Lords of Rathe #2

Fate of A Faux

Rate this book
The King of Darkness is dead.
It’s time for a new one to rise…

London Crow isn’t who I thought she was.
She’s worse.

My hate for her knows no bounds.
My need for her has no end.

But it’s my inability to have her that might just end us all, as the fates refuse to be ignored.

Now, there’s a darkness sweeping the streets of Rathe, threatening to destroy the Kingdom we know and love, and it’s all because of her.

The mate I can’t have.
The bond I can’t let go.

There is only one way to restore balance, and it begins and ends with her.

The problem? I broke the girl into a thousand tiny pieces without a second thought. Earning her forgiveness won’t be easy, but that’s fine.

If she won’t give it freely, I will take it.
One mistake at a time.

There is some genres that authors can write and some they cannot. Neither Amo or Meagan can write a fantasy book properly. It was too confusing and there were too many jumps where nothing is explained properly.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Amo's and Meagan’s books respectively. Together? Not so much, there was no explanation on the fae world they created. New things just kept popping up and somehow we were supposed to know what they were. Too many plot twists- that again aren’t explained properly. I had to reread some pages because I’m like huh, what happened?? She’s dead at the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next chapter she’s walking in a hallway, care to explain what happened in-between those two things??

I would have rated it a 2, but I did feel bad so bumped it up to a 3.

Returning to Rathe, we find Knight Deveraux, Lord of Rathe and heir to the throne of Dark Magic fighting against fate.

With Knight having agreed to entertain potential queens, London, although rejected, is among his choices making the tension escalate to dizzying heights!

FoaF was better than I could have even imagined. The mystery and suspense, the hate and longing, the spice and retribution... It was all perfection. So much betrayal brought to light and so many secrets uncovered in the conclusion. I loved the new places we went and people we met. I can’t wait for more Haide!!

Dnf @ 50%. This was a jumbled mess. I couldn't follow one damn thing. It was so confusing and convoluted. Writing was all over the place and it really just gave me an eye sore trying to follow it. Suffice to say this was a massive let down.

this felt like an acid trip like i didn’t know what was going on half the time. Also there’s so many questions left unanswered like how did Ben turn into a dragon? how was Temperance alive? why did she hate her brothers? How are they the six demons of Lucifer? What does it mean? And why is London one of them? Wouldn’t that make her their sibling? How did London get her memories back?

Also i hated how quick London forgave Knight. He didn’t even apologize properly for all the shit he did! Oh but don’t worry because London “knows deep inside her that he loves her” ugh they didn’t even talk about all the things he did! She even forgave him BEFORE she knew Ben was a dragon now, she was willing to stay with him believing he killed her best friend in front of her despite her being innocent.

And back to the Ben thing because that irked me so bad! I feel like that was my last straw. Why is he a dragon? How is he dragon? Didn’t Knight kill him? How did he know where to find London? Why did he take her to the Exiled Island? Why was he there?
You know i could probably overlook all this but, after all the crying and mourning, London reducing Ben to someone just born to protect her ugh whyyyy

Idk im just mad about Ben i believe he deserved better. Justice for Ben.

YOU'RE ACTUALLY JOKING. THIS BLEW ME AWAY. I THOUGHT BOOK ONE WAS SO GOOD BUT SOMEHOW THIS ONE IS EVEN BETTER?! 😩🙌🏼

This had the best angst and then it turned to pure carnage and I was literally losing my goddamn shit.

Amo and Meagan, please keep writing more fantasy romance. You're fucking obliterating it. It's so good and I need the next book ASAP. I have a pretty good idea of which couple it will be about and I couldn't be more excited! 😍

YA'LL AREN'T EVEN READY FOR THIS ONE! BUCKLE THE FUCK UP.

