In this book we meet Ethan and Amelia! Amelia is taking a vacation to get her mind off of her ex. Her mother recently passed so she is really looking for a fresh start!
She gets to the hotel ready to relax but that isn't going to happen when she meets the attractive, grumpy contractor working on the hotel! Ethan is older, mysterious, and easily someone that could distract Amelia!
They start out as enemies and their banter is hilarious! I was laughing for over half the book! Once the two of them gave into each other the sparks flew! The spice in this book was *chefs kiss* !
I enjoyed learning about Ethan and Amelia's past and learning more about their passions! I especially liked Amelia's passion for turtles or "turts" as she calls them LOL!
This was such a cute and easy read! I felt like I was on vacation with the characters and it made me want to go to the beach!

Amelia & Ethan's story is an angsty enemies to lovers that's full of 🔥🌶🔥🌶🔥🌶! They fight like the dickens, which is soooo not my jam. However, they're full of banter, too, which soooo is! 🤣
I love the way Amelia takes risks. She's taking a vacation to honor her mother's memory, and uses this time to step out of her comfort zone, encouraged in many ways by Ethan. He pushes her buttons a lot, but as their story & relationship progress, he does so in a way that helps he find her true self.
Amelia also develops friendships with the hotel's proprietor, Anna, and Ethan's sister, Cass. Both women help her out of the shell she's been living in, as well.
This was an enjoyable story (even with the fighting) by a debut author!! The HEA is super cute, too. And, I heard a rumor this may turn into a series, so I'm looking forward to more from this author.

Quickie Review: Oh boy the sexual tension in this one from the moment these two meet. I couldn’t take my eyes off the book or them in fear I may miss something igniting between them. Mindy Paige penned a spectacular debut story of enemies to lovers in this beautifully, spicy romance. To me, it almost had a magical undercurrent working through the pages. Or maybe, that was just Amelia’s mother watching out for her after her passing. Either way, I couldn’t get enough of it and can’t wait to see what else she comes up with next. 5 Stars!

This book was definitely a quick read for me. Amelia and Ethan's banter right from the beginning had me hooked. Also, the sexual tension between these two is excellent. I love how Anna had her own little part in their relationship. I do feel like the relationship/story felt a little rushed for me but overall, this book was amazing.

This was such a fun, sweet + s t e a m y debut!!
In need of a change of scenery, Amelia finds herself on a "small town living" tropical island with no cell service and a grumpy contractor. His grumpiness only makes him that much more delicious and tempting.
This was a fast paced, whirlwind of a romance. I loved the banter and tension between E + A. We love when a man goes feral for his girl. 🥵🥵 AND ETHAN GOES FERAL 🤌🏻

Their banter in the first half had me hooked.I wish we could have gotten an explanation as to what Ethan had against Amelia.It seemed like their was a reason ,but we didn’t find out what it was.When she was fired up and arguing with him and he would grin 🫠🤭.

After losing her mother & breaking off her engagement, Amelia sets out on a much deserved vacation. Her plans to rest and relax come to an abrupt halt shorting after checking into her hotel that’s in the middle of renovations when she meets Ethan.
Ethan is the hot, grumpy, not to mention rude construction worker working in Amelia’s hotel who likes nothing more than getting under her skin. Their attraction is immediate & the chemistry is impossible to ignore. The quick wit and banter were laugh out loud funny.
This book was so much fun to read. I’d definitely recommend.

Six months after losing her mother (and ending her going nowhere relationship), Amelia is channeling her mother’s love of adventure by heading to Florida. She got a great deal on a fancy hotel called The Grand Flamingo, due to ongoing renovations.
Her vacation doesn’t start smoothly (snoring seat mate, lost luggage, dropped key), so she is ready for some relaxation. Unfortunately, the man doing renovations is super grumpy…and super attractive!
The characters in this book absolutely make this a must read. I was giggling with some of the creative phrases the author used. (My personal favorite was Thor looking d*wad). Excellent quick read!

hot and spicy
This is my first book by this author after finding her on instagram I had to come check out her books. I loved this story. It was a quick and easy read with some good ole spice. I loved everything from the banter between the to MCs to the fighting and making up. The tension between these two was so funny they just couldn’t help talking smack to one another and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next book.

this was a fun, steamy short read!! I loved the banter, and Ethan picking on her. Ethan being the protective, I’m gonna go feral on you for touching her had me blushingggg. Also, the amount of times I laughed out loud during this.. this was a great debut by this author!
However, I wanted more! I felt like these characters had so much depth to them that I would’ve loved to see more of. It just felt a tad rushed to me.

This is the first I've read of this author
And I'll tell you right now I'm looking forward to her next book this is about a girl who is so cautious and she meets a god of a handyman and I do mean handy . It's not a long story it's not involved it's just a cute hot love story but she's only on vacation and vacations end, will they?

The only good thing I can say about this book is that I finished it. It was one of the worst books I have read. There wasn’t much to the story; the h and H were unlikeable; crude language was totally unnecessary and the ending was a stretch and lacking in explanation. I think this was a first book for the author and hopefully she will improve but I won’t be reading anymore of her books.

As much as I liked this so many things were "off". We have no clue what h does for a living, she meets H and they know absolutely nothing about each other for basically the whole book. We have no clue where he lives, how old he is...towards end u kind of guesstimate when you get his sister's age. No real development. The steam was good.

