ARC Review- I enjoyed this book from start to finish.💜lovers to enemies to lovers💜forced marriage💜college romance💜obsessive💜stalkerLyrical and Snow were once best friends, their families are part of a Society that believes in arranged marriages of convenience. They are to be married. Her best friend Bailey Snow’s sister is in a tragic car accident and Lyrical is to blame but she feels like something is not right.He wants revenge on Lyrical for his sister’s death.There are so many twists to this book.

    Oh. My. Yes! I just met my first J.M. Stoneback book and am so in love with this author’s spellbinding storytelling. Ruthless God blissfully burns from cover to cover. I was held hostage the whole time reading .. so owned by this tale full of torment, tension, and tenderness. I fell hard for this love story that’s as savage as it is sweet.

    Ruthless God is a trifecta of bully, mafia, and arranged marriage romance set at a university. I couldn’t get enough of the deliciously dangerous game of cat and mouse with a devastatingly handsome and dominating devil of a prince, a beautiful and bold princess, and the tangled past that ties them together. Broken sees broken, and Lyrical and Snow are two kindred souls who are combustible together, and I fell so hard for them both.

    Prepare to fall for Ruthless God, a heart-racing roller coaster full of chills, thrills, twists, turns, and all the feels.     I have read several books by this author and unfortunately this one didn’t grab me the way others have. I struggled connecting to the characters at the beginning of the book and although they did grow on me as the book went on I still didn’t love them.

    Lyrical Haynes went through hell and nobody really listened to her and everyone presumed she was guilty after the accident. I hated that she was judged and I gave the character credit for sticking around but she was walking a fine line with everything going around her. She believed she was innocent yet never went about trying to prove it.

    Revi “Snow” Williams was a giant bully and also a killer who was hell bent on getting revenge on Lyrical yet for someone who was previously her “best friend” he never listened to her after the accident or trusted her. That frustrated me a lot and he just made her life hell yet wanted to kill anyone who went near her.

    The book was best friends to enemies and then to lovers which worked in a certain sense but I was just so frustrated at all the parental interference and lack of trust. I was happy that the eventually Snow figured things out and realized the mistake he made and worked on making things better.

    I have to also say though that I absolutely hated the ending with one character and that made me super mad when I finished. I couldn’t get why the author would do what they did in making the readers happy to only take it all away again.

    I will read what the author has next but I am a little frustrated with this one.

    Lyrical and Snow have been inseparable since they were 17 years old and arranged to be married after college. She was also best friends with his sister Bailey. Their fathers are involved in the Billionaire’s Club. But all that went down the tubes after a car accident killed Bailey and Lyric was the driver. She said they were drugged. But Snow didn’t believe her and seeks out his revenge towards her. Until someone is now trying to kill her and he’s fighting his feelings. Oh man the craziness is real lol. There’s a lot of chaos , trauma , and sexy af. This book was amazing. Now on to Lilac and Irvin’s story.

    Hate to love with a side of vengeance is the predominant theme in this book. This story follows Snow and Lyrical, who had been best friends for years until a terrible accident turned their worlds upside down.

    Snow is a complicated man, molded by his father to take over the secret society that Snow grew up in. He was intent on making Lyrical’s life miserable for her role in the tragedy that tore them apart. Snow’s intent to enact revenge on Lyrical was something that bothered me. One incident, and he seemed to forget all the years of friendship and love that they shared. But I did enjoy how unhinged Snow was, and when it came down to it, he wasn’t going to let anyone else mess with Lyrical.

    My heart went out to Lyrical and her survivor’s guilt. She went through so much, but her love for Snow never wavered.

    There were so many twists and turns, and they just kept coming, keeping me engaged. I loved the angst and the tension between Snow and lyrical, and once things got steamy between them, they were explosive.

    I love a good dark romance, and Ruthless God has potential.
    This book is steamy, dark, and twisted.

    I did find myself having a hard time connecting with the characters and skimmed through multiple sections.

    I was not the biggest fan of the sentence structure, but the book is exactly what it claims to be.

