Beautiful Sin #2

Beautiful Sinners

Rate this book
Beautiful Sinners is the highly anticipated second book of the Beautiful Sin Series.

Blurb contains spoilers from book 1, Beautiful Sin.

***

I went to Darlington Founders filled with hopes and dreams. What I found were three men from a past I didn’t want to remember. Tristan Amato, Hendrix Knight, and Constantine Ferreira. Three dark and possessive men who saw me as beautiful and not as the scarred, damaged, broken woman I had become.

After a decade of loneliness and feeling like I didn’t belong because of my scars, Tristan, Hendrix, and Constantine showed me what it was like to be desired. Wanted. Loved. They claimed me. Made me theirs. Protected me. And unknowingly thrust me back into the life I forced myself to forget ten years ago. A life filled with lies, manipulations, and betrayal.

But they weren’t the only ones keeping secrets.

As my past and my present collided, I was forced to make a difficult decision. One born from the fire and the knife that marked my body. One of vengeance for myself and for my parents.

Our enemies wanted Aoife Fitzpatrick? They got her. And they would regret ever bringing her back.

Beautiful Sinners is a full-length dark why choose romance. It is book two in the Beautiful Sin series and ends with a cliffhanger. Recommended for mature readers. Please check Reader’s Note in the front matter of the book for potential TWs.

╰┈➤KITTY KATS CRAZY ABOUT BOOKS

❀ 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐅𝐔𝐋 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒 ❀ Is the second full length new adult romance book within the (Beautiful Sin) series by new to me author Jennilyn Wyer. Like the previous book this also ends in a cliffy.

What was mean't to be the perfect weekend read, turned into a night of reading!!

The author makes it so much easier for us as my mind was a bit cloudy when it came to the cliffy from the previous book, so she's given us a little catch up and it all became clear as mud, the reason why I was cursing this author so much, because that cliffy definitely left us hanging. So it was with anticipation racing through my veins I dived in.

So much mystery shrouded our heroine in a cloak of darkness, her scars, her past, her memories, her guardian all were questions I needed answers to and these were answers that I did not see coming!!

This had more twists and turns than a rollercoaster, and I enjoyed everything bump in the story.

Then we hit the boys, these guys intrigued me from the get go. I needed more, wanted more, craved more.

Tristan 22: is the heir to a throne he could care less about. At the age of thirteen he started to develop triggering migraines which debilitated him, she was the only one that could soothe him.

Hendrix 22: On the surface he's your rich preppy guy with a Boston accent but delve deeper and he's a lethal animal ready to strike.

Constantine 23: Syn thinks he's the scariest out of the group, with soulless eyes, he doesn't speak, like ever, to communicate he uses ASL, until her. He's covered in tattoo from his neck to his ankles. Just because he can't speak don't underestimate him.

These three hate their fathers with a vengeance suffering at the hands of them constantly from an early age.

This book was SO GOOD. like omg, good. I've been desperate for this since that cliffy back in book one, so I immediately stopped everything I was doing to immerse myself in these beautiful pages, and it did not disappoint! The twists and turns, the revelations that are slowly being unveiled and lies that are uncovered, the steam and connected between our girl and *all* of her men (even if Con will forever be my favorite) The EASTER EGGS -- it was all just amazing!

So this picks up right after the first book, and boy are things a mess! Syn is desperate for the men she loves to be ok, Con was hurt protecting her, and now they have even more secret and deciet than ever before at their door, and nothing is what it seems. Will Tristain, Hendrix and Con be able to handle all that's coming their way? Or will all the secrets they are still keeping from Syn come back to haunt them?

Yoooooo, this book was so fantastic! I wouldn't say that cliffy was as bad as the first one, but I am still dying to get my hands on the third book like right now. Go one click this amazing author right now!!

I was given the chance to receive an ARC copy of this book. This is my honest review.

This is book two. Must read book one Beautiful Sin before you start this one.

First of all, after a heck of a cliffhanger in book one, this one didn’t disappoint. We get some answers to questions. Twists that at times I didn’t see coming. Then of course more questions. Jennilynn is very good at leaving clues and Easter eggs. There is always a reason something is in the book. You might not realize it till later.

The steam and spicy happens with reason and a believability that the FMC can handle it. It’s not as spicy as some why chose but the steam is very much worth it. It makes the story and plot stand out. As much as I love and crave the heat, it just doesn’t do it for me of the story isn’t there. The story is there though.

