Wow, saying I loved this book barely scratches the surface of how I felt when I started reading it. The story follows Cash and Everly, childhood friends who last saw each other in school right after they both got dumped. On that day, they made a pact to marry each other if they were still single at 30. As fate would have it, they reunite in none other than Las Vegas, where they're both working. Everly decides to have a few drinks with Cash, and one thing leads to another – they wake up together in a room, rings on their fingers and a marriage certificate to boot!
I'm a sucker for slow-burn romances, and this book unexpectedly became one of my favorites. The plot was fantastic, but the author's writing style really sealed the deal, bringing these precious characters to life. I was so excited about this book that I couldn't even put it down – it was just that addictive!
Cash is so much more than his jokes and humor. Behind that facade is still the boy who had an accident that left him with a scar. As the story progresses, we delve deeper into his history and get to know him better, witnessing real character development. He's so brave, and his scar is loved by both Everly and me.
Everly, our protagonist with a black cat personality, is absolutely amazing. I could totally understand why Cash fell for her. She's truly precious, and the work she does is incredible – I saw a bit of myself in her. What really tugged at my heartstrings was how fiercely Cash protected her.
Each character in this book was utterly charming, and I loved the narrative style. I can't wait to read another book by this author! I went crazy reading this book because it was so thrilling to experience all these moments, both as a couple and with their families.
I think this had potential - but there was just something missing for me. Listed as a 'no third act breakup' situation ... but where's the drama? lol I need the angst I guess and I just didn't feel any really.
This was so good! I loved the beginning where they were definitely into each other in high school but nothing ever came of it. Now, they're both around 30 and meet in Vegas and get married. They have to pretend to stay married and not get an annulment because of company/business reason.
They had fantastic chemistry and I really loved the hero and his family. When he brought her home!? Swooooon. Plus he's a billionaire, which doesn't hurt. I really loved how she was great at business too and really loved her place in her father's company in London. And them living together!? Loved.
I will say, once we hit around 75%, the book did slow down for me and I wasn't as invested since the romance was pretty much established, but that's more of a personal thing when it comes to romances for me. Overall, I had such a fun time reading this book and can't wait to read more in this series!
- childhood friends to strangers to lovers - vegas wedding - he's been in love with her for years - haven't seen each other for years (since HS, based on one review) - grumpy (h) x sunshine (H)
The notes above were intriguing and all, but then the "reformed playboy" trope ruined things for me. Sorry, nope, I can't do it. It might've been years since they've seen each other, but, maaaan, really??? Sleeping around???? 🤦
Apparently, they also made a pact when they were young that if they were still single when they hit 30, they would get married instead. So maybe he did have his fun until his 30th birthday because he was waiting for her???? Yeah, I don't think so. But then again, maybe I was wrong. 🤷♀️ I'm not gonna get the answer anyway.
I hope this works for other readers.

Cash & Everly’s story was absolutely everything I could ever want in a marriage of convenience mixed with friends to lovers. This review would be 10 pages long if I told y’all every single quote/scene that made me giddy, so I’ll dial it back a notch. Just know, I FREAKING LOVED THIS BOOK.
Everly was a fantastic FMC. She is so caring for her found family and her twin brother. She has spent most of her adult career trying to make her father happy, to the point of overworking herself. Cash comes into her life after 14 years and they get married in Vegas on a whim, fulfilling a marriage pact they made as teenagers.
Cash was the most caring and devoted book husband. This man is DOWN BAD for his wife. 😮💨 He has dealt with self confidence issues due to a childhood accident that left him with facial scars. Luckily, Everly is quick to show him just how handsome he is, inside and out.
This is a medium burn, deliciously spicy book! Cash is a man who lives to please his wife in whatever way he can. The “my wife” vibes he gives off had me alllllll hot and bothered. I loved that the sexual tension and power was equal between them.
