About us
The Partnership for Food Safety Education (PFSE) delivers trusted, science-based behavioral health messaging and a network of resources that support consumers in their efforts to reduce risk of foodborne illness. The Partnership is the creator and steward of the Fight BAC! consumer food safety education campaign and its core four evidence-based messages of Clean, Separate, Cook and Chill. In 2022 the Partnership recognizes the 25th anniversary of its founding as a public-private collaboration to support consumers. The Partnership unites representatives from industry associations, professional societies in food science and nutrition, consumer groups, the United States Department of Agriculture, and, from the Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Food and Drug Administration, to educate the public about the importance of safe food handling to good health. More information about the Partnership can be found at www.fightbac.org. Stakeholders are urged to join the Partnership's free weekly E-card list by signing up at www.fightbac.org.
