Lake Mistletoe #3

Stranded in Lake Mistletoe

Rate this book
Balancing my career with being a single dad has become a bit of a challenge. According to my daughter, Cobie, I’m a world-traveling workaholic who doesn’t spend enough quality time with her. So, this year, I’m whisking her off to Paris for a two week Christmas vacation of a lifetime and leaving work behind, except for a brief stop in Lake Mistletoe, Idaho to snap photos for a travel magazine feature.

Cobie and I are forced to seek refuge in the town's cozy Gingerbread Inn when one of our bags, the one holding our passports, goes missing. As days turn into nights, I start to discover the charm of Lake Mistletoe and its tight-knit community. Along the way, I find myself slowly letting go of my rigid work-focused mindset, and opening up to new experiences and relationships, while Cobie embraces the small town ambiance.

An unlikely bond develops with Sela Prince, a local with a warm heart and a penchant for seeing the beauty in everyday things. I’m attracted to her tenacity and vibrance for life. As we share stories, laughter, and challenges, our connection deepens and I’m finding it hard to remember the reasons why I can't stay.

When the holidays are over and our blissful bubble bursts, I have to decide if I want to return to my fast-paced life or embrace the newfound love and sense of belonging I’ve found in Lake Mistletoe. With Sela and Cobie by my side, can I take a chance on a different kind of future?

This was a slow burn but also felt rushed at the same time, I know that sounds crazy. I gave Lake Mistletoe and Smitten in Lake Mistletoe both 5 star but this one just didn’t do it for me like those did. There was not enough of their love story storyline and then bam they kiss and are in bed. It’s almost as if she tried to fit too many Christmas activities into this book so it’s just a few pages of ice skating, cookie decorating, etc. I will say the second half was better than the first but I still feel it was mixing something for me. Maybe it’s just me though, so definitely give them all a try!

5 Star review of Stranded In Lake Mistletoe by Amber Kelly

I love small town romances, add in that our hero is a single dad and I could not wait to read. Amber Kelly has an affinity for writing these stories, her characters are engaging and easy to relate too.

When workaholic Isaac and his daughter Cobie stop in Lake Mistletoe, Idaho to take some photos for a travel article, the town welcomes them in.

Sela is their guide and I loved the connection that she made with both Isaac and Cobie. To me Lake Mistletoe seems like the perfect place to be.

I was hooked on the story that Ms.Kelly wove from the first chapter to the last and it left me with a smile on my face

Will the magic of the town, the people and Sela convince Isaac to slow down and find love and happiness?

One click and find out.

"Stranded in Lake Mistletoe," the third installment in Amber Kelly's "A Holly, Jolly, and Steamy Christmas Tale," can be enjoyed as a standalone book.

“Home is where your people are. It’s where you find peace and solace. It’s the soft place you land after spreading your wings.”

Isaac Ralston, a travel magazine photographer, has made significant sacrifices for his career, including precious time with his daughter during Christmas. This year, he is determined to keep his promise to spend the holiday with her. Their journey begins with a work assignment in Lake Mistletoe, Idaho, before they head to Paris.

From the moment they arrive in Lake Mistletoe, they are enveloped in the warmth of the community. The locals are caring, amicable, and welcoming, embracing them like family. It's here that Isaac crosses paths with Sela Prince, a kind-hearted local who finds beauty in the simple things. Their connection is immediate.

Isaac and Cobie, his daughter, discover the magic and charm of Lake Mistletoe. They embrace new experiences and relationships, while Cobie revels in the small-town atmosphere. However, on the day they were set to travel to Paris, Isaac realizes their passports are missing, and they find themselves stranded, celebrating an unexpected Christmas in Lake Mistletoe.

The story paints a vivid picture of the enchanting Lake Mistletoe, and it's easy to wish such a place existed. The small-town Christmas atmosphere is beautifully captured, complete with heartwarming traditions like baking Christmas cookies, searching for the elf, the Christmas Market, the Boat Christmas Parade, among other traditions. Isaac feels a deep sense of belonging to Lake Mistletoe. He was happier there.

The spirit of the community shines through as everyone comes together to help each other. The book wonderfully portrays the essence of Christmas and the joy of quality time spent with loved ones, which Isaac and Cobie relish. Their bonding and the moments they share are utterly endearing.

Cobie's interactions with the inn's guests are heartwarming, and she forms a special connection with Sela.

