From the electric moment I laid eyes on her in Vegas, I knew tattoo artist Jordan Deveraux was my destiny. Our chemistry was fiery, undeniable—a single night of passion would never be enough. Walking away from her was agony, easily the biggest regret of my life.
Years later, I'm wealthy and successful, but still haunted by the siren of the sea. Jordan's game of pretend can't hide the heat that's still smoldering between us, and little does she know, I hold the roadmap to turn all her fantasies into reality. Stranded on my boat, the waves aren't the only things rocking—Jordan finds her ability to resist me sinking faster than a lead anchor.
But here's the catch—my past isn't as spotless as the skyscrapers I design, and my secrets threaten to pull us under. Can we navigate these turbulent waters and find a future together, or will my mistake capsize everything?
Get swept away by the unforgettable journey of Peter and Jordan and their story of rediscovery, irresistible attraction, and the power of their once-in-a-lifetime connection.

Super Hot Second Chance Romance
The Tryst List by Kaylene Winters is out today. This is the story of Jordan Devereaux (older sister of Jase Devereaux of LTZ) and Peter Vander, who met in Vegas when young and shared a magical night together. It was a one night that seemed like the start of so much more. But when Jordan awoke in the morning, Peter was gone, having left no note or way to contact him. Fast forward eight years, both Jordan and Peter had become highly successful in their chosen professions. Jordan had just gotten out of a long-term relationship and was determined to be more adventurous. She had made a coital bucket list, a Tryst List, and was determined to expand her horizons. Peter had been waiting in the wings for Jordan for years. He scheduled an appointment with her for a tattoo, hoping to reconnect. But when he arrived Jordan pretended not to know him, and eventually admitted that she hated him for leaving her and destroying her self confidence. It was up to Peter to find a way to win her forgiveness and, if possible, her heart. This was a super spicy, tale about love, and trust, family ties, and the damage that secrets can cause in a relationship and to one’s life in general. I love the emphasis that the author has placed in many of her books on the value of therapy in learning to cope with past trauma so that it doesn’t threaten to damage one’s future. I think that the book is less about Jordan’s Tryst List and more about openness in relationships with a strong foundation. I also enjoy how interconnected the author’s books have been so far. Characters from most of her backlist make appearances in her books, even when an initial connection is not apparent. If you enjoy steamy contemporary romance, you should enjoy this second chance romance too. I am voluntarily writing this honest review after reading an advanced complementary copy of this novel thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions and Kaylene Winters.
Loved this!
As with all of Kaylene Winter’s books, you will be all in your feels with this one! This is book three of the series, told in dual first person POV and will have you wanting to make your own Tryst List!
I love that Jordan finally got her own story! I love that she is a successful tattoo artist, I love reading books where the woman is dominating a career path that is mainly men (and in our reality, I love that there are more women tattoo artists popping up and dominating this world! 🫶🏼). My heart hurt for her when her one-night stand broke her heart, although I loved her inspiration to create a list of things to try and broaden her experiences in and out of the bedroom! I loved that she made Paul work for her attention/forgiveness and voice his acknowledgement of her being the one-night stand from years ago.
I couldn’t decide if I wanted to love or hate Paul for his actions in the beginning. Once I found out his past and the events that led to his departure from that one night, and seeing how hard he worked to bring her barriers down and explore her list, he won me over. My heart hurt for him and all that he was dealing with, but I was happy to see that he had a good outcome while also winning the girl.
I have read all of Kaylene Winter’s books and with each book, I fall more in love with her writing style. I love that she brings real world experiences to her stories and awareness to things that are less talked about. I can’t wait to see what she brings us next! I was provided an advanced readers copy. These thoughts and opinions are my own.
