I absolutely freaking ADORED Gabe. This man has eyes for ONLY Molly and he makes sure the world knows. The chemistry between them was palpable. I was not prepared for the level of tears this book pulled out of me, but I loved this story!

Gabe fully embodied allllll the hot tech billionaire vibes while also being ADORABLY nerdy. Like seriously, the way he’s described is my dream man. 🥹🤣 I love him and his superhero shirts and Lego builds!
Molly is wild, free, & chaotic and I was able to relate to her character so much. She is such a powerful woman. I love how she stands strong in the knowledge that she is more than capable to do her job as a lawyer.
Molly and Gabe were perfect for each other when they met in college but tragedy broke them apart. Ten years later, Gabe is back with the soul purpose of winning her back.

just when I thought Samantha was gonna give me a break after the emotional roller coaster that was Emma & Jeremy. I love Gabe & Molly and that plot twist, OH MY GAWD! please check your triggers before reading but this was such a great conclusion to the series. I'll miss this found family and I really hope we'll see them in Samantha's future books. I'm still reeling from the amount of heart that was this book. Gabe & Molly were so great together. As always, the girls girl aspect was very prevalent and I was so here for it! Congratulations to Samantha on the completion of her debut series and cheers to the next one! This is a book that I will end up reading over and over. The whole series has really become a comfort series to me. And for that I am forever thankful!
I am a second chance hoe!!! And I ate this one right up!! Molly has always had that mysterious aspect to her, and you just can’t wait to get detail on it. When Mollys college boyfriend/love of her life decides he wants her back, he comes at her full force.
Gabe is actually so incredibly perfect!!! The lengths he will go for Molly>>>> when Gabe comes back into Mollys life he owns up to his mistake and goes to the ends of the earth to make it right.
Molly is an incredible character!! She’s one of those people you can’t help but love. Molly is someone that everyone would gravitate towards, and I want to be her when I grow up.
The breadcrumbs left for Yours To Lose and what’s to come next is absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! Just you guys wait and see. You will LOVE!!

The perfect conclusion to the Laws of You series. I’ve always loved Molly, and to no one’s surprise, I fell in love with Gabe instantly. I related so much to Molly’s fear of being too much. We can have days where we feel confidence and self-love, and then something comes along and makes us feel scared that projecting ourselves into the world will invite rejection and negativity. But luckily, if you have good people around you, you’ll soon after be reminded how amazing you are, how loved, and how appreciated for everything that makes you, you. if this book reminded me of anything, it’s this: don’t waste time, because time with people you love is precious, and always tell the people you love that you love them, and WHY you love them. Sometimes, it’s more about hearing the qualities you possess that make you so irreplaceable and special to the people you love. It’s the reminder that you are loved for exactly WHO you are.
Samantha Brinn always makes me appreciate tropes so much more through her storytelling, and this book was no different with the second chance romance trope. Something I love about this story is there wasn’t too much resistance. Sometimes, in a second chance romance, there is so much fear to try again that it keeps the couple apart far longer than it should. Of course there were fears, doubts, weariness, but there was a hell of a lot of forgiveness and understanding too, and I really appreciated that about Molly and Gabe’s story. It felt like a very emotionally mature second chance romance. Without denial of the love they knew they have for each other.
To Sam: thank you for sharing your series, your characters, your heart with us. The Laws of You series has made a major impact on my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have been an ARC reader from beginning to end. It’s been very special for me.

I’ve been contemplating if I was in a good headspace while finishing/reviewing this book and I’ve come to the conclusion that I was a tad harsh initially. Although I still do feel the same as the below I do want to recognize that Molly & Gabe’s story was very good. Their book deals with a lot of heavy topics and in doing so really set up well for Sam’s new series. There were a few things unfortunately weren’t my favorite and that’s ok!
The issues I had with it:
• Molly’s nickname “Rory” - got a little redundant to me. And the background behind it seems like a stretch. Maybe if it were her middle name? But just bc she likes the northern light > aurora borealis > Rory. 😕
• The middle potion of the book kind of dragged IMO. It felt about a tad too long. But then BAM - she got me sucked back in.
• Ok so I hate to yuck someone’s yum but 👅 coming near an 🍑 🕳️ is just not for me. I think brief mention doesn’t bother me but it’s described in great detail at the end of this book and I had to skim some of it.
But anyways this was enjoyable for the most part. I feel like my review is kind of all over the place because I really liked parts of it but also didn’t love some other parts! I think I could resonate more with the FMCs from book 1&2 and that played into my feeling on the book as well.
I NEED to read Jordan’s book and I can’t wait!

