressed stop and it 'went to sleep '. Then when you 'wake it up' , it would show 10 minutes again and you just have to press start. This is a great feature for baking cookies where you need to use the same time over and over. The buttons are a good size and press easily. I really like them, they work well for me. I would definitely recommend them and will probably buy more.

I love these! The quality is really nice and it was a nice bonus to get a set of two of them. I have several timers that I use in my home, in the kitchen and generally around the house for timing various things (including for the laundry so I don't forget about it) and these are the nicest of them all. I love the large size of the numbers on the display, the soft rubberized buttons and the fact that I can adjust the volume so that it's quieter if I'm actually in the room and don't need it to be loud and don't want to disturb others with it being too loud. It also has a nice flip stand on the back which is better quality than the stand on other brands of timers that I have and is more sturdy. I quickly found these to be my favorite out of all the timers I own and end up using these instead of the others now.

edit: I had to take off a star. I've only had these for a couple of months and the little stand already broke off of one of them (the one I was using daily). It is made of thin plastic and the hinge broke off so the stand can't be put back on and now the timer can't be stood up and must lay flat on the counter. When lying flat, it somewhat muffles the sound of the beep when it goes off and I also can't view the numbers as easily. If they would have made the stand out of more sturdy plastic so that it couldn't snap (or made them out of metal) these would be the perfect timers.

This is a great little timer, it does what the packet says. The alarm is loud enough to hear from another room as long as you set it to the higher volume setting. The display is big and easy to read and switches off completely when not in use. But the main thing I like is that the magnet on the back is really strong; it really sticks to the fridge or cooker hood with no fear of it falling off. I bought a different timer from a shop and stuck it to the side of my fridge and it slowly slid down and fell off! These are the best timers I've ever used and it's great to get two in the pack.
