Happy Haven #2

Anger Banger

Rate this book
The residents of Happy Haven Trailer park have been waiting for this for a long time. The slumlord who abandoned this place and let our homes deteriorate has been court ordered to live here while making repairs. Imagine our surprise when the guy who shows up to move in to the dilapidated trailer across the street isn't the sixty year old man we expected, but his son. With a teasing smile and unshakeable positive attitude, Cooper Addington Junior pushes every one of my buttons. It doesn't help that he also looks like he stepped off a fitness magazine cover. The women who live here are all over him, but for some reason he's focused on me. Too bad I see through his good guy act and I'm not falling for some spoiled rich boy. What I am going to do is keep my eye on him and make sure he's doing his job. I'm the one who took his father to court in the first place and he can't put anything over on me.

Book Two in the Happy Haven Series of connected standalone novels. Can be read as a standalone.

This hilarious story takes place at Happy Haven trailer park, it’s a strong, quirky community that is need of some major maintenance.
I love the way the neighbors all watch out for each other, the love in that makes for a story that pulls me in and deeply care for the characters.
Enter Cooper, who newly owns the community, he’s there to make repairs for the neglected community.
Maren loathes him because of the conditions the neighborhood has endured.
The two have fabulous, witty, snarky banter. They keep each other on their toes. There’s sizzling chemistry between them despite her anger towards him.
I adore enemies to lovers and this one is superbly fantastic!
The characters are so witty and likable. There’s many laugh out loud, hilarious moments. The humor is unique and so very entertaining. The ridiculous moments are not out of the realm of possibility which makes it even funnier in my opinion.
The spice and romance is delicious and so super steamy!
I love the way their relationship develops and changes.
The secondary characters are completely awesome. They add plenty of the humor and there’s quite a bit of heartwarming aspects to this story for the main characters and secondary. Maren’s Grandpa especially (who raised her) is such a wonderful, lovable and important character for me.
The story has a great balance of humor, steamy scenes, romance and emotional growth.
This is the second book in this series, it can be read as a standalone. The first book-𝙵𝙰𝙺𝙴 𝙰𝚁𝙾𝚄𝙽𝙳 𝙰𝙽𝙳 𝙵𝙸𝙽𝙳 𝙾𝚄𝚃 is a five star delight also and has the same characters and setting, I highly recommend reading it as well preferably previously if you want to binge ;)
Another win by this talented author.

This book couldn't have come at a better time for me - I soooo needed a giggle and oh man I got loads of them!! So a massive thank you Teagan for that!

Now, back to Happy Haven - if you read the previous book you will know that Maren and the rest of the residents were taking the landlord to court because of the state of living conditions and won!
Well now it's time for his punishment but when a s3xy hot guy turns up instead of a sixty year old slumlord, it throws a spanner in the works especially when there's sparks between him amd Maren!

This is full of laughs, stupid laughs that had me rolling and I loved it and even though there's a lot of laughs, it still has a serious storyline in it, this is a community of people who have been trampled on and left in a place that isn't fit for living and it's about how they come together. There's such a wide variety of people with complete opposite personalities and yet they look out for each other and are friends.

It's full of him out, friendship, sparks, passion, hope, fighting spirit and people you can't help but want to spend time with.

Top marks Teagan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

*I voluntarily received an arc and this is my honest review.

Well written. It didn't grab me as much as book one though. Fairly predictable and a feel good read wirh steamy scenes and a sweet and happy hero and a feisty heroine. I'm not American and some of their rom com humour feels flat for me, but many readers thought it was hilarious. Each to his own. I'll be reading more from this author.

This series is addictive and so good for the soul as it has you laughing so much that your face will hurt. As we had back to Happy Haven Trailer Park Maren and Cooper will have you laughing out loud from their first interaction. The chemistry is high and the tension between the two is thick. As Maren fights the attraction right to the very last moment, Cooper will try to show her just how much his love can be depended upon. The residents of Ha Ha will join in the fun with their quirky nature and their hilarious commentary. A love story that has a few twists and turns and is such a breath of fresh air in the romance world.

