I have been looking forward to this book since The Holiday Clause by Ann. We learn pretty early on in the book that there is a bit of history between Fallon and Harrison. From the beginning, you can tell that there is still so much tension between the two of them and it comes across as hate, banter, and soon become enemies.Fallon is a chef and she works really hard in order to create menus that are allergy friendly. Harrison decides to have Fallon be his personal chef with of course some interference from his mother. If you’ve read the rest of the series, which I highly recommend that you do, you know that Harrison’s mom plays a big role in all of their relationships.Soon after Fallon moves in with Harrison, their relationship begins to develop into more friendly territory, but the tension is still there and they’re arguing, and pranking each other. It’s clear that they have so much chemistry, but they are both really stubborn. When the two of them finally get to a breaking point and the attraction is too much, and the chemistry is so clear they finally have a conversation, which was long overdue.Fallon and Harrison working things out and discussing things in the past that was getting in the way of them moving on in the future with each other was so refreshing. There was a lot of swoony moments leading up to them finally getting back on track. If you love an enemies to lover, second chance romance, with forced proximity you will absolutely love this book.This series has been so much fun and it really has some of the best characters. I fell in love with the first book in the series and to be finishing up the series was so bittersweet. The ending epilogue had me in tears, to look back at all of the couples and where they are was so rewarding. I’m going to miss the series a lot but it will definitely be a series I come back to on the future.

    Harrison Stafford was worth the wait!

    I absolutely loved every single thing about If You Give A CEO A Chance! Fallon Hayes and Harrison were a match made in heaven. These two had electric chemistry, even when fighting with one another.

    Ann has a new trope on her hands: the miscommunication/misunderstanding trope. These are the best kinds: when one innocent incident turns on a dime and formulates one of the biggest misunderstandings that last for over a decade.

    Fallon is like so many young women who can relate to not having the nurturing parental figure in their life, so much so that they burden the responsibility squarely on their shoulders. I absolutely applaud Ann for writing Fallon with a fierce confidence, yet also giving her lots of moments of vulnerability, uncertainty and growth to learn how to trust.

    I wanted Harrison to at some point to pass the reins of responsibility to both of his brothers. As an older child, I too had to sacrifice a lot to make others happy. I was glad that I could truly connect with Harrison on that level. I think his grumpy demeanor wasn’t toward the loss of his freedom but more of losing someone he thought he could start a life with.

    Things I Loved

    Walter. I loved that he wasn’t too in Fallon’s and Harrison’s relationship. Sometime being subtle is the way to go.

    Cat. That cat called the shots and gave Fallon a run for her money in the feisty department.

    The Stafford Siblings. I love a good group chat chapter and Cash will always be my favorite.

    The Pranks. Hilarious! I wanted to see more pranks between them.

    The romance between them never lost its spark. The heat was there even when they were mad at one another. I loved this whole book and their spicy scenes were the best written.

As you progress through Harrison and Fallon’s story you get to see what happens when you really take the time to give other people a chance.

    I really enjoyed the writing in this book. The author kept the story moving and added some laugh worthy content along with the heartache, tension, and drama that you expect to find in a contemporary romance. Not only were Fallon and Harrison great main characters, the side characters always brought an element of fun, family (both real and found), support, and love. If you have read any of Anne Einerson’s previous books, you will not be disappointed to see some of your favorite characters again. All in all, I found this be to an enjoyable book that kept me engrossed in what would happen next.

    If second chance romance with some pranks, a crazy cat, and a mom that just can’t help but try to find the perfect person for her children sounds like a good time, you should curl up on your couch or favorite reading chair with this one!