This is another time where Johanna strikes again if you know what I mean. 😉 Harrison doesn’t stand a chance when it comes to trying to stay single. 😂 I really can’t wait for broody and serious Harrison to meet his match!
💍 If you love a hot billionaire, marriage of convenience, where he worships the ground his wife walks on, go add 𝐈𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐀 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐧 𝐄𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 to your TBR today!
A second chance at true kinship romance of a novel that will have you wanting more of Cash & Everly...
When Ann announced that Cash's story was next in the series, my feet kept kicking back and forth with excitement! And when I started reading his story with Everly, I knew that the excitement was well anticipated. Cash is such a cocky male character, but cocky in a way that is well deserved. And Everly is this strong minded woman that is a total bad ass. Seeing Cash after years of not seeing each other was a sigh for sour eyes for her. The instant attraction was there and the chemistry was present as well. Their fake relationship starts as fake, but slowly progresses to having their feelings being validated by being real.
I loved everything about these two, and their banter was so fun to read. I truly enjoyed myself while reading their story. I cannot wait to see what else Ann has in store!
ARC kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review...
Ahhh, smell that? That's the Fresh Sent of a Pining Hero.
And Cash Stafford is nothing if not a Pining Hero. He's been in love with his best friend's twin sister for years! In fact he, he made a wedding pact with Everly when they were 18, and when they both find themselves in Vegas for different business reasons... he's ready to collect. And once he gets her to the altar.. he's tenacious about keeping her.
"I'm never letting you go, Everly Townsend."
Once they are married, we learn that an annulment on't be an easy thing as it could complicate a business deal between their family companies. Oh darn.. you mean they have to stay "fake married" for a period of time? Cash is gonna make the most of that time and prove he is the one for her.
This book has all the charm that I am growing accustomed to from the author and all the heart and spice that make me swoon. These two had crazy chemistry and Cash wastes no time in making that clear to Everly. They could have this feeling forever, if only she gives it a real chance.
I adored these two. I loved how the bantered and flirted. I loved how protective and supportive Cash was. He doesn't want to hold her back from anything and he won't put up with any crud from her father, who is an absolute scumbag.
I loved all the cameos of family members and seeing what everyone is up to. There was a nice tease for the next couple, though we have a bit to wait for that one. We do have another novella to look forward to later this year.
Do yourself a favor and grab this one as soon as you can and be ready to fall in love.
5 stars 3.5 on the spice scale

˚˖𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒✧˚.🎀༘⋆ A MARRIAGE IN VEGAS, AN END DATE, AND TWO CHILDHOOD FRIENDS WHO REUNITE IN THIS BEAUTIFUL, COZY ROMANCE ˚˖𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒✧˚.🎀༘⋆
I'm loving more and more Ann Einerson books, because they tend to be cozy, low-on-angst romances that feel so nice to read. They really don't have any major problem inside the storyline, you can expect in this one a story without a third-act breakup which I know many would like to know this! The couple communicates easily and fixes their issues together and it fits them so much <3 Everly and Cash are so cute together - I really never got enough of them and wanted to keep reading about them.
In this novel, you get two childhood friends who make a marriage pact when they were teenagers, that if they're 30 and still single, they would marry each other. 14 years later, they bump into each other in Vegas and after a drunken night they wake up to find out they got married the night before. Of course, you kinda know that Cash has been half in love with Everly since her was 16-17 so he's very much happy to continue this. Everly has been apprehensive to love because she has been burnt before by her ex and she doesn't want to ever feel like that again.
The way Cash slowly knocks down every single wall Everly has. The nightly dinner, the spending time with her constantly, the spoiling her, the always on her corner vibes - that man adores her and it's clear as day and he makes it obvious. Everly needed someone that went to bat for her and Cash is that guy!
I love returning to the Stafford family - they're seriously the B E S T -`♡´- They have the best relationship and it's nice to also see the couples once again. Gosh, I have to read the first one aka Presley and Jack's because it's the only one I haven't read??? I'm in shock. NEED TO REMEDY THIS PRONTO.