WHAT A MESS (i'm being generous with 2-star, this should be 1 star but since i used my eyeballs to read and struggle through... i feel like that additional star is for me...)

i honestly hoped it would be better in book 2? can you believe it just got WORST!? i picked this one up because i saw people saying good groveling from hero... LIKE WHERE!? there isn't even communication and heroine is literally like "i was never mad at you" and forgave him without even talking about ANYTHING. Also, she became badass and knew how to use all her power overnight? OKAY.

Overall, it got even more confusing and convoluted. Same as book 1, writing is all over the place. at least in this one, there isn't random spaces everywhere but there is huge random page breaks in the chapter.

BAD:
-plot line inconsistent
-WRITING - geez it's so confusing and messy... please tell us who is speaking especially when you have multiple characters in the same scene all talking to each other... also, tell us who walked in before having all those thoughts instead of telling us who that person is like 2 pages later. this should be a story not a guessing game.
-characters have no chemistry, i didn't even care if they got rejected (in fact, i was happy about it and usually, this should bring angst. nope)
-Knight gave major whiplash ... he is literally acting like a boy child and not like a man, it wasn't cute
-tried to do way too much
-major info dump at the last 30% of the book YET some of the things, they didn't bother to elaborate
-again, magic system is not explained and still confused now shadow beasts or wtv they had entered the plot without appropriate world building.

i understand this is their first time venturing into a new genre and i'm being generous with my rating on both book 1 and 2 but i really hope they will read/listen to some constructive feedbacks since they are planning to write more in this universe (i will most likely not read Legend's book)

SPOILERS

Reading these books was a struggle. It felt like constant whiplash. It reads as though the authors had not decided on a story before writing, and then no one ever proofread the story.

1. There were multiple grammatical errors. I can usually look past this in Kindle Unlimited novels, but there were SO MANY.

2. Major plot holes. ML could feel the loss of his mate but not the return? FL father is this major villain character, but it turns out he's not really a true evil villain like he's made out to be but this was only talked about for a few pages and then no more?
All the blame for his crimes is put on FL as a 5 year old child because MLs mommy says so? The relationships between the four brothers and the FL were never fleshed out in a comprehensible manner, and then all of a sudden, there was this deep love and affection?

3. Inconsistencies chapter to chapter. Authors can't seem to decide if her hair is blonde or silver/white for the entirety of book one. This really started to get to me.

I felt that there was unfulfilled potential to the story - too much time spent on certain aspects that could have been better used in other areas. World building was weak. Scene setting was so poorly written that I found myself having to reread paragraphs and sometimes even pages to try and understand what was happening.
The ML did such a sudden 180 with his personality that it felt like a different character entirely by the end of book two. If this growth was spread more evenly, it may have been believable, but it was literally overnight.
All of book one and the first half of book two could have been one book and the second half of book two, two books. So much wasted plot potential, and it left me all kinds of disappointed.

In short, I would not recommend these books. Even if you're looking for a smutty dark romance, the smutty scenes barely make sense at times with the quick changes in action. I think I spent more time trying to understand how we got from one position to another or how the characters went from plot to smut than I did enjoying the spicy scenes.

I was purely fueled by the desire for plot resolution one third through book two, and now I'm left with still desiring plot resolution.

3.5 I’m exhausted stars

‼️UPDATE ‼️

As much as I was impressed with the first book in this series, this one came up short for me and it’s not because I didn’t enjoy the book and this world and these characters it’s because it was so dang confusing!!!!!!!!! Like several times I was like “WHAT IS HAPPENING??????” It was not very fluid in the transition from one sequence to the next THUS creating the confusion! One of the twists however was fantastic but I also felt that was rather rushed and the other twists I didn’t even see it coming and i loved it and it set up what will be another great plot in future books! The introduction of Haide was a welcome surprise and her and Legend will be 🔥 I’m sure.

I don’t know, this one just didn’t have the “hook” that the first book had BUT it will not deter me from reading the rest of the books in the series because I am INVESTED!!!

