The Broken Pieces Series has devoured and consumed me once again with all its feels and angst. But here I am once again reading to the end because I.S.A. Bella is that good of a writer.
In this book. it will have you filled with so much admiration and affection for all the characters that it will make them feel so life-like that this book will take on a whole new meaning.
Sadie and Donovan, have fought the odds that were stacked against them to pull them apart. In the end, love will conquer all.
HE LOVED ME has me on the edge of my seat consumed by what is written on every page. The twists and turns alone will keep you coming back and wanting more. Not to all the heart-stopping moments and the unexpected journeys. I loved it
What a rollercoaster of a story! Poor Sadie's life is never simple or straightforward, it seems that there are some nasty people out to ruin her life, and that of her friends.
Sadie comes to terms that she may have lost nearly all her family and her friends seem to also be in danger. What else can go wrong for them all next? Well we do find out who, and more to the point why. It seems that her father is even worse than you already thought!
A few surprising revelations come out in this story too. There are a lot of tests for Sadie and Donovan's relationship and Donnie's love for Sadie shines through it all. I really want everything to work out for them!
There are trigger warnings at the beginning of the book that need to be headed. Sadie is trying to move forward following the loss of her brother, Jo, and her mother being critically hurt. Javier coming into her life has turned things upside down. She’s hurt by all the secrets about her family that she’s just learning. On top of that, she’s still in danger, she has no idea what the future holds, and she has to find ways to carry on. Donnie is also trying to make the right decisions for him, Sadie, Sophia, and their unborn child. There are lots of twists and turns throughout this book. By the end, I’m re
Ok, what the heck did I just read? I love each book of this series, but this is my favorite. Donnie is my new book boyfriend. He is so protective of his Shorty and will do anything to keep her safe, and will love her until his last breath. This book had it all: suspense, action, drama, romance, sweet moments, strong bonds between family and friendship. And my little Sophia! I love the dancing scene with her and Ash. The ending wrecked me! I cannot wait until book five but I hope isa bella doesn't end it with Donnie and Sadie's story. I want more Seb, Gio, Max, Ash, and the girls! Another amazing read.
First up, if you have any triggers please look at the list in the front of the book.
Second, OMG this book was amazing. This is the continuing story of Sadie and Donnie. Sadie has gone through a lot. I mean A LOT. You wouldn't fault her for giving up. She remains strong, but it is starting to take a toll on her. Just when you think there might be a happy ending, BOOM. Even more stuff.
I loved that it did end on a high note, but still a little bit of a cliffhanger.
Perfect ending to a roller coaster series that kept you wanting more. The ending came at just the right time when it was time for the characters to graduate into life, as if they weren't already living unbelievable lives. The writer wraps up each characters life to a satisfying HEA.
Sadie has really gone through a tough life. Being a single mom is hard enough never mind having an abusive dad, and all the losses she has had to endure.
She finally has something good with her former best friend again when they reconnect. I just hope it lasts, her luck isn't turning put so well.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review
I can't wait for the next book to come out. This series is really good. I can't wait to see what happens to Donnie and Sadie. You think you are there with them. There was a twist in this book.