The palpable connection between Sela and Isaac is evident, and their relationship feels comfortable and genuine. Their love story, while happening quickly, is quite charming, and the romantic moments between them are both sweet and spicy, perfectly complementing the plot.

"Stranded in Lake Mistletoe" is a heartwarming holiday read that captures the essence of Christmas in a small town. If you're in search of a delightful holiday book, this one is definitely worth a read. 🎄📖❤️

Stranded In Lake Mistletoe was sweet and fun holiday read and I loved it. In fact I loved it so much that I read it in one sitting. And that little wink to Balsam Ridge series was a hidden gem. Anyway that was such a good story to start my holiday reading and it's never too early for a Christmas story. Isaac and Sela's story was so sweet and drama free. And I loved the relationship between Isaac and his daughter Cobie. Lake Mistletoe is the perfect place to be stranded on Christmas. The place has its magic but most importantly the people who live there make that magic possible. I loved it how Isaac and Cobie almost immediately became part of the community and the Christmas activities of the city. Isaac comes to Lake Mistletoe for a little work assignment and Cobie is with him because they have to go to Paris after that. But the city and it's magic worms its way in their hearts . And not only that. Because they both are smitten not only with the city but with Sela too . Sela works at the Mayor Office and is their guide. And the attraction between Isaac and Sela is undeniable and their chemistry is of the charts. And she was so good with Cobie. The local girl group has their own shenanigans and I want to be friends with them. Even want to move there if such a place exists. This book is a perfect holiday read that you don't want to miss. You can be sure that I'll binge read the other two books in the Lake Mistletoe series because there is no such thing as too much holiday romance reading. And even though that Paris trip was postponed the epilogue make it even better . Because Isaac, Cobie and Sela will always have Paris.

Please tell me Lake Mistletoe is a real place and that I can move there, or at least book a Christmas stay at the Gingerbread Inn! With all the hallmarks of, well, a Hallmark Christmas movie, this mystical small town in the Idaho mountains will make you eager to dive into all things Christmas.

Isaac Ralston is in Lake Mistletoe with his eight-year-old daughter, Cobie, to shoot some pictures for the travel magazine he works for and then jet off to Paris for a special holiday with his little girl. You’ve heard the saying “When man plans, God laughs,” right? But this time, I think it's Santa laughing because the day they’re supposed to leave for Paris, Isaac and Cobie's passports are nowhere to be found.

In just a couple of days, Isaac and Cobie are enveloped by the people, places, and events of Lake Mistletoe, so extending their stay is no hardship. And then there's Sela Price, the local who’s assigned to show Isaac around town but becomes so much more to both him and Cobie.

Seriously, if you’re not ready to be infused with the essence Christmas, do not read this romance. The warm, welcoming people, the fun Christmas events, and the depth of heart overwhelmed me and made me feel like a part of this town, and I couldn’t get enough.

I love this one so much I immediately grabbed the other two books in the series so I could get more of Lake Mistletoe. Charming, heartwarming, and enchanting, this sweet romance will make you a believer of Christmas magic, so don’t miss it!

Small Town and the magic of Christmas are the backdrops of Isaac and Sela’s story.

Isaac is looking for some quality time with his daughter, but before a trip to Paris, he needs to stop for photos of the quaint town. As they are embraced by the town, and included in the holiday celebrations, they become part of this family. When the time to leave becomes hindered, is this a sign or will they make it to Paris?

A delightful holiday story, the characters are relatable, and the message of family is strong. The magic of Christmas is present all throughout the story.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

This was a super sweet, wholesome Christmas romance with all the hallmark movie vibes! Dad to Cobie, Isaac is struggling with guilt and how to give his daughter everything while feeling lost himself. Little did he know staying in the small town of Mistletoe Lake would be the answer and she’d be the one to help set him on the path to finding love and his home.

Cobie was a highlight for me, she was so sweet and came out with the best one liners. I loved the connection she formed with Sela and her family members.

“𝙃𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚. 𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚. 𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙛𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨.”

I did feel like there was a lot going on with the side characters and I found it hard to keep up at times. I really loved Isaac and Sela and wish we got more from their connection as it seemed to focus a lot on the plot and felt almost rushed at the end.