As far as Knight and London go, they are a hot mess 🤦🏼‍♀️I was so over their back and forth! I was so glad when they finally got it together and realized that they were meant to be together! The sexy time with them was hot but there wasn’t much of that in this one.

Maybe I was expecting too much and set the bar too high. I was disappointed but I shall get over it and move on to the next book when it comes out!

***4,5 "My little Demon!!!" stars***

"If you wish to survive this, forget who you became and remember who you were."

The second part of London and Knight's duet finally came and it was even more amazing than the first part...
There were too many revelations, too much action and a couple that could melt your kindle with their hate-love relationship!!!
London belonged to Rathe more than she has ever imagined, but after the ultimate betrayal by her mate, she is not sure that she can survive into this world... The fact that her mate is a cruel bastard doesn't help matters, but the bond between them is refusing to break, even though they are trying with everything they got...
What will happen after all???

"I hate her. I hate what she's done to me. I hate what the truth has done to us."

In the end of the first book, we realized that London wasn't who she thought she were... and for the sake of revenge, Knight had done something irredeemable... something that London can never forgive!!!
Now, they are both living in denial and they are letting hatred to come between them...
Knight is trying to reject his mate and London doesn't want this awful bond to bound her to him anymore...
But... Fates has other plans for them, even though they are both fighting it with teeth and nails...

"You may be my mate, but I will never be yours."

At the same time, many other things are playing in the background...
The new king has to take his new place after the death of the old one... and for this to become a reality, the new king needs to choose his new queen... a woman that can not be his fated mate!!!
Can this bond break just like that and what will cost to both Knight and London???
Everyone in Rathe is waiting breathless to see what is the fate of the kingdom when many people from behind the scenes are trying to mess with the royal family....
Is there hope for the kingdom or they are doomedd to eternal darkness???

"I'm still only yours to hate."

I loved London and Knight very much!!!
The truth is that Knight was acting like a jerk to the biggest part of the book, but in my eyes he got redeemed for every awful thing that he did to his mate before...
London's pain was so palpable in the beginning, but I admired her strength and determination to embrace her dark side...
These two were explosive when they were together... Their love-hate moments was so hot to witness!!!
Yes, they fought against their bond, but they were really hopeless from the very beginning...

"I want to fucking ruin you."

I like this world that Meagan Brandy and Amo Jones have created together...
Yes, sometimes I felt confused with some abrupt changes, but the truth is that this duo had given me a hell of a ride in here!!!
And of course, I am impatiently waiting for the stories of the rest of the Kings of Rathe and especially Legend's!!! Please, let Haide become his mate... This girl had gotten under my skin already and I believe, under Legend's too!!!

"In Rathe we bleed..."

AHHH!! This was everything and more! Usually fantasy takes me a week or so to get through bc it’s a lot for me…but I devoured this duet in less than 48 hours. I could not put it down. This was a fantasy/paranormal romance I didn’t know I needed.

Returning to Rathe, we find Knight Deveraux, Lord of Rathe and heir to the throne of Dark Magic fighting against fate. I don’t want to give anything away..so this is all I will say. That TWIST was so unexpected and did not see coming. This was such an amazing conclusion to London and Knight’s story!

This was so much better than I could have imagined. I loved the mystery and suspense aspect to this story…All of it was perfection. Loved how many secrets were uncovered. I cannot wait to see what else Meagan and Amo write in this world.

Thank you to Meagan and team for the eARC.

Ok, I was a little nervous going in for one because I knew after finishing Fate of a Royal that this would be the book that determined if I was going to stick with the series or not! My biggest issue thus far has been the lack of world building but I think it might just be because neither of the authors have a ton of experience writing in the fantasy genre. However, it seems like I got used to their writing a bit more with this book. We did get little tidbits of information sporadically throughout that were enough to satisfy me but I don’t think regular fantasy readers would feel the same way! 🤣

One thing that took me by surprise was how emotional I got while reading! There were moments where I was swooning so hard I wanted to cry and others that absolutely broke me with emotional sucker punches straight to my heart. I never thought that Knight would be capable of bringing me to tears with his heartfelt declarations and sacrifices for London and her happiness but here we are! 🥹 Don’t get me wrong, from the beginning Knight and London had a lot of stuff to work through and 99% of the time it wasn’t pretty but the journey to their HEA was so worth it! Their banter, tension, and overall obsession with each other were always at the forefront of their interactions and I could not get enough of them!