I liked that there isn't a third-act breakup and loved the small-town vibe at some parts but that's all. I'll probably forget the whole story by the end of the month.
I’m quickly realizing a trope that I love is the Oooops I accidentally got drunk and got married in Vegas! Now combine that with brother’s best friend who is a billionaire and that’s a starter pack for a 5 star ⭐️ banger!
Besties, this book was so good! I absolutely loved the plot on this one. Cash and Everly has known each other since childhood and were friends growing up but did not stay in touch after they went their separate ways for college. But that didn't stop Cash from pining after Everly for years. But she was always the one he was never allowed to go after because she was his best friend's twin sister. But that doesn't stop them from accidentally getting married in Vegas! I mean I don't think I could come up with a better plot line than that!
I loved both Cash and Everly individually and as a couple. This is your classic golden retriever x black cat pairing and it was written to perfection! But of course behind Cash's care free and laid back persona is someone who using humor to mask how he feels about himself. And I have to say, I loved how Ann touched on some struggles that Cash has had to work through throughout the years. And to have Everly accept him for his "flaws" and help him step into this person that everyone knows he can be was truly beautiful!
So yeah, I gobbled this one up. The plot was amazing and kept me fully immersed. And our boy Cash loves to wine, dine and spoil our girl Everly. He also can't seem to keep his hands off her in the best possible way. So can we all find ourselves a Cash Stafford in real life? Asking for a friend of course.
You should most definitely read this book if you like: - Billionaire Romance - Marriage of Convenience - Brother's Best Friend - Forced Proximity - Childhood friends to Strangers to Lovers - He Falls First and Hard - He's Pining for YEARS - My "Wife" - One Bed

💍 Billionaire 💒 Marriage of Convenience 💍 Childhood crush 💒 Brother's Best Friend 💍 He Falls First 💒 One Bed
A silly teenage marriage pact turns into a drunken Vegas elopement 14 years later, I mean come on this is the re-meet cute of my dreams! Cash and Everly’s story made my heart smile, and when I wasn’t smiling I was fanning myself because this book was HOT 🔥! What’s a girl gotta do to move to Aspen Grove?
P.S. I cannot wait for Harrison and Fallon’s story!
P.P.S. Not going to prentend I didn’t see When You Give a Lawyer a Kiss as a related book. What is this, Ann? Explain yourself!!
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️= open door, multiple scenes, descriptive
♥︎ Many thanks to Ann Einerson for the eARC of If You Give a Billionaire a Bride!
Cash has had a thing for Everly since forever but since she was his best friends sister she was off limits they had a cute moment when they were younger making a pack to get married if they were single. Now, 14 years later, they meet again in vegas. Everly is a little cold towards Cash, which idk why? But he was the same Cash. They do something kinda dumb lol get drunk and married in vegas.
And that's when the adventure starts they have to stay married, so the deal they are doing doesn't get messed up, plus they can't tell ppls the whole real truth since Everly brother would kill him. The relationship is alittle rough at first but Cash was the perfect husband always making sure his wife was taken care of even when he had his own demons (his scar) to deal with he was on point. Everly was dealing with her own drama, her father, who was a douche and was glad Cash made sure he stood up for his wife.
The spice was okay. I wish it was more spicy. We also get our side charas and a new romance for the next book. And I'm wondering why Harraison dislikes Fallon so much.

If You Give a Billionaire a Bride is a marriage of convenience, brother’s best friend, billionaire romance that starts off with a Vegas wedding!
Cash and Everly grew up around one another as he was her twin brother Theo’s best friend. Warned against making a move on her in highschool, they were always close instead and even had a marriage pact in highschool, that if they’re both single by the time they’re 30, they’ll get married to one another! Now it’s years later, they’ve haven’t seen one another since highschool, but end up running into each other in Las Vegas! Drinks are poured, the marriage pact is brought up, and they wake up married! Because of business deals between their families, they end up keeping the marriage even after Vegas when they return back home to London.
