Creed is one of the soldiers who were lied to and injected with an experimental serum at Area 51, a soldier whose unique ability to travel within and communicate with the wind makes him his country's greatest weapon. Within him is a great power, and a darkness, he secretly fears he cannot control. He is losing himself and his humanity and he doesn't know how to stop it from happening.

But then he meets Addie, the beautiful and intelligent scientist and the daughter of the man who did this to him, who's come to right her father's wrong. The minute they connect, he feels drawn to her. The minute he touches her, he feels the darkness inside him calm, and an obsessive passion stirs between them. Possessiveness rises inside Creed and his desire for her is all consuming.

Soon though, they will learn that Addie is his one true mate, his lifebond, the light to his darkness. A phenomenon no one quite understands and must be kept secret. But even as their bond develops into something greater than they imagined possible, danger erupts as some of Creed's kind rise up and become a threat. Creed is the only soldier powerful enough to end it all, but as he calls on that part of himself, the darkness stirs. The bond between Creed and Addie might be the only thing that saves the world. It also might be the death of Addie.

If that did not get you, the detailed glossary of the terms before the first line of the story would. I was pulled in further by the glossary. I wanted to experience them in the story. I have to say that I am very excited for the next part of 'He is Creed'. I don't want to give away anything. This was full service captivation. There was much to be fascinated about and much to think on. Could this happen now? Is this happening now. How far will one go to have the ultimate weapon? What would happen when they could not longer control that weapon? I loved it from the cover to the last tap on my screen. I have already pre-order the next installment. I will most certainly be re-reading this one before the when the next is released.Along with all that was previously stated, there were a large number of terms to encounter in the story. This part did not hit all of them but there are still two more parts to consume.     This book was so different from what I'm used to with Lisa Renee Jones’ stories and I loved every moment in this paranormal tale of supersoldiers that were created by alien DNA!

    I shouldn't have been surprised at how much I became immersed in this story. Just as with her other books, Lisa Renee Jones pulls you in from page one and keeps you entranced until the very end.

    Creed is obsessed with Addie. She's the most dangerous decision he's ever made. She's sure that he can protect them from everyone and anything; especially from her father, the General, who's the mastermind for creating the supersoldiers.

    If you love good tales with wonderful characters, intrigue, and hot steamy scenes, you will love this series! Highly recommend you give this series a try! You won't be disappointed.

This story will draw you in and keep you on the edge of your seat as the story introduces you to the background and all the different players in this elite group of special forces supersoldiers that were betrayed and are now dealing with the fallout.

    Supersoldier Creed Monroe and scientist Dr. Addie Lawrence’s are the main characters and I was fully enthralled by their connection and this story.

    Dr. Addie Lawrence arrives at Nevada’s Area 51, otherwise known as Groom Lake it’s known for its government conspiracy theories and is home to her father’s base command, and now it is officially her new home. She is here to get to the bottom of reports that she was given anonymously and get to the truth behind what happened and who is responsible for this grave incident.

    Creed is one of the Special Forces soldiers who were given immunizations laced with alien DNA, and now is living with the consequences, a GTECH soldier who can not only travel with the wind but also have superhuman strength and are immune to human illness. The perfect weapon. Creed is alone in this world, battling enemies on all fronts—the perception of him, the fear and judgment attached to who he has become, as well as whatever horrible things he sees with every mission he undertakes.

    This was a short okay read. However, as I was reading, I felt that I had already read this book before. Also, just two weeks ago, I had began trying to remember who the author was that wrote about “Windwalkers” (because I wanted to read the series). Sadly, because I love reading books, I couldn’t recall the name of the author (I might try going through my “Following”). This book reads almost (if not exactly) like the book that I had read about 4 to 5 years ago and it was a complete book and not broken up into 3 books (and there were other books in the series). I wish that I had saved it in my Kindle Collection (I’ve got to find that book!). I only gave this book a 3 star rating, because the plot was interesting and the windwalking is interesting. Because, I can surmise how books 2 & 3 of Creed will read…I will not be purchasing those books…I’m just that sure that, this book is a replica (sad to say).

    ***UPDATE: After looking through my reviews (which took forever), I found that I did in fact read this book (on May 12, 2018). However, it was titled: “Michael” (by the same author). The book under that title is no longer available on Kindle, only paperback and audio (and it is a complete book). The same goes for the other two books in the series (which are about different characters).

    PLOT: Amelia (Addie) is working with her father (General Lawrence), whom she is trying to keep an eye. She has been anonymously informed of some of his evil and power hungry decisions.

    Upon arrival, she instantly meets Creed (who is supposedly different from the other Windwalkers, but we’re never told how). Creed is mysterious and they are both instantly attracted to each other.

    They try to work together, to get down to the lies and deceit of her father, while Creed tries to help his fellow Windwalkers.

    I haven’t read anything by Lisa Renee Jones in a while. I love what I have read by her but I just have been into so many different authors and genre that I haven’t been keeping up with a lot of old favourites.

    Anyway, I liked this book a lot. Well written and kept me reading.
    I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

    Determined to find out exactly what is going on within the military, the alien DNA, that her father is the one in charge, and with some of the soldiers involved in the experiment already showing signs of becoming even more deadly, it's a struggle to keep her lives between her research and Creed separate.
    It's an amazing storyline, one you could not put down,... and I am going to be impatient for more.