As I was hoping for and also anticipated, there were lots of twists and turns, some that I had gleefully predicted and others that completely took me by surprise! I also really liked how they balanced the story progression with the world expansion in the second half of the book, and the introduction of Haide? Talk about ICONIC! She definitely stole the show in the best way whenever she popped up and I hope that we get lots more of her and her friendship with London! I absolutely loved watching them egg each other on when it came to raising all of the chaos! 😈🙌🏻 And that teaser we got at the end of the book about the next brother’s duet? NOTHING BUT HYPE! I am already so looking forward to his story with his future mate but lemme just say, if there isn’t tons of primal play, imma be so disappointed! 😭

Overall, while the overall world building and magic system could still use some development, if Amo and Meagan are able to keep the same energy that they had for London and Knight’s duet for the rest of the books this is going to be a great series!

3.5 stars! The second book was cute. I loved all the playful teasing and family forming that happened amongst the main individuals. BUT, I still really struggled understanding some of the events in the book. There’s a little bit of a disconnect between the author and reader because clear explanations aren’t given as to what’s happening at various times. I think the series has potential and I’m curious to see how the next book is come 2024.

This book is pure freaking breathtaking insanity from Meagan Brandy and Amo Jones. Fate of A Faux has messed up my heart so beautifully! The chaos of raw feels. The jaw dropping twists hitting me constantly. The filthy epic nuclear hot passion. Knight and London own me completely. This dark fantasy fated mate romance was perfection. I am so obsessed with everything and I don't have enough words to tell you just how much. I can just warn you that Meagan Brandy and Amo Jones will destroy your heart thoroughly in Fate of A Faux.

This is the ending of Knight Devereux and London Crow's story. I don’t want to give you spoiler because this second book of the duet is plotted so wickedly that you would want to read all the twists yourself. The end of book one reveals that London is actually Villaina, daughter of The Slasher aka the stygian who is responsible for the biggest mass killing of Dark Kingdom. She is the fated mate of Knight, one of the Lords of Rathe and heir to the kingdom. Knight rejected their bond because she was a Giftless but now the reason is bigger. They hate each other and London has enemies after enemies coming after her. Will they find their happily ever after?

This book is like the baby of Brayshaw High and Elite Kings. There. I said it. London reminds me so much of Raven and I am not saying Meagan wrote that part because I don't know for sure. But..but..she is a bada&&. I ship her freaking hard. She was labeled a killer when she was a child herself, banished from the World she belonged to and was destined to rule, her mate rejected her and tried to ruin her..and what did our queen do? She kicked back and fought fiercely and took down the real monsters while saving the day herself. London, I bow down. Then the Lords of Rathe reminds me of my Elite Kings boys! I never thought anything can give me back that exhilarating feels of that world but the author duo did it! Again, I am not saying that Amo wrote Knight's part..but he just obliterated my heart. He is definitely an over the top jealous possessive antihero. He had to reject their fated mate bond but it wasn't only for his duties to his kingdom. He needed to protect London too. I absolutely love to see an alpha break down for his mate. He is ruthless and edgy but for London, his heart is different.