So excited to be back in the Ha-Ha trailer park, this time is to watch Maren find her person, and believe me no one saw this one coming.

The last time we left the residents of the Happy Haven Trailer park they where finally fighting back against their awful slum lord to repair and improve the awful living conditions. When we pick up next we learn that the slum lord was ordered by the judge to live in the most rundown trailer while he fixes every problem with ALL of the residents trailers & the park itself. So when Cooper shows up and moves into his accommodations, everyone assumes he is something he is not. They are all in for some pretty big, and amazingly generous surprises.

Everyone is so shocked by everything unfolding. But not as shocked as Maren at this generosity from a man that let the Ha-Ha get so bad in the first place. That will not be Maren’s biggest surprise though, she will actually shock herself when she realizes she is extremely attracted to Mr. Slum lord and as usual she is falling fast. The difference this time she may just be falling for the right guy instead of all her past Mr. wrongs. Can she be with a man like him or did she jump to conclusions to fast about him without even knowing the whole truth and identity of Cooper?

This book will be full of all kinds of crazy laughing moments that we have come to expect from this the very peculiar people that live at the Happy Haven Trailer Park. No prank is off limits in this neighborhood.
While this book is able to be read as a stand alone, it is going to be so much better if read after Fake Around and Find Out. The returning charters and shenanigans are going to keep you laughing and wishing you live in a place where these kind of unbelievable and unimaginable things go on, on the daily. But if living in less than stellar accommodations just for some entertainment nightly, put on by your neighbors is not enough, you can add the beyond belief amazing sense of community too. Sadly doing for one another’s neighbors is just unheard of these days.

So take a tour of the Happy Haven trailer park, reserve the best…....well the most livable trailer…....ummm that is if you can find one. Then watch out the window, or from your porch, hey even congregated with the rest of the park front and center, as it all unfolds. Don’t worry no one will think you are a nebby neighbor, because so is EVERYONE in this hood. Bonus they don’t judge here at the Ha-Ha. Fall in love with Maren and Cooper and all the surprises they have for each other and for us. Learn these two are the epitome of the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Enjoy. Thank you Ms. Shade for making me laugh so hard, even after I finished the book.

Anger Banger opens with a wonderfully unique moment where Maren the FMC, after nearly having a car accident on her way to a Dash delivery, ends up jokingly playing Daddy to a random delivery customer, calling him 'Sport' while he greets her as 'Papa'. You just know this is going to be good!

The story revolves around mandated renovations to the Happy Haven trailer park after Maren successfully takes their slumlord, Cooper's now-deceased father, to court. After Cooper convinces Maren to work with him as his assistant on the project, things heat up, especially as she's been having hot and steamy dreams about her new boss.

Maren feels like a true strong character - one who is, yes, strong because she's been hurt and doesn't want to be hurt again. But also one who is far from perfect. Sometimes she says the wrong thing that's too harsh, sometimes she doesn't know what she really wants because she's so used to protecting herself. But thankfully she's capable of thinking through her feelings and changing her mind if her course of action isn't serving her. Likewise, Cooper is a breath of fresh air. Always smiling, happy to laugh at himself and game for anything, he also wants the best for others. But he knows what he wants for himself and works hard to make Maren see they can be good together, without ever putting her under any pressure. He's not a growly alpha, nor is he a fawning labrador - he's a hard-working, fun guy who adores Maren and recognises pretty quickly that his life would be better off with her in it.

There's amazing wit and wisecracks between Maren and Cooper (as you'd expect from SM Shade) as well as thoughtfulness and care, and the cast of Happy Haven neighbours and friends are back to add colour, hilarity and charm. Plus the toy scenes are hot hot hot!