Isaac's finally gotten his daughter Cobie for the holidays, so he's taking her to Paris to celebrate. They have one little pit stop on the way, Lake Mistletoe, to take some photos for his job. He didn't plan on getting stuck there after losing their passports. Nor did he plan on meeting someone who makes him want to stick around. Will the magic of this small town, the magic of the holidays, and most importantly, the magic of love, be enough to keep them here with Sela and the lovely inhabitants of her small town?

Isaac and Sela's holiday love story is like a warm hug just in time for the season. Their attraction is delicious, and the way they fit so seamlessly together is so sweet. I adored little Cobie and the other residents of Lake Mistletoe, but most of all I love Sela and Isaac - they're so sweet and perfect for each other.

This holiday feel-good romance, is set in Lake Mistletoe, and once you read it, you’ll wish it was a real place so you could visit and befriend just about everyone in town. Stranded in Lake Mistletoe features Isaac Ralston, a divorced father of an adorable girl, Cobie, who have a stop in Lake Mistletoe, Idaho, right before their final destination to Paris so he can do a photo shoot.

They are only in town a few days and the town’s holiday magic becomes evident pretty quickly and Cobie couldn’t be more delighted to be there. She’s made friends, baked cookies, made crafts, plays in the snow, and of course the big highlight of attending all the special events in town like the annual Boat Parade, and searching for the elf. Her dad has always been a wanderer as his profession of a professional photographer takes him all over the world, but with the chance encounter of his local tour guide, Sela Price, he begins to think about “what if.”

The author spins such magical words and has such a vivid imagination when describing this town, the people, and every little detail. I am in awe of her writing skills and get lost in her books.

The magic also happens pretty quickly between Isaac and Sela, who feel an attraction, but try to keep it professional as he is leaving in a few days, until as the book title suggests, he gets Stranded in Lake Mistletoe forcing them to spend quality time together which is no hardship.

I have read the previous books in this series and love the interconnecting characters and getting a peek into their lives right now and how of course they are all into matchmaking our hero and heroine. This is a quick read with little angst, lots of charm and holiday magic, and a HEA.

Looking for a sweet strangers to lovers romance that also has a single dad and a small-town vibe, then look no further than Stranded in Lake Mistletoe. Ms. Kelly delivers a story that is full of friendship, warmth and happiness. Who knew that being stranded in a quaint small-town could have you and your daughter falling in love and changing your life forever. Mr. Amber always gives us a storyline that pulls on our heartstrings and has us unable to put her books down.
Isaac is a career-driven magazine photographer who has made some changes to his life, lately, for his daughter, Cobie. Keeping his promise of spending time together, they find themselves in Lake Mistletoe, but not for a vacation but for one last work-related job before they start their Christmas vacation. Their time there turned into so much more. Cobie made friends, and was welcomed by the townspeople with open arms and her father made a mark with Sela, their guide while they were there. There is an instant attraction between Isaac and Sela but he is just passing through but the pull is too strong to fight. Their chemistry is off the charts but is it enough to have Isaac and Cobie stay in Lake Mistletoe or will Sela follow them to Paris?
This book will have you feeling all warm and fuzzy. This holiday romance is a definite must-read and I highly suggest picking up Stranded in Lake Mistletow and fall in love with Isaac and Sela's love story with a wonderful Cobie added in for that little bit of extra sweetness.

I really enjoy reading a Christmas story from time to time and I've been loving & enjoying the books by this author that I've only recently discovered. I always love when authors write kids in a book as they always have an innocence about them and their banter is just so enjoyable. I loved the Christmas spirit but also the chemistry between Isaac and Sela. It was such a great enjoyable read where my cheeks hurt from laughing, having a smile but there were also precious moments that made your heart warm. I thoroughly loved my time in Lake Mistletoe.

When Isaac and Cobie arrive in Lake Mistletoe, there's already Christmas spirit hanging around in town. Before heading towards Paris to spend some quality time together, Isaac has to finish his work assignment but he's grateful to be spending some time with his daughter. Sela has been living in town for as long as she can remember and is showing around Isaac & Cobie around the little town with a lot of proud. There's an undeniable chemistry between Isaac & Sela but there's also the propect of him leaving in a few days, although you just never know at this time a year of what will come next. There's a lot to do around this time of year and maybe, just maybe, everyone's wish may come true this year...

Amber Kelly has done it again. I seriously hope she will always write a Christmas romance story. I just loved Isaac, Cobie & Sela's story.