I adored these two together! They were so cute and I loved how he was so into her and wanting to spoil her and give her the world. His family is super cute and has been featured throughout the series as well. He is a billionaire, he has a facial scar, I loved how she calls him Stafford, and allllll the times he calls her wifey. “I’ve never had a wife, so hopefully you’ll cut me some slack if I do this all wrong.” Stopppp he’s precious! 🤭
I received an ARC, all thoughts in this review are my own.
DNF @10% I may not have been in the right mood, but this wasn’t for me. I know that romances aren’t supposed to be realistic, but the characters’ actions and reactions to things were just so unrealistic and cheesy, I couldn’t take it seriously.
IF YOU GIVE A BILLIONAIRE A BRIDE is just marriage of convenience perfection with the absolute swooniest billionaire. CASH completely stole my heart, and this man lived to spoil his bride!
TROPES ⬇️ ✨ Childhood Friends to Lovers ✨ Brother’s Best Friend ✨ Marriage of Convenience ✨ He Falls First ✨ Billionaire Romance
Cash and Evey were perfect from the very beginning. They grew up together and even though Cash was told Everly was off limits, he still harbored a crush in her, so much so that they made a marriage pact. When he runs into her years later in Vegas, he can’t help but convince her to marry him!
I love the Stafford family so much, and Cash has a special place in my heart. The misunderstood playboy was just so so good! I loved how patient he was with Everly and how sure he was about her and their impromptu marriage.
This book is full of swooning and spice and I loved every minute of it. Now I just need to find a billionaire that will buy me a room of designer shoes too!
Read this! It’s positively adorable and you are going to love how cute Cash and Everly are, and how fun the entire meddling family is!
cute book but romance books are lacking the anticipation feeling I get while reading a book for a long time now. I was bored in between but the fmc and mmc were very cute. they understood the assignment of 'communicating' and did it so well. mmc seemed like a jerk in the beginning but he grew on him with him being so considerate and thoughtful for everly. I definitely fell for the lawyer dawson tho. August and Evie's bond was definitely something I admired throughout the book.

my friend literally sold me this book by saying it is a billionaire romance novel which has the black amex scene iykyk🤭
Billionaire + best friend’s sister + drunk wedding in Vegas = If You Give a Billionaire a Bride
Cash and Everly have known each other since they were kids, with Cash being best friends with Everly’s twin brother. Cash has always had a thing for her, but is warned away by her brother, so he settles for friendship instead. One night in high school, Cash and Everly make a marriage pact, agreeing to marry each other if they are still single at 30. Life happens and they fall out of touch, but end up in Vegas at the same time. One thing leads to another and they wake up with hangovers and wedding rings!
Despite them deciding to stay married for business related reasons, Cash took this as a chance to show Everly that he was all in and would love and be devoted to her if she let him in. These two brought out the best in each other. Cash has a facial scar from an accident, and Everly reminds him of his beauty and never lets him hide or feel less than the beautiful soul he is. Everly is learning to trust again after a failed engagement, as she realizes Cash is nothing like her ex.
This was adorable and I had a good time reading it. The Stafford family is hilarious and catching up with past couples is always fun. The author definitely has me intrigued for Dawson’s book and Harrison’s books! I can’t wait!
TROPES: marriage of convenience, Vegas wedding, brother’s best friend, only one bed, “my wife”, billionaire, no 3rd act breakup, close knit family
TRIGGER WARNINGS: toxic parents/parental abandonment, cheating (not between H/h)
Beta/edit read. Thank you so much to Ann for letting me be a part of this book!
This is such an adorable marriage of convenience and childhood friends to lovers story. I always love to see the progression and that special moment when they realize it was never fake, and their feelings have been real all along. Couple this with amazing tension and heat and you are looking at your next summer read! And we can't forget about all the Aspen Grove character cameos. The meddling family, the puppies... just so dang cute.