Comment about a very tiny aspect of the book/series which makes me incredibly happy but that has no bearing on the overall story whatsoever:

I received an ARC but this is my own, honest opinion.

Disclaimer: I received this book at no cost from the publisher/author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. I am leaving a voluntary review and all opinions are my own.

I am so smitten with this series! This series is Romantic Comedy gold. The hilarious situations and quirky characters make this series stand out. This series is so addictive!

S.M. Shade has a prominent writing style full of humor that I really gravitated towards. The storytelling has a vibe that will stay with you long after you've finished reading. The plot was crafted well. It was compelling and kept me wanting more.

These characters were completely likable and relatable. I loved them so much. They were complex and had distinct personalities. The character development was amazing. The secondary characters were great and added so much depth to the story.

The banter between Maren and Cooper was delightfully snarky. Their chemistry was off the charts. I loved the enemies-to-lovers vibe going on and the evolution of their relationship.

Overall, this was a funny story with remarkable characters that are so memorable. These characters truly capture a little piece of your heart. This book truly balances all the different elements of a Romantic Comedy perfectly. This series is outstanding and I can't recommend it enough! Pick this book up and get ready to laugh and smile until your face hurts. S.M. Shade is an author that will be on my radar for the foreseeable future.

Returning to Happy Haven, this time for Maren's story, I once again returned to lots of laugh-out-loud fun stirred together with lots of steamy moments. It was the best combination to read.

Maren was instrumental in pursuing the slumlord who let Happy Haven Trailer Park fall into ruin. Now that the lawsuit has been won and the owner has to lawfully make the changes, on top of staying on site to oversee them himself, Maren is tickled pink the day has finally arrived. She is bold, brazen, and doesn't back down from anything, especially with Cooper Addington Junior. While she's taken aback that Cooper is super hot and not a cranky old man, she isn't about to let Cooper's hotness stand in her way of getting things fixed. Her take charge personality is one reason she won the lawsuit, but it’s also why Cooper can't look away.

Cooper Junior inherited his father’s money, his properties, and his problems, but Cooper is nothing like his father. When he arrives at Happy Haven he digs right in and wants to help, but soon realizes that he also needs help to solve years worth of neglect and issues. Maren knows everyone and is his best lead, plus she doesn't take grief, which he likes. These two have chemistry in spades, which is hot to witness, as Maren loves to verbally spar with him which lights his internal fire.

While Maren and Cooper blaze on the page with their romance, all of the secondary characters are a gem and add sparkle to the story. It's also funny and loving and a really great series so far. I love this world where the women have strong thoughts and ideas, but it doesn't emasculate the men either. I love a man who appreciates a strong woman and especially who doesn't get embarrassed by her strength. The Happy Haven series also contains a colorful cast, which enriches the storyline and doesn't take away from it, which makes for a very pleasurable read.  ❤️

S.M.Shade has done it again! With series like Violent Circle and now Happy Haven, I am seriously so invested. Having a bad day? Need something to get over that book-hangover? THIS book is a definite fix! I thought I enjoyed book one, but this book was everything!!! I could read it over and over again! I cannot wait to see whets next for this little trailer park clique.

The time of reckoning is finally here! After Maren sued the owner of Happy Haven trailer park and won, the owner Cooper Addington was court ordered to live among them until repairs and fixes were completed. Only, when he shows up to live in the worst trailer of them all, he is nothing like what they expected!

With a band of 'colorful characters,' we are quickly introduced to Cooper Addington Jr, son of the late slumlord. Maren is determined that he is trying to pull a fast one and fool everyone. When a deal is struck and she finds herself working for him, she quickly realizes that things are actually looking up.

Soon, the tension is so tight, its nothing a super quick hate fuc...fun, won't cure!! Vibrating panties, loose remote controls, biting toddlers and a strong dixth sense, what can go wrong?

These two collided like freight trains head on, at full speed, and the outcome was so much fun to read about! I seriously loved these two characters and was so engrossed into this love affair of chaos, I never wanted it to end. We are met with both old and new characters and I am so here for all they have to offer.