This book is for the girls who have been made to feel like they are too much. Too loud. Too messy. That they take up too much space and need to make themself smaller. This story is going to heal a little part of you.
Molly and Gabe are the epitome of a worthy second chance. When grief and pain break them apart in their early twenties, neither fully move on from their first great love. Though time heals most wounds theirs were never meant to heal without each other. These two were always meant to be.
Gabe our MMC is smart, driven, patient, intelligent, loving and so kind. When Gabe loses his parents during his last year of university he ends up losing so much more than he truly realizes. Molly was his one and ten years later he’s ready to make it right with her again. When he meets Molly again he knows that he is going to have to work for it. Watching his patients and complete care for Molly is beautiful. Never once in his entire relationship with her has he ever tried to change her or make her feel like she is too much. He accepts every single facet of her with no hesitation.
Molly our FMC is sunshine personified, brilliant, eccentric, caring, passionate and guarded in a way most people miss. When Gabe broke her heart ten years ago she swore she would never love the way she had. When Gabe comes back into her life her walls are built high and the conflict she feels is understandable. She knows they were young and he was grieving. However, past insecurities and pain eat at her. Watching her heal and allow Gabe back into her life was amazing. Seeing her face her past and heal the parts of her that she hid for years was therapeutic.
This book was one of grief, healing and growth. Watching Gabe and Molly face their past while also embracing their future was incredible. Seeing them grow together as well as individuals was so important. They were the perfect end to this series.

I absolutely DEVOURED this one. Samantha Brinn’s books are full of so much love and happiness, but this one also explores grief. She ripped my heart out for sure, but like always, the friend group was there to put me back together.

He knew who Molly was at her core (and loved every bit of her chaos) and was the only one who could break down her walls. Gabe was aware that Molly was a bit hesitant (even thought deep down she knew it was always him) and he made sure to prove that they belonged together with each revisited memory.
This was a great second chance romance and I loved Molly and Gabe but I also have to mention their friend group! I loved how easily the group took him in and how they all rooted for Molly’s HEA! It was also nice to see the girls asking for all the juicy details because that was usually Molly’s role.
I’m kind of sad to be leaving these couples and this series but I absolutely need the first book of her next series (iykyk). Thank you to Sam and Wordsmith Publicity for the ARC!

I cannot believe that this is the end of the series! I thought I was ready for it, but, no,no I was not. There are literally not enough stars.
The final novel in the Laws of You Series, follows Molly and Gabe, and while it can be read as a complete standalone, you get a much deeper understanding of who Molly is at her core if you start from the beginning with Because of You.
Molly is literally sunshine personified, and there is no better way to describe her. She "lives and loves out loud." But when she hurts, she turns inward and has a hard time letting anyone see it. I competely identify with her in these moments, moments of self-doubt and self-worth. Being told you are too much constantly and trying hard to believe when someone tells you you are perfect.
Gabe is the Cinna-retriever with extra frosting. I think my favorite line was when Julie says, "I understand your kind; I married one of you... By one of you, you mean... a puppy dog in human form." This sums up Gabe. Literally everything he does is to get Molly back, and I love him for that. He shows up and accepts her just as she is, chaos and all.
While this book is emotional and the emotions hit you like a ton of bricks when you least exect them, for me this one was her least emotional one, and I think a lot of that is impart, because of Molly's eternal sunshine, but when the emotions hit, hot damn! do they hit.
Let's talk about the friend groups, shall we? In that first present-day chapter where they all flank her? Um yes. The fact that they were all just ready to go to war, no questions asked, speaks to the depth to which this group is willing to go:

This book healed me, wrecked me, put me back together, and left my heart so full. I highlighted half the damn thing because while I’ve related to every character in this series in some way, Molly was different.
“Too loud, too messy, too much, too chaotic” — I felt that in my soul. All we ever want is to be accepted and loved as we are. And the way Molly embraces abcs loves herself? It’s so incredibly beautiful and inspiring. But then to read how Gabe (swoon daddy himself) loves Molly exactly as she is? No asterisks. No “but onlys.” Just love, in its purest, deepest form. Their story is everything.
And it’s not just the romance. It’s the self-love. The way the friends love and show up each other. The fact that these MMCs aren’t just hot, successful swoon machines, they’re good people. Kind humans. Amazing friends.
I was an absolute sobbing mess, for so many reasons. Like, is it normal to send videos of yourself crying to the author? Because hi, it’s me, I’m the problem, it’s me.
As far as this being the book end of the series, it ended exactly as it began — full circle, and the most beautiful way to close out an unforgettable story. This world was perfect, and I’m forever grateful that Sam gave us the chance to escape into it and maybe even heal parts of ourselves along the way. And knowing what’s ahead? I cannot wait for what’s to come.