I swear my heart was beating wildly throughout this book. I cursed, I screamed, most of the times it felt like I am losing my ever loving mind. And I am so addicted. The angst here was breaking my heart over and over again. Rejected mate is always a heartbreaking trope. I mean what can be more angsty than loving someone and needing someone to feel complete but not being able to have that person? The dynamic duo just set out to rip my heart out. I stopped and threw my kindle way too many times. If book one was intense, book two took it to a thousand times higher level. Knight and London are two parts of a soul and together they will rule the dark kingdom. The fantasy part was brilliant but the romance is the power of this story. The twists? I did not see them coming at all. I was completely lost in the magical world and I am still in shock! The power plays. The mind games. The epic feels. The sinful lust. One of my top 2023 read!

Fate of A Faux is the conclusion to London and Knight's story, but is the second book in Amo & Meagan's Lords of Rathe series.

This story continues on where Fate of A Royal ended. If you read my review for that one, then you know as a PNR reader, I had mixed feelings on it but was still intrigued enough to continue the series. And I am absolutely glad that I did.

Fate of A Faux definitely has more world building and paranormal elements in it and isn't as heavy on the romance, which is what I like in my PNR books. For me, this book actually has a great balance of the paranormal aspects and the romance/relationship aspects.

There is a lot more action and twists in this second book. We get to know more about London and her background; we see more of a connection between London and Knight and not just the hot chemistry between them.

The fact that this second book is more enticing and enjoyable than the first is a great indication that Amo and Meagan are learning how to write in this genre and continuously making each book better than the last.

I am looking forward to seeing them develop this world more and learning more about the other Lords and their stories.

4.5 STARS ⭐️

This took me on a wild ride, like a roller coaster. It will leave you wondering what’s going on and what’s happening next like I couldn’t even wait for the page to finish reading before the next.

I neither liked nor hated Knight cause the hell he put London through made me seriously want to slap the sh!+ outta him, but I do love the brothers too and each is just as difficult and dark as Knight. Despite the reasons behind why Knight and his brothers acted this way towards London I do love the chemistry and the bond that they have, but I think I most felt more was Ben. When London and he reconnected in a way she didn’t realise I knew it couldn’t be true, kind of made me teary, but the story unveils deceit, secrets and a betrayal I didn’t expect, yet I’m curious for the next books.

"Forget who you became and remember who you were."

The non-stop action had me hooked from the beginning. This world and its characters pulled me in, and I instantly loved them. This story will have you completely locked in, forgetting reality exists. Their world is that addicting.

London and the guys had a tough time in this book. There were several roadblocks and miscommunication. But when things went downhill, they fought hard for each other. Their love and loyalty were everything. London's character changed, and I was here for it. Maybe changed is the wrong word. She found her missing pieces and her confidence and looked stunning, wrapped in blood, darkness, and chaos.

It's a great story, well-written, and I hope to see more of this world.

When I tell you I couldn’t get enough of this book. Didn’t want to put it down. I legit read chapters in between sets at a concert. Dreamt about it after finishing it. It was EVERYTHING. I absolutely loved Fate of a Royal and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this after that cliffhanger and it SURPASSED all my expectations with how amazing it was. The story line, the fantasy world created with dragons and demons and fae and other gifted. The war between realms. The fight for love and against love. The loss you felt for the fated; trying to do what was right for the kingdom- family and blood v a stranger. Sometimes it isn’t always about blood. This was SO GOOD. Forbidden, fated mates, dark, delicious; and THE DRAGON🥹 iykyk. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🔥🔥 I CANNOT WAIT for the rest of this series. #bookstagram #fateofaroyal #fateofafaux #newrelease #fantasy #fantasyromance #dragons #fae #gifted #demons #littledemon @darkromancemommy @meaganbrandyauthor

I’m in my happy place because this story got good 😈. Really really good 😈😈. Meagan and Amo found their groove in this book and it was an engrossing read.

There were still some confusing things but most of the confusing parts of the story got an explanation later in the book.