Becoming stranded in Lake Mistletoe wasn't so bad for Isaac who is used to traveling the world for work. This time he wants to travel the world with his daugther and show her a Christmas to remember in Paris. But they must make a pitstop in Lake Mistletoe so that he can take photographs for the magazine he works for. What was supposed to be a short trip turns into a holiday getaway because of lost passports.

Sela is tasked with showing Isaac around the town and the most memorable places for his pictures. There is an immediate attraction there between the two but since he is only in town for a few days, she does her best to steer clear of any romantic entanglements. But it is so hard to not fall for the amazing father and his adorable daughter.

The way this book was written, I honestly felt like I was in Lake Mistletoe. You get such a wonderful description of the town and the amazing people that live there. I seriously wanted to hop in my car and find someplace similar to Lake Mistletoe. I loved seeing the characters from the other books and really hope this series keeps going every single holiday.

This was such a cute holiday novella, that is perfect for getting you into the holiday spirit.

Before he and his daughter, Cobie, can head off to Paris for their Christmas vacation, they first have to stop in quaint little town of Lake Mistletoe so, so he can take some photo's of all the Christmas activities going on of an upcoming article for the travel magazine he works for. It doesn't take long for the pair to get swept away in all the festivities, as well as with their guide, Sela.

This one was filled with holiday magic as the whole town of Lake Mistletoe comes together to celebrate the holidays! It was pure joy and had me smiling for start to finish. I loved Isaac's relationship with his daughter, and Cobie was so freaking sweet (with a side of mischief). Sela was tons of fun and the chemistry between her and Isaac was fantastic.

If you are looking for a quick holiday read this season you will definitely want to pick this one up!

All the best feelings🎄

Issac and Sela
I really enjoyed this holiday read.
Issac and his daughter end up in lake mistletoe on their way to Paris, France.
They quickly become enthralled with the small town and so of the fun activities that full their time.
Everyone in the town is very welcoming and help them have a great time while they await their flight.

Sela is another photographer and tour guide.
She is tasked with giving Isaac and his daughter a tour of the town.
When they are encouraged to kiss under the mistletoe by Isaac's daughter, they instantly have a connection.

The steamy moments build up to very spicy scenes that start at the 50% Mark. I loved Issacs dirty talk to Sela and how attentive he is.

This was a cute book that had me laughing, gasping, crying, and fanning myself a few times.
I really enjoyed it and you'll want to add this to your December tbr.

Issac:
"I love you too the moon and stars baby."
Cobie:
"I love you too the star and back."

OMG Santa is real in Lake Mistletoe. He knew Colbie's secret.

I loved the last book of this little holiday series. Isaac & Colbie (his daughter) have a holiday trip planned for Paris with a pit stop in Lake Mistletoe. Where Christmas magic happens. Needless to say Colbie was not thrilled about going to Paris and she feel in love with Lake Mistletoe. She made a new friend and she loved everyone at the Inn. Well her Daddy fell in love at Lake Mistletoe also. Sela who worked in the Mayor's office was assigned to take Isaac and Colbie around the town so he could get pictures done before his co-worker Dawn arrived since he was leaving for Paris. They were doing a spread of the town for the magazine they worked for. But his daughter had other ideas. So cute. Even Isaac couldn't resist Lake Mistletoe's magic when it came to Sela. Such a sweet read and a perfect ending for the short series. This time however it wasn't a woman with a career choice it was a man and he didn't have to change his career because he found his perfect one. Oh Yeah and he made Lake Mistletoe his home with Sela.

Y’all. This book got me so ready to start binging Hallmark Christmas movies. It was such a fun novella, and for the short time I was reading, I was able to forget that it still feels like summer outside and imagine that I was in the magical, snowy lands of Lake Mistletoe, Idaho.

Isaac Ralston finds himself in Lake Mistletoe to photograph the picturesque little town for a travel magazine feature, and he brings along his sweet side kick of a daughter, Cobie. Sela Prince gets tasked with being their tour guide, sharing the wonderful history and fun traditions of the quaint town.

I just absolutely adored this story and the relationship that developed between Isaac and Sela. And of course her interactions with Cobie were always adorable. This was just such a wonderful, feel good story just in time for the holidays. I love Amber Kelly’s writing, and I wish I could be stranded in Lake Mistletoe as well!