Happy Haven was turned around in this book, so I know for book three, we will be in for a treat! I can't wait to see what this author has in store for us next!!!

"Nah, Pops, it's not a relationship. He just came over to stuff me like a Build-a-Bear."

*Overall 5/5
*Heat? 5/5

*Ends on HEA

Fake Around and Find Out was one of my top reads from 2023 and since its release, I’ve been clamoring for more of the Happy Haven trailer park! I loved Anger Banger. It was hilarious and spicy and the banter was some of the best I’ve ever read! I recommend this book and series to everyone!

The conditions at Happy Haven trailer park are deplorable. Maren helped sue the owner and the trial resulted in him coming to live at the trailer park for six months to oversee renovations. After a hilarious meet cute, Maren realizes that Cooper is the current owner and her new number one enemy.

Maren is fierce, loyal, and independent. She’s a leader in her loving community of misfits and she is not gonna let Cooper get away with anything. Cooper’s situation isn’t all that it appears and he realizes quickly that trying to earn Maren’s trust will be a huge asset to him.

Also, the two of them are insanely attracted to each other no matter how much they can’t stand each other. Their chemistry is almost as strong as their distaste for another. There is so much push and pull between them. I loved their bickering. It was not easy for either of them to give in to the other. I also loved that Maren and Cooper’s HEA involves them being childfree by choice. We don’t see that in as many romance books as I’d like.

I would be remiss in not mentioning the hilarious and endearing quirky side characters. The other residents of the trailer park are hilarious. Seventy year old horndog Rita is my spirit animal. Her one liners had me in tears. My favorite was when she referred to someone uncircumcised as having a convertible d1ck where you have to put the top down. A special shoutout goes to Maren’s loving grandfather, Pops, whose side plot went in an unexpected but lovely direction.

I love this series so much and I can’t wait for the next to be released.

I received an ARC but all thoughts are my own.

I loved the first book in the series, and this one delivered just as well! We're back visiting Happy Haven Trailer park, where the evil slumlord is finally getting what's coming to him. He's been court ordered to stay in the park, and to fix everything that's wrong/broken. Too bad he's super hot and handy with a hammer.

"Get out of my swamp!" one them shouts in a pretty impressive Shrek voice.

Maren despises Cooper from the start but of course Cooper is smitten from jump street. He's not afraid of a strong woman who has no issues telling him how it is, and how it's going to be. I think Cooper might have a little bit of a mean kink going on, but this is a judgement free zone 😂 The banter is fantastic, the cast of characters are delightful, and the spice is top notch.

He just came over to stuff me like a Build-A-Bear.

I loved watching the improvements to the trailer park happen, and how the community started to come around to Cooper. Maren was great with her neighbors, and even though she wanted to stick it to Cooper any chance she could, she knew that she had to worry about the greater good more than messing with him.

If you're looking for a really fun enemies to lovers with great banter and spice, be sure to add Anger Banger to your TBR!

S.M. Shade has done it again!!! Anger Banger is a hilarious and sweet enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy. Happy Haven Trailer Park has been in disrepair for a long time and its residents are fed up. One resident, Maren, takes the slumlord owner to court and wins! He will have to move into Happy Haven himself while repairs are made. When the hot son of the owner shows up instead, Maren sees red. She decides she instantly doesn’t like Cooper.

It’s not just Maren that isn’t happy about Cooper moving in, the residents do not trust him at all. He decides to offer Maren a job as his assistant. He hopes that this will help he get the residents to trust him. Maren accepts, while also proposing an idea of her own. While she’s attracted to Cooper,he drives her crazy and she’s not looking for a relationship…she does want to blow off some steam. He isn’t not looking to be tied down either so he takes her up on her idea an enemies with benefits arrangement.

Can Cooper cut through Maren’s tough exterior? What happens when Happy Haven is all fixed up and Cooper can leave? Read Anger Banger to find out!