This does end in a bit of a Cliffhanger. It’s one that brings Some of those hints and Easter eggs make sense. There are triggers in this book. Mentions s*xual ass@ult. Physical ass@ult. Nothing is too discriptive and it’s there for a reason and the story.

I ate this book up. Every aspect of it. I know I said before that Constantine was a favorite, and don’t get me wrong I still adore him but I can’t help but love each guy so much. Things really start to fall into place in this book and you get so much information. Sun has so much strength and heart even after everything she’s been through. I am looking forward to the third book. I can’t wait!

Okay. Jennilynn Wyer is NOT very nice for this cliff hanger she just left us all on! 😂 “Beautiful Sinners” is book 2 in the Beautiful Sin series and this one y’all was a DOOZEY. We pick right back up from the OTHER cliffhanger Wyer left us on and hit the gas and went flying. Syn and her boys are finally making some headway but their world is starting to unravel little by little… and it’s an absolute pleasure to be a part of the ride.

Wyer is flat out one of my favorite authors for about a million different reasons but the worlds she creates and the attention to detail for her characters is why I keep coming back for more. The world of Syn, Hendrix, Tristan and Constantine is soooooo addicting to read I couldn’t put the book down. They’re not perfect and there is a lot of push and pull and “don’t tell me what to do” but the chemistry with this group is OUT OF CONTROL. This book focuses a lot more from Syn’s POV since we found out a loooooot about her and her past which I really enjoyed. She’s dealing with a TON and I was super into seeing everything unfold from her eyes.

This story is also not short on surprises and twists and turns and steamy, steamy scenes 😉 But the best part!?? We get more of Andie and her harem of dangerously handsome men. How on earth Wyer seamlessly brought them into this story is beyond me but I’ll tell yall what, I was feral for it. Just another thing Wyer does OH SO well… bridging the gap between series.

ALSO! The cliffhanger… I had a feeling was coming at some capacity but NOT THE WAY IT DID! I was like “WAIT, what!!!!” and I thank Jennilynn Wyer for that. Keep us on our toes please! 👏🏼👏🏼

“Beautiful Sinners” is NOT a standalone and must be read after “Beautiful Sin.”

Spice 🌶 🌶 🌶 🌶

Very rarely have I read books that I just couldn't put down, and this series has been one of them. I now can not wait for the third book to release. The author really has a way with her writing to make you hold on to your seat, wondering what is going to happen next. This book ended with another cliffhanger that made me go nooooooo, I need to know what is going on!

In Beautiful Sinner, we really get into the characters' past, especially Syn's. From the end of the first book, Beautiful Sin, we all knew Syn was someone from the boys' past. This book it dives more into the truth of what happened. It's full of mystery and shock at every turn. You meet characters from other books that the author has written as well.

I felt so bad for Tristan in this book. To imagine finding out everything he has... oh my gosh, it broke my heart for him. I don't want to give any spoilers, but you really get the feels in this book for these characters and what they've been through their lives. A lot of people are against Tristan in the comments I read on Facebook, but I really get him. Especially in this book and what he's been through.

Now, even with all the mystery and twist and turns and feels, that doesn't take away from the hot, sexy spice in this book. I love "why choose" novels because, honestly, why choose when you can have them all 😉 The details the author gives you during these scenes are everything. It leaves very little to the imagination, and that's the way I like it! You finally get those scenes with Hendrix and Tristan finally, and they were written perfectly. Constantine is still hot and mysterious. The way Syn can bring out things in him that nobody else can is beautiful in itself.

I love all of these characters. They are each very different when it comes to Syn/Aoife. The way they are all connected and can't seem to be without each other is perfect. I'm ready to see how this all turns out, but I'm not ready for it to end in the next book. It makes you wonder if certain characters are going to turn out how everyone thinks they will be or if they will stick by Syn till the end.

This book was definitely a page turner. A book I could not put down. I love authors like that. That leaves you hanging on to every page and anxiously waiting to see what happens next. Jennilynn Wyer has most definitely become one of my new favorites. I will be downloading her other series and reading them while I wait on the 3rd book. Especially since you got to see the characters from Savage Princess in this book. I want to know how that hotness happened. Beautiful Sinners was f**king amazing, and nothing could have been done differently in this book to make it any better. This is a book series that you have to read. If you're looking for spice, twist and turns, mystery and hot men... pick these up to read. I would give it 10 ⭐️ if I could.