    This book is definitely a spicy college romance that contains angst, twists, and undeniable chemistry between Snow and Lyrical.
    Although I had a hard time connecting to this book, it doesn't mean you won't love it!!

    “Ruthless God” is one of those books that will pull you in from the beginning and doesn’t lose its pace. Author JM Stoneback leads readers into a world where the mafia's hardness blends in with a bit of university life through two main characters, Lyrical and Snow.

    Though childhood friends once, Lyrical and Snow were to be married once they came of age, but when an unfortunate accident happened, and all blame was put on Lyrical, Snow became quite revengeful.

    Some romances with the revenge theme continue with that portion longer than necessary. I appreciated how the author handled the pacing of “Ruthless God” to allow the characters to progress earlier; this allowed more time to be spent on the heavier plotline of what Snow and his family were involved in. I really liked the shift of the story as it grew darker with all the emotional dips—high and low—until the end.

    I enjoyed the world JM Stoneback created in Book 1 and look forward to what will happen next to the other characters.

    This one was a ride that surprised me throughout. Snow is a man who's absolutely cray cray and is unapologetic about what he does and the limits he's ready to cross if someone wrongs him.

    Snow always had a crush on his sister's bestie, Lyrical. Even though their families have arranged their marriage together, he's always kept his distance from her and kept her safe.

    Until a horrible incident happens that leaves him seeking revenge on Lyrical for her role in what happened.
    From then on, we see Snow make a complete 180 in his behaviour towards Lyrics.
    He wants to make her life 𝗁𝖾𝗅𝗅 and does everything to do the same.

    But what he didn't know was Lyrical wants the 𝗍𝗐𝗂𝗌𝗍𝖾𝖽 𝖿𝖺𝗇𝗍𝖺𝗌𝗒 𝖺𝗌 𝗆𝗎𝖼𝗁 𝖺𝗌 𝗁𝖾 𝖽𝖾𝗌𝗂𝗋𝖾𝗌 and once he finds out, it's game on for them and Snow loves that he gets to do the most 𝗍𝗐𝗂𝗌𝗍𝖾𝖽 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖽𝖾𝖻𝖺𝗎𝖼𝗁𝖾𝖽 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗇𝗀𝗌 and Lyrical might 𝗁𝖺𝗍𝖾 him but loves everything that he does to her.

    The story though thoroughly kept me engaged not only with their craziness and possessiveness and the hotter than fire 𝗌𝗉𝗂𝖼𝗒 𝗌𝖼𝖾𝗇𝖾𝗌 (𝗐𝗁𝗂𝖼𝗁 𝖺𝗋𝖾 𝖽𝖺𝗋𝗄 for sure), but we also have secrets and dangerous plot twists that just creep up on you and leave you shocked.

    Snow might be one 𝗎𝗇𝗁𝗂𝗇𝗀𝖾𝖽 𝗆𝖺𝖽𝗆𝖺𝗇 when it comes to Lyrical but there's no doubting his devotion for her. If he's crazy then he's also protective about her to the point of obsession (Imagine having a tracker on her body, just to keep her safe). Yeah, he's that much crazy.

    But I couldn't deny how perfect they were for each other.
    Although the unalivings in the name of jealousy had me a little irked because of how uncaring they were about it.

    There are also some really horrible secrets and wild turns that when they came to light had me shocked but also upset but then I get that it's part of the storyline.

    If you're in the mood for a 𝖽𝖾𝗅𝗂𝖼𝗂𝗈𝗎𝗌 𝖽𝖺𝗋𝗄 𝖼𝗈𝗅𝗅𝖾𝗀𝖾 𝗋𝗈𝗆𝖺𝗇𝖼𝖾 𝗐𝗂𝗍𝗁 𝗋𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗇𝗀𝖾 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗆𝖾𝗌 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗅𝗈𝗍𝗌 𝗈𝖿 𝗌𝗉𝗂𝖼𝖾 𝗐𝗂𝗍𝗁 𝗍𝗐𝗂𝗌𝗍𝖾𝖽 𝖽𝖾𝗌𝗂𝗋𝖾𝗌, then this one will be a wild ride for sure. 🔥