I can’t wait for Lila’s story!

I'm writing this review for United Indie Book blog

Just like in the first one, the Happy Haven trailer park people show their personalities and share their opinions on everything.
In this one, the owner is to show his face and fix up the place. Everyone is excited to get a look at him. Just one problem though..it isn't quite the owner but his son, who inherited the park.
Cooper is hot and apparently has a nice butt to look at lol. He's a genuine nice guy who has big plans and wants the trailer park to be a nice place to live without worries. He also pushes all the buttons on Maren, which makes for some fun times lol.
Maren is the voice of the trailer park and was the one who pushed for the owner to make changes. She's also been burned before with dating. She has a strict "no dating". Cooper pushes this so much! He's attractive but she can't let him to close. With the push of her friends and some neighbors, she agrees to just have fun with him. After some times in the office and pool, feelings start to change and this is when things start to turn. Maren has to let go of the past and learn to trust while Cooper has to put his heart on the line. A lot of things out of them happen in this book it's just as good as Maren and Cooper.
This book will have you swooning, cheering and laughing so hard.

We’re back in Happy Haven

The Happy Haven trailer park has been falling apart for years while requests for repairs were ignored. Having had enough, Maren sued to owner and the court ruled they not only did the owner have to fix the place up, but ordered that the owner has to live there until the repairs were done. All the usual characters of Happy Haven are waiting eagerly for the arrival of said owner, except they are not expecting who gets out of the truck when he pulls up.

Cooper has inherited his dad’s estate after his father died suddenly from a heart attack. He gets a less than warm welcome from the residents of Happy Haven. Knowing the only way to get the residents to trust him is to show them, he hires Maren to work in the office for him. Their attraction is instant, but the last thing Maren wants is another relationship. They agree to a purely physical relationship.

This book, like book one in the series, is laugh out loud funny. It also brings a healthy amount of spice. Not only do you fall in love with the main characters, but the side characters are equally hilarious, entertaining, and endearing. Even the trailer park itself reads like a character. I can’t wait for Lila’s story in the next book.

The second installment in the Happy Haven series (following Cara and Row in “Fake Around and Find Out”, which I rated ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)

Some books are good and some books suck you in immediately. This was the latter. I made the mistake of starting it at night and couldn’t put it down to go to bed. I read the entire thing in less than a day.

From the start, I loved the relationship between Cooper and Maren. Maren knows Cooper is handsome but hates him on principle. Cooper isn’t so sold on the hate. It’s like enemies to lovers except he was at “lovers” (or at least at “like”) from the start. Say less, im sold.

Of course they end up hooking up (thank you, author SM Shade for only making us wait until about 30% in) and deciding to be F Buddies. I loved watching Maren’s resolve wane and her realizing he’s not nearly as bad as she imagined he would be, while also learning to trust her own judgement a little bit (isn’t that something we all struggle with?)

I will say the ending surprised me a little bit but i did like the ending.

I was so bummed when I read “Fake Around and Find Out” to see it was the only one in it’s series so far. I feel the same way now - I love Happy Haven and these characters. I need Lila’s story ASAP!!!!

4 ½ Stars for this hilarious romance!

I love the Ha Ha Trailer Park and all it's quirky residents. Cooper is a rich hunk who doesn't act like he's rich, except for the fact that he is spending all kinds of money on the trailer park. I love how Cooper takes Marin's snide remarks like a champ and he loves how that gets on Marin's nerves even more. Ms Shade's characters are always so loveable and down to earth and it's an absolute pleasure reading her stories. Then there's the steam ... once again it's at a 10! This is a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next book.

Cooper inherited the Happy Haven Trailer Park from his wealthy but absent father. His father was court ordered to fix everything in the trailer park while he lived there ... so he could see what he has put his tenants through. The residents of the trailer parked were shocked when a hot young guy showed up instead of the old greedy geezer they were expecting. Marin is the unappointed spokesperson for the community as she spearheaded the court action to begin with. She is angry by this unexpected change of ownership and lets Cooper know exactly how she feels. The only problem is the electricity that sparks between them.