Beautiful Sinners by Jennilynn Wyer is book two in the Beautiful Sin Series. This continues the story of Synthia 'Syn' that started in the previous book 'Beautiful Sin'. Synthia as we learned in the last book meets Tristan 'Tris', Hendrix 'Hen' and Constantine 'Con'. But as we knew there was more to all there story then we first start. This book does pick up there and take us further down their rabbit hole. This does end setting us up for more in this series. I can't wait!

WHAT?! What was that ending?!

Beautiful Sinners starts out with a bang and doesn’t let up with the revelations, twists, and turns. They wanted Aoife and boy are they going to regret it. The guys are still keeping secrets and Syn doesn’t know who to trust as her memories start to return. It seems like every part of her life has been a lie or fabrication up to this point. She and the guys may love each other, but will that be enough when the secrets are revealed?

This book kept me hooked from the start, just like the first one. I cannot wait for the final book! I already know it’s going to be amazing. ❤️

Well Hello Mind Blown

This book is a trip from the very beginning! It’s just gonna blow your mind once you start reading a once you get to that cliffhanger dam that’s one I think is gonna have the guys in worse trouble then both books combined.

Aoife Is one bad ass character in this book she definitely takes no crap from anyone not even the guys.

Tristan Is hot headed to a T such a temper on him but when it comes to Aoife he’s definitely a teddy bear protector who’s gonna jump in front or her regardless.

Hendrix Is his demons from his past an I hope we get more information about why he despises his mother. He definitely opens up more in this book though. He’s one to take care of Aoife and the guys in regard to the cooking I don’t think they’d survive without him to feed them by this point.

Constantine Is my favorite he’s put so much effort into getting to know Aoife as an adult then the other two in my opinion. I love them together they’re adorable. What he does towards the end of the book is so cute.

The two mean girls I definitely hope get theirs at least a few punches from Aoife. The guys should’ve dealt with her before but I’m intrigued to see if anything happens with them.

All the twists and turns turns in this book are amazing keeps you on your toes right from the first chapter. All the bombshells dropped throughout the whole book was mind blowing.

Alexander was one to drop a few himself that I definitely didn’t expect but sorta explains a few things. The cliffhanger was one of them that you absolutely won’t expect.

I can’t wait until the final book is released and we see Aoife get her revenge. I’m sorta rooting for Alexander to become part of the harem. He’s become a good part of the book that we get to know his feelings about her. All the guys also deserve their revenge against the adults for what they’ve done to them. I’ll be counting down the days until book three comes out to see how these characters finally get their HEA.

WHAT. THE. HECK. Another cliffy?! This one was even more crazy than the first book. Beautiful Sinners is the second book in the series and you have to read in order otherwise it will be confusing. Beautiful Chaos comes out in Spring 2024 and I am counting down the days..I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS.

This book picks up right where book one left off..thank goodness. We got some more insight into the lives of the boys and Syn/Aoife. Truths were revealed but there were more secrets being kept as well.

We got some background of all the boys' lives and their relationship with Syn/Aoife. I enjoyed that their relationships all grew stronger but I also know that they are keeping things from each other.

I felt at times it was a little confusing because in this book you meet a lot more characters but they each were pretty significant. There were so many twists and turns that my head was spinning. I did NOT see most of them coming especially the cliffhanger... I don't want to give too much away because I feel like if I do it will spoil the book!

I can't wait for the next book in the series and get some of the questions I have answered! Definitely a new favorite author/series of mine!

ARC review for 'Beautiful Sinners' by Jennilynn Wyer

The book picks up right where we left off, with the aftermath of the intense events at the Knight's residence. Drama, tension, and mystery are all woven seamlessly into Syn's journey, as she grapples with unanswered questions about her scars, past, memories, and even her guardian.

As Syn's memories start to resurface, she finds herself questioning everything and everyone around her, including herself. It's a tumultuous time for our heroine, but she only grows stronger, matching her love interests Tristan, Hendrix, and Constantine every step of the way. However, even they hold dark secrets that could potentially threaten their relationship.

