When reading any novel about the Houston Wildcatters, one can be sure of romance, protective athletes, and suspenseful moments. The team was just a closely knit brotherhood until they started to find love and discovered that their Cats made them a family. For some time, the players had been concerned for Lennon as they knew something had happened that not only left him severely injured but also brokenhearted, and they resolved to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Lennon and Vivian's story is heartfelt and emotional. I found it very easy to get wrapped up in this read. The characters are likable, and their chemistry is undeniable. Poignancy, sweetness, spice, heart, and emotion.

I love this hockey romance series. Vivian and Lennon meet on a vacation that has an instant attraction that pulls them together. Something occurs that make Lennon send Vivian away for her safety. He does not tell her why. A plan to reunite the couple. A page turner.