I received an early copy courtesy of the author.

We return to Happy Haven Trailer Park for the second instalment in this series.
Karen has taken the owner of the park to court to force him the fix the numerous issues with the homes and the judgement means he has to move in for 6 months until everything is up to standard.
The person who turns up is not who they were expecting.
Cooper shows up at Happy Haven and immediately runs into issues with the residents. He is then met with the how run down the place is but he is determined to get it back to the way it should be, hopefully getting the residents on his side. He needs to get an unlikely ally on his side though if he has any hope of turning this place around. This is a brilliant book. I was on chapter 3 and was already laughing out loud. I love how Shannon Shade writes her characters and the banter between them. I love a sassy female character and Maren surely was that here.
The residents of Happy Haven are fantastic. Each person has their own personality written so brilliantly that I can actually picture them. I loved this book so much and it has very quickly became one of my favourite books ever. I’m so looking forward to reading more of this series.

Okay, let me try this again. Gotta love technology when you write an entire review and then something deletes it. So if you haven't read SM Shade you are missing out. This story will have you laughing and wanting to choke someone at the same time. The residents in Happy Haven are hilarious and have been living in less conditions than they should. When Maren takes charge and goes after the slumlord she doesn't realize that more is about to come. Winning a case means that, that slumlord has to live in the conditions they do. But who shows up is not who she thought. It's worse it's the sexy son who makes her heart beat and her panties wet. But she's stubborn and she won't give in to the smiles. She wants things fixed and fixed now. The last thing Cooper Addington Junior wanted to deal with was his father's shortcomings but fixing or tearing a place down is the decision he has to make. Until he meets Maren and well now he's going to show her and everyone that he is there to help. Will they kill each other or love each other more? This story is hilarious and will have you begging for more.

Seppy's 5-Star Review:
This is the second book in the series and it can be read as a standalone. In the first book, "Fake Around and Find Out" Maren gets all the residents of the trailer park to take the landlord to court because of the living conditions and won. The landlord is supposed to live there while fixing the living conditions. But a hot guy shows up instead. Cooper Jr father (the real slumlord) dies and He inherits everything including Happy Haven. He isn't like his father and is determined to make things right. When he arrives at Happy Haven he digs right in and wants to help, but everyone is skeptical of him. So he hires Maren because the residents trust her and she can help in the office. Maren hates him but also feels attracted to him. It is a wild ride for these two. The neighbors are very interesting and their antics are funny.

I enjoyed reading this one. I felt Maren and Cooper were perfect for each other and some of the things he says are so swoon-worthy. I am glad the residents got the repairs and love Cooper's ideas about the future of Happy Haven. I like this series so far.

5 ⭐ for this enemies to lovers romcom were she is the grumpy to his sunshine.

Maren after an intervention is in a man hiatus, trying to recover herself from all her past relationships with losers, so when she meets a sexy construction guy she leaves him without a second glance (maybe she looked at him but did nothing about the attraction).

So when that sexy guy appears at Happy Haven instead of the old slumlord to live in the worst trailer because he is his son and the old guy is dead, she hates him and she won't let him charm her.

But Cooper being total opposites of his father and being totally smitten with Maren, offers her a job as his assistant to try to help him get the tenants to accept the renovations.

Because of their chemistry and all the hours spent together, she asks him to be acquaintances with benefits and that's her best idea in years.

Will Cooper convince her that they are meant to be together and try to date or will she return to being single because she can't be with a rich guy who is temporally living at the trailer park?

Anger Banger is a captivating read that delves into the complexities of human emotions and relationships. The story is well-crafted, with a compelling plot that keeps the reader engaged from start to finish. The characters are well-developed and relatable, making it easy to connect with their struggles and triumphs.