There is still a lot to be resolved and I’m stoked to find out we will be getting more books

“You have to be careful who you fall apart in front of, because most people will steal bits that belong to you without the intention of giving it back.”
-London

So, what happened? The first book was good. Almost great, but there were a few things that personally irked me. Even so, this sequel was 100% needed. Then it arrived. Good lordy. The first few chapters felt like it was written by people who never spoke to each other and they were just winging it. The dual POV was so aggravating. It felt like two different events happening in two worlds far away from the other. The plot holes were so big that Evil Knievilel wouldn’t dare jump them. This was almost a DNF at chapter 3. Unfortunately my need to know if London avenged Ben’s death made me push through.

Here are a few things that were beyond annoying for me with this book. One chapter was almost completely CTRL + C then CTRL + P from book one. It drove me bonkers reading the exact words for what felt like 10 pages. Seriously? There was no better way to set that up then copy and paste? Then the next scene London is talking to a group of men in shock and the storyline is lost because the previous chapter was from a different book. Nothing makes sense as to what she is saying or how she is behaving. Until the next chapter where Knight confesses he did a stupid thing.

Dude. You make me read the same chapter again because of laziness, for lack of a better word. Then the next chapter just doesn’t make sense and contradicts the behaviors and characteristics of the characters. Finally things are somewhat explained in the following chapter to show what? A moment of weakness or vulnerability from the MMC? It didn’t play out that way. Instead it left me wanting to chuck my Kindle.

This ended not being a DNF. It just took me almost a week to finish it. It also took that long to get into it. It may have been around the time the dragon came and “rescued” London before my attention was attained by this. There are to be more books in this series, about the brothers and their fated mates. This will be the last one for me, though. No need to put myself through that again.

The girl does love me, even if she hasn’t spoken the words. She doesn’t need to.
Look what my baby did for me. That says it all.
She saved Rathe as we know it.

Was this book chaotic? Yes. Was I confused the hell out of my mind for way too much in this book? Yes. Could the world-building and the events have been a lot better written? Yes. Do I still have unanswered questions racking in my brain? Yes.

Did I enjoy the hell out of this book and binge it? HELL YES! and, ladies and gentlemen, this is the power of being a mood reader and why I will always and forever be one

This book had way too many events to encounter but let me tell you, it was definitely a wild ride. Some things in Rathe are still unclear to me but, I am hoping they will be clarified more in the future books.

My palm shakes and I close my eyes as a shiver races down my spine, but the second I do, I see him.
Dark and deadly. Strong. All-consuming and life altering. Safe.

London and Knight’s relationship definitely faces some ups and downs and their relationship spans throughout the whole book. Unlike the first book, this one also takes place exclusively in Rathe.

London and Knight are definitely more intimate throughout the book but still, I feel like their intimacy is more spoken of or thought of than it actually takes place. Also, their mating bond evolves and London finally begins to find herself and realize that she has never been a plain human, she just needed to uncover her powers.

The bitch is crazy. If I can’t earn her forgiveness, I’ll fucking take it from her without her even knowing.

I really loved the evolvement of London in this book! Especially after Knight modified her memories and gave her knowledge of being Villaina Lacroix so she was able to begin uncovering her problems.

I should hate him, but I don’t know how.
Not anymore.
Not after everything.
And for that.. I hate myself.

The development of London and Knigths relationship was actually beautiful because it was not easy. They had so many ups and downs and both were fighting for their feelings and their mating bond but, in the end, fate prevailed.

London found an unexpected ally in a dragon and I loved that, in the end, it ended up being Ben! Imho, London and Ben reunited was the best thing to happen in this book.

London also took a detour to Exhile Island where she met Haide who was quite a crucial part in the rest of the book. It is obvious that the next duet (or book?) will feature Legend and Haide as the MCs and I cannot wait for their story!

Fuck, but I hated her.
But I hated even more that I didn’t hate her at all.

Also, let’s talk about the Queen ending up in Exhile Island? And Tempest being alive after all and managing to duck all the efforts to find her? There is definitely some leftover drama that will continue in the next books, which I love in a series like this!

