Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis as well as part of the year in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing. Now, when she's not imagining mind-blowing twists and turns, she likes to spend her time with her friends and family, including her beloved grandchildren.

Aleatha released her first novel, CONSEQUENCES, in August of 2011. CONSEQUENCES became a bestselling series with five novels and two companions released from 2011 through 2015. He offers to help save it if she marries him.Is Julia the person who can finally make Donovan whole? Or will his secrets ruin everything?Is Donovan the one who can give Julia her voice back?     Some stories pull you in from the very first page and continue to hold you captive up until the very last. “Red Sin” is, indeed, one of those stories, yet it is a far cry from over! In fact, Van and Julia’s passionate, intriguing journey has only just begun!!

    Aleatha’s die-hard fans, will, no doubt, recognize the first six chapters as this author’s previously released White Ribbon novella. Rather than skipping to chapter 7, I chose to start again at the beginning--back to this couple’s shaken snow globe and back to where their deliciously sexy saga first began.

    Layered with secrets, lies, and manipulation, “Red Sin” is a romantic suspense that is both compelling and addictive. And while the cliffhanger ending did not come as a complete surprise, it did leave me craving more!

    As a delightful bonus, one of my all-time favorite book boyfriends, Nox Demitiri, makes his way onto the pages as someone from Van’s past. Dare I hope that Nox will make an appearance in the next installment to this series, “Green Envy?” Either way, January can’t come soon enough!!

    I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into but as I kept reading, this ended being a contemporary romance. I read all genres so it didn't bother me not knowing going in.

    I found there to be a lot of mystery, definitely sin, and a young woman growing into something new and better. The MMC may be much more sophisticated but dang, I can picture what he looks like. The author did an amazing job with her description of things, places, and people. Best of all, she showed the readers the story instead of telling the story.

    I am very much looking forward to the next book. That cliffhanger was a shock, needless to say.

    I won this book from a giveaway on Goodreads. This is my honest opinion of the book and my review is in no way, shape, or form due to me winning the give away. I would have left the same review if I had managed to have it downloaded because it was free on Amazon, under KU, or if I bought the book. Anyone who knows me will know I leave more reviews on books I've read than not. It all depends on when I finish reading, during the day or night, that allows me time to write a review.

Even if she grew up rich, she would have had inner strength enough to at least pause and figure out her situation. Loved how she was saved but that would make her grateful, not completely indebted.

    I obtained this book through another author's newsletter and was intrigued. Even though it was free, it ends on a major cliffhanger. One that feels like the page was torn in half right at that black moment and the only way you can learn what happens is by buying the next book. Note to author: free or not, when a reader obtains your story they invest their time and thoughts in reading what you've created. Even a HEA for now would be acceptable. But when it ends the way it did, I feel cheated. All those hours committed to reading the story was for not unless I want to spend more money to learn the outcome.

    Would have given 5 stars except for thinking that the author is using the KU platform in a somewhat ingenious manner. With the KU subscription you get into the story, love it, stay up, happily absorbed through book one, then two, just as good.....and bam, you have to pay full price for book three, yet book four and five resumes the story again under Kindle KU subscription. Objectively, 5.99 probably isn't expensive given it's a good series, it's the fact that you are drawn in without knowing the full cost up front. You think you have already paid it with your subscription. I'm on a very strict budget, and l imagine that I'm not the only one given the economy, and the last thing l need when l read escapist novels is to feel that I'm being taken advantage of. So, an accomplished author and a seemingly great series, shame about the hidden cost that stops you from enjoying it to the end.
