This was an adorable story! I loved these two characters and had a lot of fun with the story. I loved the way that the story built and flowed. It was easy to get into and stay engaged throughout the book. It was cute and I loved the grumpy cat as well. We get to see both of them come out of their shells and let down their walls after they have started their friends/neighbors with benefits relationship. There was plenty going on in the story to hold my attention the entire time.

Cooper and Farrah’s story starts with him moving to get away from his ex fiancé and ex bf. He moved in beside settles into his new job as a firefighter. Farrah and her mom moved a few months before him due to her mean, abusive stepdad died in a car wreck. So when he is needed out on fires she offers to watch his grumpy cat since she’s a vet tech, and so the love story goes. A good well written story with Humpty that I volunteered to read for my honesty

4.5 stars. This book has one of the most memorable first meets I have read! I felt an instant connection to Farrah and Cooper and wanted to hug them both for what they had been through. I enjoyed seeing their connection and chemistry grow and loved the way Humpty completed them. Their story was filled with good friends, family, and pasts they were still dealing with. I also enjoyed the flow of the story, the strong characters, catching up with past couples and the love that was shown throughout. I am voluntarily leaving this review after receiving an ARC.
