Brainstorm Health® is a unique clinic focused on providing a Functional Medicine approach to supporting the health and wellbeing of children and young adults.
We specialise in working with children and young adults with Autism, ADHD, ADD, PANS and PANDAS, as well as those with behavioural and learning difficulties and food and chemical sensitivities.
There is overwhelming evidence that the health of the body is intrinsically linked with the health of the brain. Stella Chadwick, our Founder and Registered Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Practitioner, has dedicated much of her personal and professional life to formulating nutritional and biomedical strategies to enhance these “gut-brain” connections and is passionate about helping the children she works with reach their full potential.
When you work with our team at Brainstorm Health®, you can be assured of an evidence-based methodology and consultancy path to change your child’s current health and development outcome.
There is increasing and compelling evidence, coupled with direct experience in a clinical setting, to suggest that individuals with Autism spectrum conditions often suffer from issues with digestion and absorption; food and chemical sensitivities; oxidative stress; compromised immune function; mitochondrial disorders; impaired detoxification systems; and higher than normal bacterial, viral and parasitic load.
We approach these complex health issues using functional medicine and work to address and support each body system step-by-step.
Our specialists, who practise under the supervision of Stella Chadwick, have been hand selected for their considerable experience, qualifications and ethos of using functional medicine principles in delivering their health support plan.
Meet our Founder
Stella Chadwick, BSc (Hons) mBANT CNHC
Stella is the Founder of Brainstorm Health® and is a CNHC Registered Nutritionist. Her extensive professional training includes a 1st Class BSC Honours (Nutritional Therapy) degree and a specific training focus on the principles of Functional Medicine – which assesses and addresses the underlying causes of conditions.
She has a special interest in gut-brain health and the impact of autoimmune conditions (like PANS and PANDAS) and food and chemical sensitives. One of her underlying focuses is on restoring a healthy link between the gut and the brain by combining carefully planned nutritional and lifestyle changes, utilising her specialised functional medicine-led approach.
Meet our Brainstorm Health® Practitioners

Coriander is one of our nutrition practitioners and works with our families to directly support them through their Health Plan. She is an experienced Registered Nutritional Therapist (CNHC), and Nutritionist (BANT) trained to degree level (1st with Honours) in the functional medicine approach.
With a background as a professional Chef, she is well placed, together with her Nutritional Therapy training, to work with our families on their Health Plans. She has many years of experience working with children diagnosed with autism and other neurological issues. Her food and nutrient knowledge and her great approachable personality work perfectly in supporting Brainstorm Health® patients. Her experience is in putting personalised nutrition protocols together and working one-on-one with patients with a wide range of health conditions.
Jo is a Registered Nutritional Therapist (mBANT, regCNHC) with a degree in Biology and Diploma (with distinction) in Nutritional Therapy. She is one of our nutrition practitioners working with our families to support them through their Health plans directly. Jo has experience developing personalised nutritional protocols, using an evidence-based approach to support a range of health conditions successfully. She has a particular interest in working with children and young people. As a mother of two small daughters herself, she understands how challenging it can be to make lifestyle changes and healthy choices that work for all the family within constraints of time and budget, so her approach is always to take the time to listen to families, to develop a plan that works for them, and that is sustainable. Jo is well versed in translating complex science into practical, clear information with a previous career in science communications.
Sarah Webb, BSc, DipNT, mBANT, regCNHC

She has a special interest in gut, brain, and immune health, and has a passion for learning and applying her knowledge to best support the families she works with.
Having experienced first-hand the immense value of nutritional and lifestyle interventions when supporting her own daughter through complex health issues, she is passionate about helping children and their families navigate their way through health challenges they may face.
Her varied background in environmental education, management in the health and wellbeing sector, and as a retreat business owner and chef, brings a wealth of experience and a person-centred focus to her practice; all delivered with warmth and a sensitivity to each family’s needs.
Haley Hill MSc, PgDip, BSc (Hons), AfN
Haley is a registered clinical nutritionist (AfN) with an MSc (with distinction) in Clinical Nutrition and a postgrad degree in Clinical Pharmacy. She is also a member of the British Dietetic Association’s Mental Health Specialist Group.

She has extensive clinical experience, having held senior clinical roles within NHS teaching hospitals such as Chelsea & Westminster, plus specialist clinical rotations within the HCA hospital group, The Maudsley and The Priory, in both in-patient and out-patient settings.
Her background has given her a deep understanding of the complex interplay between genetics and environment and its impact on our children’s mood, behaviour and mental health.
Haley is a mother to two secondary-school-aged daughters and has a passion for creating personalised nutrition protocols for children and adolescents with Autism, ADHD, PANS / PANDAS, and other neurological conditions.
Following a city career in law, Aira has re-qualified as a registered Nutritional Therapist and Naturopath (mBANT, regCHNC), and following that completed her certification with the Institute for Functional Medicine to become an IFMCP certified practitioner. She is also a Walsh Institute certified practitioner with a particular focus on brain biochemistry.
Her specialist interest areas include digestive health, behavioural and mental health disorders including ADHD, ADD, anxiety, anger, aggression and depression.
For the last few years she has worked mostly with families, helping to get to the root cause of their children’s physical and mental health challenges and empowering them to be in charge of their own health. She uses a collaborative mind-body approach with her clients, looking at the whole body’s ecosystem and uses food as a therapy to nourish and thrive.
Aira is also a qualified yoga teacher and a self-proclaimed foodie. As a mother to two young girls, she is well placed to understand the challenges that parents face when it comes to their children’s health.

She is interested in mindful and non-violent communication, some of which stems from her previous work in the non-government sector and humanitarian organisations.