This book was just as confusing as the first, and now I have even more questions that are left unanswered…

The writing is all over the place. Things are not properly described, which makes it hard to imagine what the heck is going on. The last 30% of the book dropped some major information, but there was no context as to how that came to be. How is Temperance alive? We literally know nothing about this character (other than the fact that she was supposed to be dead, and a triplet with Knight and Sinner) then all of a sudden she’s alive and betrays her brothers. I want to know how she’s alive and why she betrayed them!! And she was working with the mom/ ex Queen the whole time?? I want to know why they decided to plot against their family all of a sudden. Also, Ben is a dragon all of a sudden? I thought he was dead. How does a human randomly become a dragon? Lastly, how are all the Deveraux brothers demons??

So much information was randomly dropped, and there was no explanation as to how things came to be. Nothing made sense, and due to the lack of descriptive details so many scenes felt out of context. Come on authors, you can’t leave out essential information. We. Need. Details.

On a positive note, I thought it was very cute how all the brothers became King together. The bromance and the brotherly bond was adorable. However, sometimes when they were all together it was not clear who was talking which again added to the confusion of this book.

Ok, so I'm not gonna lie. This was dark and twisted in all the best ways. The storyline was great, but there are still a ton of unanswered questions. We learned a lot, but it kind of felt like most of the issues were pushed under the rug. Told who did it but didn't go much into detail as to why. That's what is preventing this book from being a 5-star book in my mind. I almost stopped reading around chapters 13-14 because I was so confused. Yes, I pushed through, and things came together. However, at one point, I thought I was losing my mind. I had to go back and make sure I was still reading the second book because it was word for word scenes out of the first. Then, after I realized I was indeed reading the second book, I thought the authors and editors made a huge mistake and overlooked that they put some chapters from the first book in with the 2nd book and just didn't catch it. It was so confusing, but eventually, I caught on to what was going on. Other than that, this was a great read. I can't wait to read Legend's book. Haide sounds like my kind of girl!!! Hopefully, we will get some more insight into Temperance and why she did what she did and where she was all along.

"But I hated even more that I didn't hate her at all."

"I should end you myself, but.....But a Queen could never kill her King."-Fate of a Faux, By Meagan Brandy & Amo Jones

Ahhh!!! I am deaaaad over this book you guys!!! Listen, book 1 was insane and I loved it, but this one...this one!!!!! I don't think I will ever stop thinking about all that it was. I bow down to these two queen authors, yes, mams!!! We are here for it, ladies!!

This was book two in their Dark Romantasy series, the Lord's of Rathe. This tied up London and Knights story. Whewwww, the enemies to lovers were high stakes people. Sheeeesh the tension 🥵🥵. Absolutely out of bounds!

Perfect conclusion to this duet. Fighting, loving, mystery, suspense....murder...dragons....and an absolute tsunami of passion. It's all the things. Oh, and the MASSIVE plot twist 50% in, I can't! Words won't do it justice, so just read this wild ride. These two kept us on our toes for sure.

Love the little surprises within this one 😉😉 so so fun. And I can't wait until book three!!! Cause I know it will be epic. 10/10 ride of your life!! Enjoyed every moment!! @meaganbrandyauthor @darkromancemommy #lordsofrathe #fateofafaux #meaganbrandy #amojones #darkromantasy #londonandknight #queensofdarkness #booksandchatswithnickib

The conclusion to this new magic filled dark pnr fantasy duet is here and answers all of your questions from book one. With twists and turns around every corner, what will London do with the new knowledge of not being the human she thought she was. What will Knight Deveraux do between choosing his family birthright or the girl that drives him insane? Who will reign as King and Queen of Rathe? Knight and London are the perfect dark romance couple with passion and fight. This is a dark paranormal, enemies to lovers romance that’s full of action. I could not put this one down and loved all the strong characters. There are some adult topics and themes so be aware. Told in dual POV