The fourth and final book of my favorite series…was I ready for it to be over? Nope. Do I wish I could read *each one* for the first time again? You betcha. Was Molly and Gabe and their story all that it could be? Absolutely, and more. So much more. Did Gabe get added to my book boyfriend list? For sure. He’s off the charts and on the tippy top. I’ve said this for each of the books in this series, but the author infuses some sort of magic in her books and this one was so, so magical. Gabe finds Molly after a decade apart. Swoon. He’ll do anything to get her back. Double swoon. Bringing in more swoons are the fierce friend group consisting of strong women and sweet men, the second chance at romance and love with a nerdy billionaire, fake fiancé vibe, a found family can never be replaced, and loving someone for exactly who they are. There’s more Rachel (she’s my most favorite book mama ever!), there is amazing steam, spice and intimate moments…and then there was “the twist”. The twist of all twists that wrecked me. Have no fear, the HEA is still there and it is amazing, and made my heart full. I could go on and on about how much I loved this book-this *entire* series, and I will forever be recommending them.

Holy crap was this another emotional roller coaster and I loved every second of it. The plot twist?! Samantha, I needed way more tissues than I anticipated and need my heart to be fully healed asap!! I am still in my feels and I don’t have the words to express how much love I have for this book and series. This series has become a favorite of mine and I am so sad it has come to an end, but gosh was Molly and Gabe’s story beautiful.
Gabe is our nerdy, billionaire MMC with a mouth like no other. Molly is a badass lawyer who is wild, free, and chaotic. It’s always been Molly for Gabe and he is not afraid to express this or show it to the whole world. He loves Molly for exactly who she is and doesn’t want her to be anything but herself. Seeing the love they have for one another, even after the years they were separated, was truly something special.

I have really enjoyed this series from Sam! It's full of the best banter, vivacious and loving women, honest and loyal men, sexy spice and an epic, epic found family! I'm so sad this series is over but it's been amazing getting to know and spend time with Sam's debut characters!
Now, second chance isn't my favourite trope but throughout this series Sam has accomplished making me enjoy friends to lovers (the first book) and now second chance with Molly and Gabe's story. We've had hints of Molly's heartbreak throughout the series and we finally get the whole story of what happened with her college sweetheart / love of her life, Gabe! I loved how Gabe came back into Molly's life and was determined to do anything and everything to win her back. Let's be honest, he didn't have to try very hard but his efforts were very swoony worthy!!
I do have one slight negative which is why this isn't a 5 star read for me.. her nickname "Rory" was a little far fetched and over-used for me... don't shoot me!
Sam really puts you through the ringer with the emotions in this book, both with Molly's happily ever after AND the lead into Sam's new series, based in Boston. I have really enjoyed this series, and I can't wait to see how this new series plays out ....

Sam, you continue to amaze me. This book, the fourth book in the Laws Of You Series was everything. What a perfect way to end an amazing series. My heart definitely shattered and it was a little bit of an emotional roller coaster BUT I cannot tell you how much I loved this book.
The epitome of a second chance romance. Molly and Gabe are it. Their love. Oh my goodness, their love. A once in a lifetime kind of love that has you swooning and blushing and rooting for them the entire time. The love that they have for one another is like nothing I have ever read. Their declarations of their feelings and the acts of service that Gabe does for her, my gosh 😭😭😭 he is seriously the sweetest man BUT he has a filthy mouth & we love him for it. 😮💨👏🏻

the most perfect characters and the most perfect series. think my heart actually broke while reading this but i’ve literally never loved a series more ❤️🩹 molly and gabe have such a perfect story. i’m so sad to be finishing this series, it’s been such a fun journey to watch all of these characters build such a perfect family. i’ve never felt so connected to characters in a series, samantha brinn u are amazing.

