Hello fellow scrappers!
Here I am with a new challenge for you!
So, are you ready to play with me?
As you seemed to enjoy the one I did last November, I've decided to offer you a new TEMPLATE CHALLENGE this month! But, once again, there’s a little twist!
Did you notice how helpful masks are to stretch our stash? They offer us so many possibilities to use any supplie in a brand new way! And the best part of that is that everything can be turned into a clipping mask!
With this idea in mind, I’ve added 9 different elements (paper note, watercolor paint, watercolor spatter, paint, newsie stamp, grid stamp, spray, thread and distressed framed photo) in this template for you to play with. Feel free to clip colors, papers, paints, elements, whatever you want to them. And don’t forget to play with blending modes and other settings to create a layout that totally fits your style.

Here's this month template
For users of Photoshop and other softwares that support .psd and .tiff files, I've included clipped fill layers that allow you to quickly and easily change the color of the different shapes. Don't forget to read the instructions for use included in the file.
So, for this challenge you have to:
• reply « I want to play » in this thread so I send you the link to download the template by private message,
• create a layout using the provided template,
• make this template your own by flipping it, rotating it, shrinking or enlarging it,
• use ALL the items layered in the template,
• customize EACH of the 9 items in grayscale by adding color, clipping paper, stamps, etc, BUT you can’t modify the 7 additional elements (ephemera stamp, stitches, paper lace strip, flower, tape, ticket and button) except by moving and/or resizing them,
• add AT LEAST 5 items and LIST THEM when you post your layout to this thread,
• have fun letting your creativity shine!
Here’s the layout I created using my WINTER STORIES | collection
I’ve added 11 elements: 1 punchinella, 4 paper snowflakes (white, kraft, lilac x2), 1 kraft snippet, 1 lace bit, 1 text stamp, 1 transfer, 2 snowflake scatters + 1 background paper.

Challenge Requirements:
• Create a layout following the instructions above
• your layout must be created with 75% current PBP Designers’ Products. You may use product from any of our active designers.
• You may use retired product if it was retired from PBP in the last three months. The retired product can only account for the 25% “non-current” PBP Designs.
NOTE: by using 100% Bellisae Designs products you will receive a small gift from me at the end of the month PLUS you may qualify for my Annual Special Prize (please read the conditions at the end of this post)
• Your layout must be a NEW layout and must be used for this challenge only.
• Upload your layout to your PBP Gallery, to the PBP Team Challenges, to the Designer Challenge Gallery AND make sure to link the products used in the credits.
• Add your layout to this thread so that we can all see the layouts everyone has done.
• Link your post in this thread to your gallery layout so people can leave you some love.
• Make a post in this month’s tracking thread for all of your challenges.
• Add the gallery link for your layout from this challenge to your tracking post. (Please do not add images to the tracking thread.) That way we’ll be able to easily see who has earned the monthly prize.
• The deadline for this challenge is February 29, 2024.
MONTHLY CHALLENGE PRiZE
Complete all of this month’s CT and Designer Challenges according to the outline set by the host, and you’ll receive a GOODiE BAG of PRiZES from the PBP Design Team!
