There’s good talk of men being in therapy which you don’t see represented in romance books as much as women in therapy. So that was nice to see!* I loved Scarlett! She was down to earth, calm &collected. She balanced Tobias’ chaos. I loved that she was open with branching out &enjoying things she wasn’t use to trying.* Literally every single spicey scene was 🔥🔥. The bad boy/good girl with exhibitionism &sneaking around 🥵.* I love how all the different characters came into play from all the different books. You got to see their relationships grow &expand.     Wild Card by Maggie Rawdon has completely stolen my heart and secured its place as one of my favorite reads in recent memory. As a huge fan of Pick Six, I was skeptical if Rawdon could surpass her previous work, but she absolutely did with Tobias and Scarlett's story.

Instead of relying on unnecessary drama, Tobias and Scarlett solved their problems through open and honest discussions, which I found incredibly refreshing and realistic.

    Scarlett's thirtieth birthday has not gone according to plan, and the most unlikely person has come to her rescue, the ever annoying but disgustingly hot Tobias Westfield. Wanting to end her terrible day on a high note, she and the bane of her existence come to a truce, and have a little one off fun.

    When they finally decide to turn their one night into a regular thing, a scandal hits and Tobias ends up in a motorcycle accident. With no one else able to help Tobias get used to his new normal after the accident, Scarlett offers to help since she has the most down time, and the pair soon rekindle the spark between them. Scarlett soon learns that Tobias isn't entirely who she thought he was, and that makes him even harder to resist.

    I've been waiting for Tobias to get a book ever since he popped up in his brother Easton's in The Plays & Penalties series, and was beyond excited to get my hands on Wild Card! While I did enjoy Tobias and Scarlett's story, it wasn't entirely what I expected. I was so hoping for tons of snarky banter and killer tension between Scarlett and Tobias from their interactions in Joss and Colt's book, and was hoping that would be a main focus in theirs, but sadly it was not.

    Scarlett and Tobias's story is definitely heavy on the steam, and that was not disappointing at all. Tobias has an absolutely filthy mouth, and knows how to use it too! These two were off the charts hot, and their sexual chemistry was crazy. I just wanted wished we'd seen them develop more emotionally as a couple to really make their connection more believable.

    Overall though, I really loved the Seattle Phantom series and Tobias's story, and cannot wait for more from Maggie! Maybe a certain little sister will be getting her own book in the future?

    This is book 3 Seattle Phantom series.

    Tobais and Scarlett these to fit perfectly. She loves to hate him until she doesn't. He loves to antagonise her and get her fired up.
    When Tobias swoops in to saves her from a date mishap the night ends steamy. The two decide one night wasn't enough and enjoy each other more then a possible sex tape leak puts a damper on things. When roles are reversed and Scarlett swoops in to assist him, she starts to see behind the hard exterior.
    Spending more time together they see there is more then meets the eye with each other and the twos connection and chemistry builds.
    Tobias is falling for Scarlett but isn't sure he could be what she needs or deserves but when someone else wants a shot with her he makes it clear she is his.
    This book is full of extra spice and banter. I love his nickname spitfire for her. I enjoyed this whole series great job Maggie!

Tobias wants a repeat, and so they slip again, but this time, they take things in a different direction and record their interaction. But their world comes tumbling down when not only is Tobias alerted to a video being leaked, but he's in an accident, leaving him unable to play football. Forced to recover at home, those close to him become worried he's going dark and enlist Scarlett to keep him on the straight and narrow the only problem is they were going fine before everything happen. How long will they be able to keep their distance before that chemistry and tension push them back together ♡
