This is the fifth and final book in the series, it completes the series and links back to the prequel in a way that readers will seriously want to read the whole series to get the maximum impact. We have been in the dark since the prequel when Afton became a runaway bride. She returns to Glenlaig for closure but there is the potential for so much more. A fabulous fun read with a great HEA. Can’t wait for the spin-off in 2024.

What a perfect conclusion to the series! The circle closes with Afton returning home and finally getting her well-deserved HEA. And no one can do a happy ending like Kait Nolan - I swear you'll hear violins and angels sing! I loved to see Afton regrow roots and Hamish accepting dents in his shiny knight's armour. What a beautiful finale!

It's always a pleasure to read Ms. Nolan's stories. Single Dad in a Kilt closes the series and leaves a full promise for another series to come. In this book, Hamish and Afton are given the chance to work on their feelings with Hamish's daughter - Freya - blessings. But life is not easy and the couple goes from bliss to hell in a short time. The story is colorful, it has humor, and beautiful descriptions of places, people, and food, providing great entertainment!