Isaac is a workaholic single dad who is determined to give his young daughter, Cobie, a magical Christmas by whisking her away to Paris, but after he takes care of a photo shoot for a magazine feature in Lake Mistletoe. Lake Mistletoe is filled with small town charm and transforms into a Christmas village for the season. Cobie is easily wrapped up in the magic of a cozy Christmas and the love these small town residents have for each other, while Isaac finds himself drawn to the comfort and belonging that comes when he meets Sela.

This little Christmas story was short and sweet, filled with Christmas spirit and comfortable togetherness. I loved the way everyone was so welcoming to Isaac and Cobie and immediately started meeting Cobie’s needs for togetherness when Isaac wasn’t quite ready to hear what she was saying. I enjoyed this light holiday romance with the vibes of a Hallmark movie best paired with hot chocolate.

Isaac and Sela

This was a cute holiday romance. It was lighthearted and featured the cutest secondary character in Cobie. There was plenty of holiday magic and cozy feelings.

Isaac was in Lake Mistletoe for a photography assignment before his planned holiday vacation to Paris with his daughter. In the first week they spent in Lake Mistletoe, Isaac and Cobie meet Sela, who shows them all the best parts of Lake Mistletoe. Isaac and Sela enjoy their time together, but Isaac is only in town for his work assignment.

Things did not go as planned for Isaac. He’s forced to spend more time in Lake Mistletoe when his bag with his passports and airline tickets go missing. As he spends more time with Sela and gets some much needed quality time with Cobie, his priorities start to shift.

Isaac and Sela fell quickly for each other. With the help of some Christmas magic, they were able to spend even more time exploring their feelings and getting to know each other. I loved the pieces of Lake Mistletoe we got to see, especially the boat parade and the elf hunt.

Sela and Isaac were the perfect match for this novel. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would. Amber brought back the sweet town of Lake Mistletoe and I loved it. Cobie and Issac land in Lake Mistletoe for a photo assignment of the holiday festivities the town has. What starts as a pit stop turns into a Christmas neither of them will forget. Sela is trying to open her own museum to honor her town and the rich history, when she becomes the tour guide for Issac and Cobie their connection is instantaneous and has you swooning from the start. Sela and Issac’s connection burns hot, although they think it’s a one and done Cobie manages to make their stay in Lake Mistletoe more permanent. I’ve loved this series so much if you’re looking for a heart warming holiday season read go grab the other two books along with this one you won’t be disappointed and will be anxiously awaiting the next release.

Are you looking for a new Holiday read? Come back to Lake Mistletoe and make a Christmas wish! This book!!! Oh my gosh. If I could wrap a book up with a bow and put it under the tree as the perfect mixture of spicy and magical - this would be it.

Isaac and his daughter Cobie come to Lake Mistletoe before they’re set to head to Paris for Christmas. As a photographer, there’s a story to be told…but sometimes it means missing out on the little things your own family (or daughter in this case) are trying to convey. A little wish and a bit of chaos are what Isaac needs though.

Then you have Sela who calls Lake Mistletoe home, but also needs to spread her wings a bit. She sees the magic in not just Cobie, but also in Isaac. Is that enough for a Christmas miracle?

I am Smitten with Stranded! Get yourself a nice cup of hot cocoa, put on some comfy clothes, and dive into this small town wonder!

In the 3rd book of the Lake Mistletoe Series we follow Isaac and Sela. Issac is a traveling photographer and is in town on assignment to catch lake mistletoes magic for a magazine. Sela is charged with showing him the town and boy does the Christmas magic happen. Issac and his daughter Cobie, who was with him, get stranded and are to continue to enjoy the holiday together. The memories that Cobie and Isaac are able to make are the sweetest. Also the way that Sela and Cobie bonded was too cute. The instant connection between Sela and Issac is natural and heartwarming. They even each other out in the best of ways. This was the perfect holiday read, so warm, cozy and spicy that you wish the book was longer. I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series and hope we get back to lake mistletoe next years

I was blessed enough to receive this arc but the thoughts and opinions of this review are my own.

Another winner in this series!! I could not put this book down. A delightful holiday read that will get you right into the holiday spirit. This is a single dad romance so that was an added bonus for me because anyone knows I love a single dad romance. Isaac has a perfect Christmas in his mind that he feels like he has to have for his daughter, but the magic of Lake Mistletoe will show him what is most important. I so wish I could visit Lake Mistletoe with all the Christmas festivities. The citizens make even feel more special with how welcoming they are to Cobie and Isaac. Cobie is a little cutie and she definitely steals the show! I loved Sela for Isaac and Cobie. She's in charge of showing them the town on their arrival. She helps Isaac slow down a enjoy the moment and the little things. This book has such a magical feel the just weaves around the reader as well. A book I highly recommend!!