I did not like this. I really tried, but I just didn't enjoy it. For the record, I didn't DNF; I kept reading even though I wanted to quit. So, I can say I actually tried to like this. It's just that this was not love this was just lust. The characters were just flat and monotonous. The only reason why I gave this 2 ⭐ is because I can see that the author put a lot of time and effort into this

This book will tug at your heartstrings while beautifully showcasing how friends can become family. Molly and Gabe were young and in love until tragedy tore them apart. Now, Gabe is back, and his love for Molly has never wavered. Determined to win her heart again, he shows her that she is perfect just the way she is. I cannot even put into words the emotion I feel from this book.
Samantha has waited until the end to give us this beautiful, heartfelt, emotionally charged crescendo to the Laws of You series, and what a way to go out!
I've always been a Molly gal, ever since Hallie and Ben's book. There was just something so relatable about her. Probably that we're both chaos unhinged. And Gabe. Oh my god, this man!
And then the third act... well, I can't go into details.... but let's just say I was basically LC screaming at Heidi outside the bathrooms at Les Deux like, "You know what you did!"
What better way to wrap up a beautiful series and start a fresh new series with a certain someone who IS MINE, by the way. IYKY. I have dibs. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

I am so sad that this series is over, but it ended in the most perfect way possible. This is the first series I’ve read where I can say that every single book is a favorite. Each couple is so special in their own way, and the found family in this series is top tier. Throughout the series, Molly (FMC) has been a rock for her best friends, chaotic in the best way, takes no crap from anyone, and very closed off about her personal life (the only thing we know is that she will not let a relationship become serious with anyone). Gabriel (MMC) was her one true love and though they have been apart for ten years that never changed for either of them. Now he is back for her, ready to do what it takes to earn her trust and friendship again (and hopefully more) and when I say this man is peak book boyfriend you guys, he gives all of the other men in this series a run for their money (and they are all as close to perfect as you can get, in their own imperfect ways).
Gabe and Molly met at the very beginning of freshman year at Berkeley and were inseparable until their last semester of senior year. After Gabe’s parents both died in an accident he had to take on the responsibility of raising his sisters (who were 8 and 12 at the time) and trying to sort out his parents’ complicated estate as well as dealing with his own grief, and he pushed Molly away ending their relationship. Now, ten years later, his youngest sister is independent and away at college and there is nothing tying him to Northern California anymore so it’s time to go and get his woman. Molly (or Rory, as Gabe calls her) is a badass lawyer. She is unapologetically herself, a whirlwind of pink and organized disorganization, and the best friend anyone could ask for. While she is initially shocked at Gabe’s reappearance in her life, I love the way that they seamlessly come together again. It takes time and trust and love to get to where they both (deep down) always knew they would end up but they are so gentle with each other and the communication is top notch, just like the rest of the series. I won’t spoil how the fake engagement comes to be, I will just say that it feels inevitable from the start and never really feels fake at all.
The third act of this book destroyed me, but in the best way. There is no breakup (there are no 3rd act breakups in any of the books in this series) however something traumatic happens within the friend group and it is so difficult to see it all happen. Samantha Brinn writes characters who feel so real, and emotions that are strong. This group is the gold standard of the found family trope and when someone in the group is hurting, the way they all show up for each other is special and heartwarming, and what I wish every person could have in real life. Gabe shows up for Molly, no questions asked and wanting nothing in return. He is her rock and I love the way he is incorporated into the family from the start, even back when Molly wasn’t sure if what she felt was leftover from college or the start of something new and stronger. I am looking forward to seeing where Samantha Brinn takes us next (we are told who the MMC is for book one of her next series at the end of this book, I won’t say who it is because it is a fairly big spoiler) and hope we might see little peeks of this group in the next series because it is going to be hard to leave them behind.