Throughout the story, obstacles and challenges arise, demons from the past rear their ugly heads, and a tangle of lies and deception threatens to tear Syn and her loved ones apart once again. Amidst the chaos, new characters from Syn's past emerge, providing a fresh layer of intrigue and interaction with her newfound extended family.

But what truly stands out in 'Beautiful Sinners' is the unique bond between Syn and the boys. It transcends time, age, and even the physical realm. Their souls are eternally connected, seeking solace and comfort in each other during the most tumultuous times. Their love is not just emotional, but it manifests physically, offering reassurance when the world around them feels like it's crumbling.

The book's addictive nature quickly pulls readers in, just as the first installment did. It's a gripping, heart-wrenching, mysterious, and emotionally charged tale that keeps you enthralled from start to finish. And let's not forget that cliffhanger! It leaves you gasping, yearning for more, eagerly awaiting the next installment to see how the story unfolds.

I'd be more than happy to conclude my year with this book since it encompasses everything I desired and anticipated in Syn's journey. The ending, as per usual, leaves me suspensefully yearning for the final installment.

After that cliffhanger from the first book, I was so freaking happy to read the next part in this trilogy. I definitely got some answers, but there are still so many questions that I will have to wait for the third book to finally see it all.
In this book I got to learn more about Sin, and the guys, but the memories she lost and that are now slowly coming back to her. The realization for her to learn who she really is and how she will handle the truth and the threats. Sin is such a strong person, but she needs the guys (Tristan, Hendrix and Constantine) for when she’s feeling weak.
Hendrix is still my favorite, he’s not afraid to be a bit rougher with her than the other two and how they all help her explore the relationship they are building.
But, in the end, Miss Wyer has kept me on the edge of my seat (again!) with that cliffhanger. There may have been some grumbling when I finished this book, knowing I have to wait for the final conclusion in their dark story.

I received an advanced copy of the book from the author and am leaving an honest review.

What I like about this book is how strong ( Aoife) Synthia from how she stands up for herself and for the others around her, and how she would kill for them. What I dislike about the guys are that they need to stop keeping secrets because that’s just gonna push her further away and she will lose all trust in them. The group of men have some experienced trauma their lives, and what I think would be good is not to keep it all in or it’s going to put a draft in between everybody in the group that they care about. Like the fact that Constantine talks to Syn the most out of all the people in the group in the fact that she can get him to laugh makes everybody happy in the group as well. What I like about the guys are they also show love differently to Synthia and she does the same for them. I cannot wait for Synthia to get her revenge because she deserves that for everything that she went through in life. The cliff here at the end of the book with something I cannot wait for the next book of the series.

4 and 1/2 stars

There were interesting revelations in the first book but those were nothing compared to what was revealed here. At one moment, I thought, I should really sit down for this. The story was well written and perhaps even more engrossing than the last book. Not sure how I will be able to wait for the next story. What happens now after that cliffhanging revelation, I have no idea. I am looking forward to seeing how it all ends. This has been a surprising series and I am glad that I have read them. The author has done a stellar job in creating an engaging and page turning tale.

Excellent
This book picks up right after the first left off. I love that the author gives us a recap of the ending of book 1.
This series continues to get better and better. We learn so much and some secrets are uncovered. Filled with twists and turns throughout. So, be ready for a roller-coaster.
We also go through so many different emotions. We learn more of Aoife's past too.
There was mystery, action, spice and much more!
Aoife/Syn is an incredible FMC. She is getting stronger as the series continues. Constantine, Hendrix, and Tristan I love them too.
The connection these four share is undeniable and beautiful.
Lastly, we are left with another cliffhanger, and OMG!! I can't wait for book 3!!
I loved it!!

Omg with each book I read the suspense is getting intense af. This is the 2nd book in the Beautiful Sin series, and oh my lord the secrets, lies and twists and turns this book takes you on, will have you pulling your hair saying wtf is wrong with these character's lol. We do get some major reveals, but I'm not even sure I trust the source. Just what is Aleksandr planning? Is just one of my questions. This picks up from the cliffhanger in book 1 Beautiful Sin, so you need to read it before reading this book. I did love that we get to see Andie and her men again, they're always a fun time iykyk😏. This does end on a cliffhanger that was a bit of shocker, but I can't say that I'm surprised.