The author, S.M. Shade, has a knack for creating vivid scenes and dialogue that bring the story to life. The writing style is engaging and easy to follow, making it a pleasure to read. The pacing is well-balanced, with just the right amount of action and introspection to keep the reader hooked.

One of the standout aspects of Anger Banger is the exploration of the theme of anger. The characters grapple with their emotions and learn valuable lessons about the importance of self-control and empathy. This theme is woven throughout the story, making it a thought-provoking read that leaves a lasting impact.

Overall, Anger Banger is a must-read for fans of contemporary fiction. It's a heartfelt and emotional journey that explores the complexities of human relationships and the power of forgiveness. Highly recommended!

Oh, you know its gonna be a good 'un when your busting out laughing by page 3. And Shade did not disappoint.

Welcome back to Happy Haven, your favorite trailer park! To go along with our romcom, we also get enemies to lovers, which is always a favorite of mine, with a side of one-sided misunderstanding. On paper Maren and Cooper just don't make sense but man, were they made for each other.

Maren is a no nonsense, take charge, struggling to get by woman and Cooper is the son of the slumlord of Happy Haven. That automatically makes them enemies in her eyes but he just has eyes for her, and he'll do whatever it takes to get her, including making her the trailer park office manager.

Be prepared for plenty of snark, some seriously laugh out loud moments and of course some steam, cause its not a Shade book if there's no steam in it. It's definitely a top read for me for 2024 (yes, I know its still early!) but the comedy part of this book are pure gold. Go ahead, jump in and read it already!

Anger Banger was a laugh out loud read that was just plain fun. I absolutely LOVED it!!! Maren and Cooper are delightful and the situations that they find themselves in are sure to bring a smile to your face while also giving you the feels.

Maren is a firecracker. She’s snarky and has a take charge attitude that showcases her feistiness and independence. Her hate for Cooper is instant and she’s determined not to like him, but when she begins to see he’s not what she thought, her huge heart starts to shine through and she’s unable to resist his charm.

I loved Cooper and felt bad for him that everyone blamed him for his father’s wrongdoings. He was sweet, loyal, and so kindhearted. Once he fell for Maren, he was all in and I loved how patient and caring he was with her.

The snarky, flirty banter is out of this world and the chemistry between Maren and Cooper is electric. I couldn’t get enough of this fun duo. Add in the hilarious mishaps they find themselves in and you have a read that is absolutely delightful and full of heat, heart, and humor.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Welcome Back to Happy Have Trailer Park. These poor people have been living in a park that a slumlord abandoned and let the homes deteriorate. He has now been court ordered to live there while making the necessary repairs. While they were all expecting a sixty year old man they get his son. A son that has a teasing smile and the most positive attitude ever now matter what is happening. He is certainly a hottie and he pushes every button that Maren. It doesn't help that he looks like he has stepped off the cover of a magazine or that he has all the women in the park falling all over him. But she's got her eye on him. But will he fix more than just the homes they live in or will he fix Maren's heart along the way.
I had so much fun reading this book. It will have you laughing out loud. Swooning. Cheering these two on to the very end. This is a really great book and you don't want to miss it.

AB by S.M. Shade is the second stand alone in the Happy Haven Trailer Park Series.
Maren and Cooper couldn't be more different from each other. Cooper just inherited his late father's businesses, including a trailer park and a court order to live there and do maintenance and repairs. He's a pretty laid back guy, contrary to Maren.
Maren is a femme fatale when I ever saw one. She doesn't back away from confrontation for things that are important to her. And the well being of the trailer park tenents is very important to her. Hired by Cooper as PA she has her hands full. Dealing with obstinate tenants, a maddining boss whom she isn't attracted to at all- just kidding.
AB is an highly entertaining read just like the first book in the series, Cara and Monroe's story.
The author found the perfect mix of hilarious, witty, fun and serious and wrote a gem of a story. I recommend the books.