No me gustaba gustando como se estaba manejando la relación de Molly y Gabe, era un sólido 2⭐️, pero luego pasó lo de Allie y la manera en cómo se manejó, se convirtió en 1⭐️
Pensé que el libro de Jordan y Allie trataría sobre un matrimonio en crisis, no que él se enamoraría de alguien más 💔💔💔💔😭😭😭. Me niego a que Jordan se vuelva a enamorar. Su relación con Allie era la más amorosa, fuerte y tierna de todas, y ahora está muerta. En todos los libros pasados, cada uno dijo que su relación era algo fuera de lo común, como si fueran almas gemelas, que eran la relación más fuerte de todo el grupo. No podré ver a Jordan con otra persona ni podré creer que llegue amar a alguien como amaba a Allie.
Por favor, que ella esté viva, que esté en el programa de protección a testigos, que su fantasma se meta en otro cuerpo, o lo que sea, pero que sea ella.
Estoy ofendida porque, se supone que todos son tan buenos amigos, casi como hermanos, we convirtieron en una gran y hermosa familia pero desde que se enteraron del asesinato de Allie, a excepción de Jordan y Molly, todos actuaron como si nada. Molly estaba sufriendo más por la culpa que por su pérdida. Una vez que se dio cuenta de que no era su culpa, se olvidó de su amiga. Solo hay un capítulo sobre el funeral, y solo se menciona que Jordan está mal, mientras todos los demás siguen conversando como si nada. En los siguientes capítulos, continúan con sus vidas como si no hubiera pasado nada, sin una mínima muestra de tristeza. Él solo apareció diciendo que quería otra oportunidad, todos le aplaudieron y eso fue todo. Desde que aparece en su despacho, parece que nunca se fue. Todas sus interacciones son como si nunca la hubiera dejado.
Me molesta esto porque, al terminar su relación, ella moldeó toda su vida alrededor de él. Dejó de lado su amor por el baile por él, se convirtió en abogada por él, dejó de comprar ciertas cosas por él, dejó de ver películas de Marvel por él, nunca intentó estar en otra relación por él. Hay una parte en la que dice que ha vuelto a ser ella misma porque Gabe regresó, qué triste que dependa de un hombre para ser feliz.
Y ella hace lo que él le diga, cuando le dijo que se fuera que ya no la quiera en su vida, ella se fue, pero todos los días le mandaba mensajes y flores. Cuando él le dijo "ya volví y estoy listo para una relación", ella corre a sus brazos. Ella solo está allí para lo que él quiere, y eso me molesta aún más, porque en todos los otros libros, Molly es mostrada como alguien fuerte, inteligente e independiente, pero aquí es una sumisa cuya felicidad depende de lo que Gabe diga y haga.

I’ve been eagerly waiting for this one, and it did not disappoint. I knew Molly & Gabe’s story would be a good one, but I’m sad that the series is over!
First of all, there is nothing sexier than good communication, and I so appreciated how open Gabe was from the start. He wanted Molly back, and he was willing to wait if she needed time. No games, no unnecessary drama—just honesty.
Instead, the story was driven by growth, grief, and rediscovering each other after years apart. It was beautiful to see how much Molly and Gabe still knew each other because they once knew each other so deeply. But even more than that, I loved watching them learn new things about one another. There was something so comfortable yet exciting about it.
Molly, while not as personally relatable to me as Julie was, was a character I loved to watch grow. Her whole life, she’s been told she’s “too much,” and while she projects strength and independence, she still has insecurities. Seeing her become more vulnerable with Gabe was so rewarding. And Gabe. What an absolute gem—equal parts sweet and dirty, nerdy, and downright swoon-worthy. Low key, I would have loved to see more of his dynamic with his sisters because they seemed great, and watching him in big-brother mode would have been fun.
The spice was excellent IMO. Plentiful but beyond the heat, their connection made everything feel even more intense and lovely—they just knew each other so well.
For a little while, I wondered why I was at 70-80% completion when things felt close to wrapping up… and then bam—that plot twist. I did NOT see it coming, and it got me.
But grief in this book wasn’t just one moment—it was layered throughout, from past wounds to present losses. Watching Gabe and Molly support each other through all of it, in different ways, made their relationship feel even stronger and more real. Nothing felt brushed over or rushed, which made the emotional depth of the story hit even harder.
Overall, highly recommend and would absolutely read again.