Beautiful Sinners was so good. I absolutely loved Hendrix, Tristan, and Constantine. They were so sweet, caring, and loving. Syn was just as amazing as the guys. I loved her bravery, her personality, and her strength. Her story still breaks my heart but she is such a bad@ss. The story was amazing. I loved all the twists and turns, the revenge, and the spice. The writing was so good and so addicting. I cannot wait for book 3!! I need answers now!

These characters are so fun and so complex. I really like when an author gives us characters with multiple layers and we get to watch those layers get peeled away and see what makes them the way they are and see them grow emotionally throughout a series. That plot twist! I didn’t see it coming! This is one of my favorite series. And again, this book was super hot! You’ve got to love a good reverse harem!!

This is the second book in the series and it picks up right where book one left. Wyer's writing captured me from the very start and goes until the very end (which also leaves on a cliffhanger). We learn more about Syn's past and how she fits in with the guys. There are even more secrets, twists, and spice in this book. I love the world Wyer has built and how her characters are fully developed. I am excited to see how this series will conclude.

The queen of WTF cliffhangers is back! Yes i’m talking about Jennilynn, and while i had some theories as to why Aleksander was so hell bent on Syn, the true reason was shocking! I’m also petitioning for him to be included in the harem! But before that happens, let’s dive into this book!

First of all, kudos to Jennilynn for putting that cliffhanger from the first book as a recap, it did jostle my memory, but if you’re unsure you remember all the smaller details, you still have time to reread the first book, before this one hits the market! While i did remember some parts, i think i should have reread the first book, but then again, i got into this one pretty fast and it didn’t feel like i was missing out!

We got to see Andie and the crew again!!!! And the cutie pie Sarah!!! Which made me want to reread Savage Kingdom, but that’s for another time. The current book focused a lot on the character and development and setting up the plot for the final book. While i enjoyed it immensely, i still have some reservations. Tristan is a little biatch drama queen that needs to learn how to shut up and listen when Syn is talking! (Yes i will be using Syn and not Aoife). Everyone is keeping so many secrets, and honestly they should have told Syn who unalived her parents as soon as they connected the dots, or at least started plotting their demise, but nope just keep being ignorant and Syn of out the loop.

Now let’s talk about Syn! For the love of everything grow a better backbone and stop apologising for things that were out of your hands. I was honestly fuming when after every fight she would feel guilty because she forgot the guys, or something along those lines. Girl! You went through something so horrific and NO-ONE should even think about why you suppressed the memories or guilt you for it! So let’s be honest here for a minute, throughout the book Constantine was the only one on my good list, and Hendrix was added to it as well. As at the end of the book, Aleksander and Hendrix (tentatively) are on my good list!

Overall this was a great book, it did feel a bit more heavy on the world building and characters (but i guess that’s what 2nd books are for) and while i may rate it lower than the first one i still enjoyed it a lot!

A couples of foursome. The situation from the past has been getting clearer and unfolding in this one. This chaos brings havoc in my system. The twist and turns of events are wild. The last thing I want for them now was a happy ending and peaceful life. But given the fact that they are not ordinary people. I just want them to be happy together forever. I want the last one immediately.

Boom! This book starts from the cliffhanger of Beautiful Sins and then leaves you with another eye bugging set of questions, like, what was that you said???? Romping along at a clipping pace, Beautiful Sinners answers some questions, asks more and takes you on a journey packed with incident, hot times, building relationships, lies and obfuscations which you just know are going to take large chunks out of various posteriors before everything is sorted!! Syn/Aoife and her men have chemistry, maths, and physics going on...in spades, but, the question remains. How on earth is this all going to shake out? In many ways, this book feels very like a bridge between the last and the next book, which is frustrating, but I'm along for the ride. 💖💖💖💖💖

Wow...... absolutely thrilling, I can't wait for the final book in the Beautiful Sin series.
The past slowly begins to return into the present, Syn starts to piece together what has happened over the last 10 years. But the boys are still hiding something!! The drama unfolds, but what secrets are yet to be revealed?
Brilliant storyline, fantastic characters, and absolutely loved the ending, even if it is another cliffhanger!!

Holy Cliffhanger!!! The suspense in these books has had me binging the audios for the last two days. But that cliffhanger 🤯 I did not see that coming! It wasn’t even an inkling of a thought of that happening. Omg I need book 3 asap!
