What a wonderful day we had on the 21st June at Newcastle University for our 4th National Drugs and Alcohol Conference held in partnership with The Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation.
The morning consisted of a range of excellent speeches from a wide range of experts including Joy Allen from The Association of Police and Crime Commissioners, Kirsty Blenkins from The Office for Health Inequalities and Disparities and David Regis from Schools Health Education Unit, among many others.
The afternoon offered delegates the chance to attend two workshops on important topics including alcohol education, the adolescent brain, choice and risk and cannabis education.
We are pleased to be able to share with you slides and voice recordings of the morning speeches which can be accessed via https://alcoholeducationtrust.org/the-national-drug-and-alcohol-education-conference-2023/ Here you can also access the slides from the afternoon workshops.