Second Chance romances are usually way down on my list of favorite tropes. I mean I was super excited for Molly and Gabe after the ending of book 3 but I was still nervous because Molly has been so closed off about this man in all the books…But this second chance was one done exactly how I like it! From a prologue that hooked me all the way to the epilogue, Molly and Gabe are literally soulmates! I also didn’t really blame either of them for what drove them apart, so I was happy to see them come back together.
Despite 10 years since they were together and both of them getting on with life and doing all the things, their hearts never let go. Gabe because he broke them but was waiting until he could go after her with nothing holding him back or without asking Molly to give any thing up. Molly because she understood why he broke them even when it hurt her so deeply. But the time has come and Gabe is ready to get his girl back! He knew he would have to put in the work but also he was the one who did the breaking so he was the one who had to come for her.
Gabe is perfection! A mix between the gooiest and sweetest cinnamon roll and the most patient, steadfast, happy and grateful golden retriever. Gabe rivals Asher for Simp King! Over the 10 years apart, he put in the work and laid the bricks to be able to go after her and be where she was. When he does come her, he was so determined but gentle with Molly. Molly was everything! She is the chaos queen, a badass and knows her worth girl-boss who is very self aware. She understood her pull to him and that he is the one but she knew they had to go slow to really make this second chance work. Their story was beautiful and sweet and steady and their HEA was so satisfying because they are soulmates and complement each other perfectly.
I cannot believe this series is over! The girl gang is definitely my favorite ever! And the found family was felt from book 1 and got stronger throughout. How these friends claim, accept, support and love each other really made the series so amazing.
The way Sam has set up her next series…I am shook! I immediately flew to her DMs! It was like nothing you would expect from her if you’ve read her books before and will leave you shocked. That’s all I’m going to say…🤐
Each book has been amazing but I think the OG couple, Ben and Hallie, just can’t be top for #1 in my 💗. Therefore if you haven’t started this series I recommend you get on it!!

It’s the end of the era for Pittsburgh. I loved Molly and Gabe stories so much. I am literally crying right now. I love this group of friends. We start with Haley and Ben falling in love being best friends then we have Julie and Asher. Julie is this amazing strong woman who has her anxiety and Asher is the one that helps her With her anxiety, the third book we have is Emma and Jeremy and how Emma becomes this foster parents but then ends up adopting and Jeremy has always been in love with her. It’s just an amazing series with Molly and Gabe story and find out why Molly is the way she was in the other books just made me love her completely entirely audibly, and Gabe is just he’s like the perfect book boyfriend in terms. He has a mixture of all the guys in the series but what makes him just so lovable he waited 10 years to get back with Molly now some might say that’s a long time but when you’re dealing with grief and losing two parents at the same time while having to raise your siblings on your own, you’re blinded by your own grieve so I understand gabe in terms of wanting to kind of be alone, and let Molly kind of be free to not having to burden to help him raise his siblings and dealing with his grieve, which yes Molly offered to help, but still gave let her not have to deal with that we did have a sad part in the book that I guess had to happen in order for the new series she’s about to start and was sad. Yes, but Jordan is going to have a happily ever after with the new series. I hope which will be a new chapter within the universe and away. It is the end for Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and we’re moving onto New York City. What I did love about the beginning and the ending of the series was we started at the lake house in the first book and we ended at the lake house in the last book and it’s just a full circle. I’m gonna cry was it spicy yes I love Gabe‘s dirty mouth, but I also really love the storyline and my review is probably all over the place but it’s just how I feel about this book. It’s such an amazing book. I don’t know how Samantha just has this type of writing captivates you I fell in love with the first book I fell in love with the second book I fell in love with the third book and I have fallen in love with the fourth book and I don’t think I will be able to leave this restaurant like Taylor Swift Said I am still at the restaurant

Samantha warned readers that we were not ready for this book and the MCs in it and she was correct! I don’t want to say she left the best for last, but this book was beyond anything I expected from her and closed out her debut series. Our FMC we have known since book one; loving her sassy mouth, quick wit, and somewhat unknown past. Our MMC was brand new to the series, but he fit in perfectly! It is a bittersweet feeling, now that the series is over, but I will definitely reread all of these!
Molly has been our most elusive girl boss so far. Mainly because her story is the last one, but I can completely understand why she needed to be last now. Her past definitely carved parts of her out and made her who she is today, but also caused her view of love to alter and relationships not being for her. I adored getting to know our wild child more through this book and seeing a side of her we haven’t seen yet.
And then there’s Gabe. Samantha, you have always written amazing, swoon worthy MMCs, but I think Gabe takes the cake for your most devoted one yet. The way he comes back into Molly’s life, with no hidden agenda, wanting her back made me kick my feet in glee. As he gets to know Molly again, falling in love with the new parts but bringing some of the old back to the surface, he also falls into their group perfectly. He is the perfect blend of hot billionaire tech, but unafraid to show off his nerdy side.
As with each book, when Samantha brought the spice, she brought the spice! As three of the couples have had a relationship prior to their romance, this relationship was the first where true romance was involved in the past. It brought extra heat to these two that flew off the pages! This spice was full of longing, pining, and soul deep connection. It was everything!!! A wonderful end to the Laws of You series, with Samantha showcasing her talent as an author! I am excited to see what she does next, but this series will always hold a spot in my heart!