Review: A short and spicy summer novel that will satisfy your romance cravings! In this vacation turned love affair story we meet Amelia Hayes after she goes through a lot of changes in her personal life. The meet cute between her and Ethan was more of a Meet Hate and the animosity that sparked off them was HAWT.
I enjoyed this quick read and thought for the length of the book the couple progressed and developed well. They were both pretty complex MCs for the plot and I enjoyed how Mindy created the tension between them. I also really loved how Ethan was a broody alphahole even after he fell for Amelia. While they were a fast burn and enemy to lovers story, the pull they both felt was more similar to an insta-love story.
Amelia was a FMC who I enjoyed reading and hope to see more of in this series. I loved the hilarity of the conversations she had with her friend and how she was reflective at times. However, I did feel like she never made Ethan apologize for his prior actions and that they just fell into love super fast. I did appreciate how the chemistry was sparked by the immediate conflict between the two and how neither knew how to approach it at first!

◾️If You Fall, I Will Catch You, I’ll Be Waiting◾️
Who the H e double hockey sticks do you think you are? No, not you. Ethan. I had more than a few words for this man in Mindy Paige’s debut novel, “Time and Tide.” Amelia goes on a long overdue vacation after her mother passes and her engagement ends. Amelia was very close to her mother and still grieving. She hopes the getaway will help lift her spirits. Little did she know she would meet the contractor, Ethan, of the hotel she was staying at.
Ethan comes across as — well, a total d eye cK. But he’s distracting because he is hot, gets protective, and all growly. Yes, growly. You know when a slimy guy approaches his woman? Ethan will not stand for that, so he gets growly about it. The scene is fantastic.
I love how Amelia has this opportunity to learn about herself, her wants and needs, and how that ties into her involvement with Ethan. There is spice, albeit lower than I usually read, but it is there.
“Time and Tide” is a treasure of a debut romance novel with characters that fit well together and an entertaining plot with the right amount of angst, emotion, and spice that works well.
I received a copy of this book for free and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Time & Tide, Mindy Paige’s debut novel, is the perfect quick ’n’ dirty summer read! Amelia goes on vacation to try to recollect herself, after recently ending her engagement, and the loss of her mother. On arrival, she quickly realizes the drop in price at the famous resort, was due to some pretty extensive construction taking place.
Enter Ethan Stone, the broody contractor in charge of the hotel’s construction. The two have immediate sparks, with all of the push/pull you want from an enemies to lovers relationship.
Given that this was a short read, you don’t have to wait long for those sparks to ignite, and boy do they!! The spice in this took me by surprise, in the best of ways. It has good girl vibes, and steamy, semi-public scenes, and a possessive/protective MMC.
While my favourite is typically dual POV, this is written in first person POV by the FMC, and Mindy pulled it off really well! I still felt a connection to both MCs. She was also able to develop enough interest in the side characters to have you wanting and waiting for the next book.

I really wanted to love this book and I did enjoy the storyline idea. However, Amelia choked on her spit one to many times (twice to be exact) which was an odd thing to add in such random places. That was not a fun quirky thing that should be pointed out. The author also used the word spit way to often in general. I understand she was trying to get us to feel the anger when the characters talked but there are lots of other words to use. I noticed EVERY time she used it and it took away from the story for me. While I did enjoy the characters, I was really hoping for more information about why Ethan took an instant hate to Amelia. What about his past caused him to act that way. This was such a fast read that adding some history would have been helpful to build the story more. The chemistry between the characters could be felt and I really couldn't wait to find out how things were going to work out.
I am interested to see how this author grows since this was their first book.

Amelia is going on a trip. She deserves this trip more than anything. She recently lost her mother and is over her break up with her ex fiancé. From the airplane to getting to the hotel her trip is one adventure after another….then she runs into the man doing the renovations at the hotel. Ethan is rough around the edges, has a chip on his shoulder and is a bit of a dirty talker. Together these two are a hot mess…in the best possible way. These two annoy each other, push each other’s buttons like no other and have crazy chemistry! This was a quick quirky read that was funny and had extremely interesting characters. These characters all have great back stories and I loved Their banter. I’m definitely reading the next book.

This is the first in a new series, as well as a debut from this author, who is certainly someone to look out for in the future.
Amelia losses her mom and ends her engagement, leaving her needing a fresh start and she takes a tropical vacation, only to find out on arrival that the hotel is under construction. This is a well written story which is an enemies / lovers, age gap romance, with humor, witty banter, emotions, tension, and love, which leads to an entertaining quick read.
I look forward to reading more from this authors whose work I recommend.

After her mom passes and her engagement ends Amelia goes on a vacation to Florida by herself to get away from it all. She stays at a hotel that’s currently being renovated so she got a good price and it’s not busy at all. She meets a cute little lady named Anna and a grumpy handyman, Ethan. The connection between Amelia and Ethan picks up quick. One minute you want to punch Ethan square in the mouth and the next you’re swooning over him.
Guysss, I ate this up in like 4 hours. It was so fast paced and I loved it! I love the banter between Amelia and Ethan and his little pet name for her.. “Freckles”

Amelia is taking a trip to a beach resort in memory of her mom that has passed. Enemies to lovers, Amelia and Ethan get off to a bad start. They argue right from the getgo. The resort is special, quirky and away from good signal service. Just some time to enjoy the scenery. While she enjoys her time away from her everyday life, maybe Ethan is a good idea. Even though these two get off to a bad start, all that tension sparks all the fire. As they get closer, feelings are growing but she is just there temporarily right? This was a quick read, their chemistry was good and I was cheering them on.

I LOVE this book and it has made my top five of the year! I lived the enemies to lovers and that he was hot and cold in the beginning! I know that many of the other reads didn’t enjoy that but as someone who has read many books this year and a lot being enemies to lovers, I felt it was perfect. Because you can see the change in him from the beginning of the book to when they get together. Mindy did an amazing job and I can’t wait to read more books by her!
