I'm (obviously) all about nostalgia in general but not when it comes to candy! I get that everything came from somewhere and evolved... but seriously why do we still have – Candy Corn? It's neither candy or corn dammit!
Even as a kid, I thought it would be good, ya know, it's a Halloween "treat". But nope... even when trick-or-treatin as a youngster we ALL knew to stay away from that shiz!
In fact, if you gave use candy corn we knew you were cheap and seriously considered "trickin" your house as punishment.
For those that have never tried it, candy corn tastes like sugary chalk, has zero flavor and burns my throat.
I'd rather eat Tootsie Rolls ...and no-one likes those either!!