Isaac is looking forward to spending the holidays with his daughter Cobie in Christmas so that they can have the time together they both need. What was supposed to be a quick detour to Lake Mistletoe for a quick photo shoot takes a turn when they find themselves unable to leave and Sela and the rest of the townspeople show them where true happiness lies.

Sela has been tasked with escorting Isaac and Cobie around and sharing with him what makes Lake Mistletoe so special. As they spend time together the feelings she has for both Isaac and Cobie only continue to escalate as they create so many special moments together but once the holidays are over will they only be left with a memory?

This is a heartwarming story about love, family and the magic of Christmas. Isaac thought he was content with the life he had until Sela showed him and Cobie what life could be like, and he realized what truly mattered in life.

The third in the Lake Mistletoe series and as perfect as the first two.
Isaac is a single dad with a young daughter Cobie. He works as a travel photographer and is always working. When he plans a Christmas trip to Paris with Cobie they stop off at Lake Mistletoe only to be stuck there. Cobie is delighted and wants to stay. Sela is designated by the mayor to show them around and pretty soon they find themselves attracted. Enough for him to stay???
A gem of a Christmas book and Lake Mistletoe is a place you'd want to live.
The characters are old friends if you've read the first two books and Amber Kelly is the queen of small town romance. The vibe is perfection, it's cosy, full of love, friendship and more
You feel cosy and snuggly and never want it to end.

Oh my goodness guys! This was the cutest Christmas novella ever.

Isaac is in Lake Mistletoe with his daughter on an assignment for work - photograph this beautiful and magical town before they head to Paris for Christmas. Sela is their tour guide through the town and all the fun activities they have throughout the holiday season.

This was a quick read but it had me smiling the whole time. It was romantic and sweet and just really brought the magic and joy of Christmas. And oh, my heart. Cobie was such a sweet kid.

You should definitely add this to your Christmas reads. It will warm your heart. I loved all the town’s festivities. Lake Mistletoe seems like such a magical town that I wish I could visit.

Stranded in Lake Mistletoe is a nice, quick read. It's perfect for the festive season.

Isaac Ralston and his daughter Cobie arrive to Lake Mistletoe village to take some picture for a travel magazine. This is only a stop because they have planned to spend Christmas in Paris.
Sela Prince is asked by the mayor to show Isaac around the town, with its shops decorated for the holidays. What started as a job soon turns into a beautiful experience that will conquer Isaac and Cobie's heart.

I was enthralled by Isaac, Cobie and Sela's journey. I adored these characters. Isaac is a good man and father, but as Sela told him, he has to understand that life doesn't always go as planned and he has to enjoy his time with his daughter, wherever they are and whatever they are doing. Sela is a very nice woman, who came happily back home after college. Their relationship is so easygoing, they are comfortable with each other, their physical chemistry is sparkling, and the attraction they share is steamy.

The bond among the small town residents is so inspiring. I wished to be there with them to be able to enjoy all the frenzied activities they organize for Christmas.

This is the third book in this intriguing series, and this is Isaac and Sela’s story.
Isaac is a single dad to his daughter Cobie, and is a travel magazine photographer, and Cobie declares him a workaholic. When Isaac and Cobie arrive is Lake mistletoe to take some pictures for a travel article, they end up stranded there as their bag with their passports goes missing. Sela is a warm hearted and becomes Isaac and Cobie’s guide.
This is a well written magical gem is a story, which has humor, witty banter, family, friendships, undeniable chemistry, romance, emotions, and love, which leads to and entertaining and heartwarming page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

What a beautiful, heartfelt story about finding a place to call home. I think my absolute favorite thing about this book is the town of Lake Mistletoe. The descriptions of the town and the holiday traditions of the townspeople make this such a magical place that I was invested partially just to read more about what was happening there. On top of that I absolutely LOVED Isaac, Cobie and Sela. The writing was amazing and pulled me in right from the start. I thought the storyline was creative and had me routing for Cobie to get her small town Christmas wish. The chemistry between Isaac and Sela was definitely intense and I couldn't wait to see how things would work out for them. This is a magical, must read book for sure!- By Alisa