ARC REVIEW 💚 The end of an era.
I can’t put into words the emotions that I felt while reading ‘It’s Always Been You.’ Not only for the story of Gabe and Molly, but for the end of the series that has forever changed me.
Gabe and Molly were the perfect final story in the Laws of You series. An epic second chance romance, with a dash of fake engagement, and a healthy dose of spice.
Gabe and Molly met during their freshman year at Berkeley and fell head over heels in love. They planned to spend their lives together, until tragedy struck in their senior year tearing them apart. During that time Gabe became a billionaire tech geek back in California, while Molly kicked ass at Law in Pittsburgh.
Ten years later, Gabe finds himself in Pittsburgh where he does everything in his power to win back the love of his life. The moments between Gabe and Molly, while trying to find their way back to each other, are utterly beautiful. The familiarity and the memories had my heart squeezing in my chest.
This book is so much more than romance and spice; there was heartache and tragedy & I won’t lie to you—it broke me. But it also put me back together again. The tears that I cried, were more than all the tears I cried during every movie & book combined.
The highlight of any ‘Laws of You’ book is the found family & the way Sam sprinkles in little pieces of each character into every new story. IABY made me remember exactly why I fell in love with Ben Parker 3 books ago. It made me thankful that there are Mom’s like Rachel Parker out there. And my gosh, did it make me remember the love and adoration that I have for every single character.
Sam - I can’t thank you enough for giving me these four books. I know that for years to come, I will revisit the 4 best girls & the loves of their life. I will read BOY when I need Hallie to remind me that I can’t please everyone. I will visit with Julie in WIWY when I need to be reminded that I am not alone in my mental health struggles. When I’m feeling like I’m not enough or worthy of the love I deserve, I’ll sit with Jeremy in AFY. And when I need a reminder that I should never dull my sparkle, I will visit with Molly in IABY.

My heart is full and completely shattered in the best way. Samantha Brinn saved the most emotional, heartfelt story for last, and what a way to end the Laws of You series.
Molly and Gabe were everything. I’ve been a Molly girl from the start, and seeing her finally find someone who saw her—chaos and all—was perfect. And Gabe? That golden-retriever-in-a-suit was down bad, and I loved every second of it. Their friend group embracing him, rooting for them, and flipping the script on Molly? Perfection.
But beyond the swoon, this book hurts. It’s love, loss, and healing all wrapped up in one, and Samantha didn’t just break my heart—she gave me a whole fictional family to piece it back together. Saying goodbye to this series is bittersweet, but I need book one of her next series ASAP.🥹💘

I don't know what Samantha puts in these books, but I absolutely DEVOURED this book!! This was such an incredible end to the series, as much as I wanted Molly's story from the beginning, I'm glad we had to wait and got it now! This was such an incredible book!! Molly was, as she has been, such an amazing character! Getting more of her background and seeing how she became the strong, loud, chaos tornado that we know and love was so wonderful and heartbreaking, and getting to see how she learned to navigate her past and grow from it was absolutely amazing! Her shows of loyalty and strength to those she loves and cares about just made you want to be her friend give her all the love and support right back! And Gabe coming in and fighting for Molly the way he did was so amazing! It showed so much dedication that he waited until his sisters were grown and on their own to go get his girl! His love for Molly was so deep and so true is truly made you weak in the knees just to read on the page! And his craving for the friends and family that Molly had found with her group was so sweet, and it was so wonderful the way they all just enveloped him once Molly made it clear that Gabe was hers. Seeing this group of friends that we've all grown to love so much just fold Gabe in so easily and without question was so beautiful!! And seeing how the group helped their own through such deep, awful grief, watching out for Molly and helping her find her way out of her fog, was so beautifully written. This books is certainly more emotional, especially toward the end, so I would advise to double check triggers on it, and be ready with tissues, but that is all I will say. But Samantha does such an incredible job with this story and with these characters!! I could not love the Laws of You series more, and I cannot wait to have them all on my trophy shelf!! 5 stars; 3.75 chili peppers