This story was just soooo boring. It took me days to finish it, cause every time I started to read, I had to take multiple breaks in between.
So the FMC and MMC got married in Vegas, drunk, because they created a pact that they would marry each other if they weren’t married by the age of 30.
The MMC has always had a crush on the FMC, and it seems like the FMC felt the same way.
The MMC is a reformed playboy… like what now? That just was such an unnecessary addition to the story…
He was a playboy cause he was insecure of the scar he got on his face after an accident. So he became a playboy to get validation…
And then they decided to stay married because their companies were joining forces.
And the MMC kept coming up with ideas to why they should stay together, while the FMC was hell bent on getting a divorce.
That really ruined the mood…
This story was so slow and nothing really happened until the end. In the end it was revealed that the FMCs father was embezzling money and using their company as a front.
I previously read If You Give A Single Dad A Nanny, from this same series, which I adored. So I was very grateful to receive an ARC for this book and dive back into Aspen Grove and the lives of these characters.
The first half of the book is wonderful. Two childhood friends drunkenly get married in Vegas and the next day they are faced with having to figure out what to do. Cash, the male main character, has always been in love with Everly, so he’s ready to just go for it. Everly is a bit more realistic and less sure she wants to stay hitched. After the initial panic wears off she slowly warms up to the idea of staying with Cash, though. And who wouldn’t! The guy takes care of her, is a genuinely good person from a warm family and is filthy rich. In this heightened book world there is no bad side to him at all. 100% fairytale dreamboat perfection.
Despite starting off at the altar, this is a slow burn romance. I really enjoyed the journey, but I didn’t really enjoy Cash and Everly as much once they really got together. The chemistry is great, don’t get me wrong. But I didn’t love the way sex and intimacy was handled. The voyeurism was too weird for me and the whole shoe store scene gave me the ick too. It lost some of that sweet romanticism for me. Them sleeping together took over too much of the story for a good chunk. It felt repetitive and just a bit much.
I was very happy the book ended with more family scenes though. The Stafford family is so warm. I liked that it always starts and ends there and that we got to see the next book teed up at the end of this one too. Looking forward to Harrison’s story!
This book was charming, cute, and nothing short of perfection. I devoured it in one sitting because I could not put it down. 𝕀𝕗 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝔾𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝕒 𝔹𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕚𝕣𝕖 𝕒 𝔹𝕣𝕚𝕕𝕖 has officially solidified itself as my favorite book in the series.
Cash + Everly were absolutely delightful. I loved their romance. The chemistry between them was evident from the prologue and it only got better as the story progressed. There was so much cuteness. The fact that Cash had been pining over Everly since they were in high school, the marriage pact, the way Everly truly saw Cash, the ending with old Miller house, and the “my wife” moments about took me out 🫠😍 I could literally go on and on about all the moments I loved in this book. It was so good.
I love this series, Aspen Grove, and The Stafford family. Their meddling will never get old. I’m looking at you Mama Stafford 😉 Very much looking forward to Harrison’s book. Also, DAWSON?! I just know that’s going to be a solid book. I can’t wait!
Brothers best friend with childhood friends in a marriage pact that they drunkenly engage in whilst in vegas between a golden retriever slash reformed playboy mmc and a black cat fmc who doesn’t believe in love and romance? = trope galore! With no third act breakup?! There was nothing more that Ann could add…! She’s *that* talented!
And she truly served us with her latest instalment!
Cash is just the most swooniest hero, he is totally down bad for his woman.. or should I say “wifey”..! I think that Ann’s version is the hottest.. even when hardened mafia men call their woman, their “wife”.. Cash just serves! His gestures and swoony
Everly, I love her… even after a bad experience in the romance department, and witnessing other bad relationships, her bravery and trust in Cash and so sweet. Their hot steamy times are just that… hot and hella steamy…! Ann just writes the most filthiest and steaming hottt smexy scenes!
Childhood friends who pine after each other and use a marriage pact in hopes for the future… ace! ;)
